This was an amazing experience from start to finish! Austin, our server, never let a cup go dry nor a plate empty. He was informative and kind and made our experience top tier. The food was cooked to perfection. There is something for everyone's taste and preferences here. The cooks who carry/carved the meats, did so with professionalism, joy and enthusiasm, that never left you without a smile nor without a happy full plate. The show kitchen, ornate chandeliers and the clean and upscale atmosphere added class and showmanship to an already astounding performance made by both front and back of house staff. The fine touches, like for my son's Birthday dessert, were the perfect ending to a satisfying and delicious meal. It was worth every penny and the 60 mile drive we made. We will be back!
Always delicious, and service is fast. Great place to come if you’re super hungry- there’s hardly any waiting before you can help yourself to the amazing salad/hot bar, and as soon as you turn over your card to green you’ll have an onslaught of so much Brazilian meat being offered to you left and right. My favorites are the flank steak and potatoes au gratin.
My family and I celebrated Christmas Day Dinner at this establishment. The service was great. Our server was Briana. She was very pleasant. Her energy was that of excitement and accommodating. This was our first time at this location. She explained the steps needing to take to enjoy our experience. The salad, soup and other sides bar was impressive. Then came the meat! Very tender and seasoned well. By it being Christmas the restaurant was packed with people. The servers were super busy. Briana did provide excellent customer service with a touch of interjecting personal humor. The experience was excellent. We never got to take a picture of the food because we were too busy eating!
Good option if you like consuming large amounts of protein, fresh and flavorful sides. Dipping the cheese bread into the crab bisque is a must try. Desserts are ok, nothing crazy special going on there.
I recently had the pleasure of dining at Texas de Brazil for the first time in Short Pump, Va. We had a group of nine, celebrating a friend’s birthday. This Brazilian steakhouse completely exceeded my expectations. It's no wonder this establishment is renowned for its endless selection of succulent steaks, chops, lamb, and other mouthwatering cuts of meat. From start to finish, my dining experience was an absolute delight. I love how the servers bring these large racks of beautiful meat to your table and carve in front of you to your heart’s desire.
One of the highlights of my meal was the beef short ribs. These tender and juicy ribs were bursting with flavor, leaving me yearning for more with each bite. The meat was perfectly cooked, and the flavors were incredibly well-balanced. It was undoubtedly a standout dish that left a lasting impression.
Speaking of steaks, I must commend Texas de Brazil for their mastery in preparing them. Every steak, from the skirt steak to the filet mignon, was cooked to perfection. Each cut was beautifully seasoned, seared to a delectable crust, and served with precision. The quality and taste of the meat were exceptional, and the fact that they kept coming ensured that I could savor a variety of cuts throughout the meal.
Another dish that won me over was the stuffed chicken. The chicken breast was tender and moist, and the flavorful stuffing added a delightful twist to the dish. It was a perfect balance of textures and flavors, leaving me thoroughly impressed. I also enjoy the pork ribs and lamb.
Accompanying my main courses, the side of delicious mashed potatoes added a comforting touch to the meal. Creamy, smooth, and perfectly seasoned, they were the ideal complement to the rich flavors of the meats. And let's not forget the addictive cheese rolls, which were downright irresistible. They were warm, cheesy, and utterly enticing, making them a delightful addition to the meal.
The salad bar at Texas de Brazil offers a plethora of options to satisfy every palate. The array of fresh, vibrant vegetables, cheeses, and dressings was truly impressive. It was a feast of colors and flavors, providing a wonderful opportunity to stimulate the taste buds before diving into the main course.
Beyond the exceptional cuisine, the atmosphere of Texas de Brazil was lively and vibrant. It's a great place for various occasions, whether it's a girls' night out, date night, or a family gathering. The well-appointed dining area was clean and comfortable, creating a pleasant ambiance for an enjoyable dining experience. The wait staff deserves special mention for their warm welcome, kindness, and accommodation throughout the evening. Their attentive and friendly service further enhanced the overall experience.
In conclusion, Texas de Brazil is a Brazilian steakhouse that truly delivers an exquisite dining experience. The beef short ribs were juicy and flavorful, the steaks were perfectly prepared and abundant, and the stuffed chicken, lamb and ribs were simply amazing. The delectable mashed potatoes, addictive cheese rolls, and diverse salad bar added depth and variety to the meal. The lively atmosphere, along with the clean and well-appointed dining area, made it an ideal choice for various occasions. The welcoming and accommodating wait staff ensured a memorable and enjoyable evening. I highly recommend Texas de Brazil to anyone seeking a remarkable Brazilian steakhouse experience. #texasdebrazil #braziliansteakhouse #endlesssteak #steak #diningout #foodie #dmveats #virginiarestaurants #richmondva #richmondrestaurants #luefrasreviews #atthetablewithluefras #luefras #luefrastv
Experience was great and good was tasty. It's a buffet, so isn't quite the same as ordering fresh. Plenty of options for meat that they bring around to each table. I enjoyed the bacon wrapped filet the best. Lobster bisque was delicious as well.

This was a wonderful place!! The food was excellent and the service was top notch. Definitely come again, thank you.
Brazilian Steakhouse never disappoints, from Fogo de Chão in Manhattan, and Boston to Texas de Brazil in Richmond.
