This is a smaller place that offers some nice selections. I went for breakfast and got both the hummus plate (~$11) and the veggie country fried chicken (~$12) which came up to about $26 combined. The fried chicken was about average. Honestly loved the hummus so much I forgot about the fried chicken platter, which was delicious and was definitely worth the cost. This plate is easily sharable among 3-4 people. The restaurant is small and quaint so don't expect too much free seating around if you get there around busy hours.

It was sooo yummy!!! I'm vegan and the vegan options......🤤🤤🤤....delicious. (I couldn't decide so I had the vegan chai french toast and vegan breakfast sandwich.) My date isn't vegan and he enjoyed his smoked salmon bagel just as much! I didn't get a picture of any of the food.....way too good to let the phone eat first.....but the cocktails are yummy too. (He went back without me because he said he couldn't wait 😂😂😂.) Highly recommend.

I’m really impressed by the variety of the vegan options here. The menu is super creative and there are many unique dishes and cocktails to choose from. They are a busy little place but it is very worth the wait.

This restaurant has tasty vegan options and a fun vibe. They have two TVs playing older movies, which was fun to watch and comment on while we enjoyed our meal.

This is one of my favorite vegan-friendly restaurants in town. Some of the vegan options have "vegan" in the name, but some don't. So ask the server. The breakfast potatoes and grits are vegan. I've also seen vegan pancakes on the Quickness RVA menu, but not online. I love them! The Tofu Po'boy is one of my favorite sandwiches.

A local gem with so many vegan options and super friendly and responsive staff. I have had a blast rltrying the vegan options, and blueberry pancakes are my favorite.

Kicking myself for taking so long to visit this place! Great atmosphere, EXCELLENT diner food, good beer selection, and awesome prices. I went for brunch and got the Everything bagel with Lox - SO FREAKING GOOD. I’ve had this same meal at many other restaurants and this was by far the best. If you love salmon, this is a must try!

My first time here. Had an early dinner with friends before a show at the Altria Theater. The Sweet Potato fries were the big hit of the table! I really enjoyed the 1/2 lb. burger with goat cheese and regular fries. My friend said the Black Bean & Sweet Potato burger was delicious. Another had the small Oregon Hill Goat salad and it was plenty big. Had the vegan Hazlenut Latte cake and it was okay for my first vegan cake. The frosting was sooo good. I'll need to come back to try other items.

I so enjoy this spot, their vegan options are great! I tried the vegan chai french toast, it was tasty, could have been cooked a little longer, I’ll say that next time. My partner got the tofu scramble which was good and the potatoes. The potatoes are amazing, very well seasoned. Their vegan chicken is ridiculously delicious and they have the nerve to have vegan ranch which is delicious and light! The vegan desserts are equally pleasing. Nice atmosphere & staff. Check them out! Peace, love & light!

We loved everything about our experience at 821 Cafe. We ordered the breakfast burrito and biscuits & gravy. Both were amazing but the b&g were the best I’ve had in a restaurant setting…and believe me, I know my b&g! Heather was our server and she was awesome! Super helpful with food recommendations and she gave us great recommendations for things to do while here. Great vibe, delicious food! Must try!

The sub blew me away with flavor. It’s rare that all parts of a sandwich is top notch but this place does it! Also the fry’s are fresh and better than your average potato. The mimosa was the star of the meal. Very boozy and very tasty. There are multiple options for flavors available (peach, cranberry, grapefruit, etc. )

Pretty good all around. Can't ever go wrong with their breakfast options. I'm personally not a huge sandwich person but they're solid. If you're a citrus fan, the lemon french toast is divine. I stop by here every once in a while especially with how accessible getting here is, that being said I need to stop by later in the day and check out the bar options.

It's a very cute breakfast place, though it is very tight in there, so it can be loud. The wait was about 20 minutes for a table, even though there were quite a lot of people waiting, most were able to get a table within 20-30 mins. Their french toast was delicious, and they had decent prices for a restaurant on campus.

We happen to be in Richmond, VA for work. We were hungry and decided to have dinner before returning to Charlotte, NC. We looked up places with vegan options and I can say with no issues, one of the best meals ive ever had. With that being said our waitress has the personality of a wet rag. Our 3 year old can hold a conversation better than her. Again food was amazing.
