Best Cafe is understandably concerned about cleanliness, especially during the pandemic, and that’s great! Fortunately, delicious and healthy food is still available there. Today I met someone there for lunch, and we both enjoyed sitting outside. It was getting hot outside. Thankfully, we were under shade of the building, and there was a nice breeze!

I always enjoy taking a break here. The coffee is excellent, the food quality is very good for a cafeteria but it is the ability to just sit and think or talk with friends about the art you have just enjoyed.

Four stars only because they close half an hour earlier than the museum. If you are not aware of it you'll end up getting nothing at the end of the day. Other than that, it's a great place to have a snack or a full meal. Not a huge variety of choices for dinner but great for lunch. Several choices for coffee, tea or fountain drinks. Bakery goods are always great! My favorite- poppy seed lemon muffins (slightly under-baked sometimes but most often very good). Their quinoa- bean salad from the deli bar is great! Compliments to serving staff. All these young people work hard and are very nice if you're nice to them :-) Both inside and outside on the patio are great places to enjoy your cup of tea/coffee or a glass of wine. It can be very peaceful out there during the day but Jazz evenings on Thursday mean big crowds and loud music, so come early if you want to have your choice of seating.

Located in the Virgina Museum of Fine Arts on the first floor. They serve quick bites and order to check out is reasonably quick. Pizza, deli sandwiches and cold salads are your primary choices. Prices are reasonable (considering choices are limited at the museum) and food quality is good.

This is a great cafe to stop and take a rest from touring the museum, or even just enjoying a meal or snack or coffee in an unusual setting. The desserts in particular are to die for...I sometimes go in just for coffee and a cookie.

One of the coolest places in Richmond. Great coffee, excellent food, a hard working staff in a superb museum with a stunning architectural landscape.

Food is great and well-priced. The cafe is a big open area with plenty of seating and lovely views of the sculpture garden. A bit noisy when crowded but a great choice for lunch when you've got a few hours of museum walking to do.

Cheapest coffee in town, it's Blanchards, and free refills. The food line is always the quicker line

Food / Drink choices arent as expansive as a cafe or restaurant, but the cafeteria area is a beautiful place to hang out in.

Fair prices for museum food. The meal was very good, we had the pulled pork sandwiches and broccoli cheddar soup.

A perfect stop for a quick bite at the right price, in a world-class museum, situated in an oasis of calm, in a fantastic historic neighborhood.

Beautiful place. Food is probably ok. No power outlets at all, unfortunately
