Ordered take out. The food was ready about 20 minutes after ordering. The staff was friendly. The online ordering is easy to use. The burrito was pretty good, I think the chicken was a little over cooked, but overall pretty good. I liked the combo of Asian flavors served in a burrito. The spring roll was really good.

Great food and atmosphere, service good but a little slow. Excellent happy hour margaritas! Very nice Asian-Latin fusion theme. Fatty fajita bao were very good, a must-try appetizer. Chips trio and plantains about as good as you would expect, guac and queso very nice. Can't go wrong with the other entrees, drinks, salad, and desserts. Taco flight a very nice options - especially loved the Asian BBQ pork tacos.

We came here on a whim after being turned away at a place next door for not having a reservation. We almost kept walking but then decided to go in and I’m so glad we did. The service was phenomenal and our waiter’s recommendations were perfection. The calamari was indescribably good. Originally they brought me out the wrong sandwich but took it back and brought me out the correct one very quickly. The bulgogi Banh Mi was so unique with the guacamole and cilantro but it was the perfect blend of both cuisines. And the plantains….. oh the plantains….. how do I love thee? Let me count the ways. Please try this place. Everything on the menu looks incredible, I don’t think you can choose wrong.

Fusion done right! We are so happy we decided to eat here before heading out to the Altria. We started two appetizers, a flight of tacos, and dessert. The food is packed with an explosion of flavor and spice - the perfect blend of both cuisines. My fiancé probably would have ordered two plates of nacho fries if he had the choice. If we lived in this area, we would certainly be regulars, so I highly recommend trying this amazing restaurant!

First time eating at Wong Gonzalez & wasn't disappointed. Was a little skeptical about an Asian Latin fusion spot so didn't jump out the window. Just ordered some drinks & appetizers. Those was really good so I plan on returning in the future to try some other dishes besides appetizers. Really loved the calamari. Might come back for that alone. I had a waiter who's name I forgot that was really doing his thing. Not only was he the waiter but he was the bartender as well. Wasn't slacking in either field. So the service was outstanding to say the least. If you're looking to try something different & tasty this is definitely a spot worth giving a try. This restaurant lives up to the hype unlike most other spots out here.

Went there solo for dinner, and got the flight of four tacos. They were really big and generous with the fillings, so I can assure you that I didn't leave hungry (could even finish my nacho chips). I've been to other asian (korean)/mexican fusion places before, and when done right, they can be really good. The tacos all in all were good, but the beef taco, despite being a szechuan taco, was a bit bland. I couldn't taste any of the spices or the other seasonings. The asian bbq taco was probably my favorite of the bunch. I also got the wok sauteed veggies (just to get in my 5-a-day), which I was worried would just be a token side veggie dish, but was actually very tasty. Service was friendly and super fast. Vegetarian and gluten free friendly as well.

They have a very unique fusion of Asian and Mexican. Fairly good sized place with a bar and outdoor seating. Wasn't overly busy when we went. Our server was fantastic. Super attentive and quippy. We order the 3 dip and flight of tacos. I thought the salsa and guacamole were pretty bland. Wasn't overly impressed with it. They tacos were good. Everything was very fresh. Think I liked the shrimp taco the best, but all were tasty. I can see this place getting packed in the evening. Want to try some different type of things, This is a Great place to do that

Ate here during an RVA day trip and the food was incredible. We opted for a guac app but then two Asian inspired entrees. The Mongolian chicken was some of the best Asian food I’ve ever had, and I eat plenty of it. Tons of flavor, great freshness from the veggies, all around great. Nice house marg too during happy hour.

The food and service was amazing. It’s a Mexican-Asian fusion spot and it’s chef’s kiss good! The fried rice is to die for….even just as a side (not pictured). I ordered the Mongolian Chicken Hotpot and the veggies and flavor was delicious with a little spice kick. I also had the sweet plantains that had a sweet caramel like sauce, nuts, and cream sauce but honestly were good just alone. Overall, enjoyed the meal and will be back. I believe our waitress’ Name was Leslie and she was so kind and patient. Highly recommend you try it.