Brazilian cuisine is one of my favorites and this place certainly surpassed my expectations. The waitlist was very long, and I almost decided to go somewhere else. I guess one way to mitigate that is probably called ahead and make a reservation, if that’s allowed obviously. But in the end it was totally worth the wait.
My all time favorites is obviously the picanha but the highlight of the night for me was the passion fruit Caipirinha. It was so good, I ordered it 3 times
Justin was very kind, always checking on us and making sure we were ok. He went above and beyond to ensure we were being attended accordingly.
To say we had a great time here tonight is an understatement and I can’t wait to visit this place again in the near future.
Me and my employees went to Texas De Brazil to celebrate a milestone achievement. Be for warned, yes it is expensive but you get what you pay for and what you are paying at this restaurant is absolutely 100% worth the cost.
Food was top notch, service left nothing to be desired, and ambience of the restaurant was second to none. Highly recommend you try this place out if you haven’t yet
Went here for my anniversary and this place is absolutely amazing! The food is next level in taste. They have various meats from chicken, beef, pork, lamb, to various cuts as breast, flank, filet, short ribs, etc. The staff definitely knows how to treat you like royalty. They come by every 1-2 minutes offering a cut of another meat to keep your craving’s satisfied! As if that wasn’t enough, they cook to order! They have rare, medium rare, medium, medium well, and well, and it’s yours in the link of an eye. Not only does he meat come to you with lightning speed, but it is juicy, succulent, flavorful, and mouth watering! I had to have at least 1 1/2 lbs of meat! I left that restaurant as if I was having my last meal on death row! Supposedly, they have a terrific salad bar with fresh cut veggies, fruits, charcuterie, and more, but I go to steakhouses for MEAT! They also have an array of delicious dessert options to choose from. The experience is well worth the price! Definitely a repeat customer and absolutely recommend to others to try. Please excuse the lack of pictures. The food was getting to me at an alarming fast rate, I just didn’t have the time lol!
Always a great experience. Wonderful service, great salad bar (with very good soups!) and delicious all you can eat meats. The steaks are obviously the star of the show, but the variety of lamb, chicken, ribs, and sausages are all wonderful in their own way. The sides and palate cleansers you have at your table are also all amazing, and their dessert is very good as well. You pay for the quality and the experience, but it's certainly worth it.
My husband took me there for our 1yr anniversary. Our server Brandon was amazing. Made sure the meats were coming out right, made sure we never had an empty glass, made sure everything waa to our liking. At the end of the meal he offered us some dessert and comped one of them. When he came out with my carrot cake that had the "Happy Anniversary" message and a candle it really made the whole day.
Thank you Brandon for a wonderful dining experience. You were amazing! Keep it up.
Never a bad experience but this definitely made it better than ever.
I went here and my expectations were not too high because I knew nothing about the restaurant. I was greeted and asked if I had a reservation and I said no. It being around 3:30 on a Saturday during the holiday season . The greater said she could seat me within a half an hour so I waited. We were called after 20 minutes and seated in a prime location where we could watch the cooking. Our server came and asked if we had been before and we said no so she gave us the rundown. She said the meat gets cooked too around medium and if we wanted it different just wait until someone comes around. So we did that and she told the meat people how we liked it. Well friends it wasn't 5 minutes and they started bringing the meat to us just as we asked. We got to try everything. They had like 15 different meats and they were perfectly cooked to our liking. They didn't stop coming until we flipped the card over. We also decided on trying the desert. The Brazilian cheesecake was one of the best things I have ever had, the carrot cake was perfect, the key lime pie was perfect not too bitter and the citrus creme brulee was to die for. At first glance it does have sticker shock but trust me it is worth every penny. If you leave hungry there is something wrong with you. I mean all you can eat meat, come on. And the best part is you were never rushed we were there for two and a half hours and it felt like half an hour. I strongly recommend this place
Everything was great. Giving it 4 stars because you now have to buy the lamb chops separately. It's no longer part of the meats that come to your table. For 3 is $8 and for 8 its $18 or $19 extra.
The salad bar is top tier. Limeade pirchers were alright. Hit or miss depending who makes it.
If you love meat so much, this is definately a place for you! We enjoyed their salad bar. The people who serves meats were so attentive everytime we need more on our plate. I also want to commend the bread they served us. It’s so fresh and soft that it melts in your mouth.
Food was good, and lots of it. The servers that come to your table with meat were great. The rest of the folks really didn't care and were sort of rude, and seamed annoyed that we were there. Not likely to go back. With the price of the dinner being greater than $100 for two people (without drinks) I was hoping to have better service.
Our Server made our experience great! She patiently explained the process and made sure we enjoyed all that our money paid for! With a blanket cost, we had to learn how to get the most of everything they offered us. Including my special Birthday 🥳 dessert!

I love me a good Brazilian steakhouse and I go to them regularly. I would have to say for the taste, service and selection, this place is so far the best I've been to.
They ask and remember what temperature you want your meat to be cooked to. I like medium while my Uncle likes medium rare. They stop by with the meat and the temperature you like.
I will have to go with the lamp chops as my favorite, second is the ribeye and the flank steak as third.
My mother loved the chicken stating it wasn't dry and the flavors were yummy.
I took a video of the all you can eat salad bar. So many choices you have to be careful not to fill up on that before even starting the meats.
Yes, I will highly recommend this place and encourage you to visit if you are in Midlothian VA. :)
Last note, I was celebrating my bday and they did it so well. Birthday candle and cake. No singing, than goodness. :)
