City Diner - Richmond - Photo album

Needed a breaskfast spot and came upon this place. There was a bit of a wait time considering they were busy and the place isn’t that big. The food came out very quickly once order was placed. Large portions and good reasonable prices. Food was just OK nothing special.
When I tell you this place is GOOOD believe me lol , never have I ever had my food served so HOT , everything was perfect temperature. The chicken country fried steak with gravy amazing! French toast is a large portion! The $8 mimosa delicious. The waitress very friendly , I loved the idea it was a
Quick and friendly service. Delicious food. A little loud but it's a busy diner.
Spent the night in a Richmond hotel, stopped here for breakfast this morning. It's a super cool little joint, with great service and the whole line of cooks were working fast trying to keep up to all the orders. It was obvious that they had a lot of regulars in addition to folks like me that just
This place was busy, but was served almost immediately. Food portions were very generous. Feeling quite stuffed. Eggs cooked perfectly and yummy pancakes. Definitely be back here.
Friday morning breakfast was a delight here. I can't tell you our 2 waitress names because they was so welcoming and it felt like home with lots of chatter, music playing todays hits. The food was so good and honestly I've read reviews about the portion sizes not being enough. Mine was more then eno
The food and portion size were good. The staff was cheerful and fast. I did not wait long for my meal. This City Diner was great for a fast basic breakfast. And the music was awesome.
This place is amazing. Staff was nice. Food is amazing. The mighty mosa was everything. First time here and this is my go to place now. I left so happy
First time there and had lunch. My grilled ham & ch on Texas toast was pretty good. Fries and tea was good. All the other dishes seen being served looked yummy. Music is very loud. Older gentleman cooking needs to change gloves more often.
We have tried the sausage gravy with biscuits, the chicken strips, Philly cheese steak, and fried chicken sandwich. Everything was delicious, we have never been disappointed, the wait staff and friendly and attentive. This is our favorite go to spot, for breakfast or lunch, our kids love the pancake
I've had this spot saved in maps for a while, and I finally got there this morning. It wasn't crowded at all but it was almost 10:00 AM. The staff was very friendly and my order arrived quickly. I had the 'ham scramble'. I didn't ask before ordering, but thankfully, the ham was what I'd call 'city'
Stopped for a quick breakfast, had French toast with tater tots. The toasts were little dry, but was good and coffee was right. Enjoyed the service on the bar opposite to the sizzling grill.
I got the Philly omelet. Man was it good! Nice size portion. Fast service. &I chose the pancakes, man they were nice and fluffy. Definitely 5 stars. Come in there early and get you some good food!
I always wanted to try Scrapple and was surprised when I saw it on the menu. Of course I had to try it. I can always tell how good a place is by the Biscuits & Gravy, this little gem was on point. The staff was very nice and weren't pushy, will return with my other children soon.
What a fantastic find! Stopped here on my way to Florida, definitely worth the short trip off I-95. Huge portions, fresh ingredients, great prices, wonderful staff. Easy parking. Great access from and back onto 95. Highly recommended!
Really enjoyed breakfast here! They were busy but they get you in pretty quick. Great menu selection. Everything was great!
