so cozy! i love sitting on the patio. bagels are always super yum, i love their veggie cream cheese. the strawberry brie pastry is one of my absolute favorites. staff are always super friendly even when they’re busy. the brown sugar latte is my favorite, but i tried the cold brew for the first time today. super smooth and flavorful! it’s a little expensive, but it’s a small coffee shop downtown, so of course it is lol. that being said it’s always worth it as a nice treat when we have the money. :)

Was looking for a nice local coffee shop in the area to go too, and Lift was recommended, so why not take a look. The Coffee: Coffee here was good! I went with a Cold Brew, and it certainly hit the spot. Coffee itself was flavorful and was fresh. Also had a Blueberry Muffin here, but my complaint on that was it's a muffin from Costco. Nothing special about it. The Service: Service was great! Staff were friendly and welcoming. Orders were out in a timely manner. Solid service and fair prices The Atmosphere: Very nicely decorated coffee shop here in RVA. Plenty of seating both indoors and an outdoor patio. Very relaxed and friendly vibes all around here. Overall, a 4/5! Nice little coffee spot to relax and maybe get some work done. Good drinks and friendly people.

Took us a bit to find parking, so we walked a couple of blocks to get there. Great little place, I had the Irish coffee which was good. Not a bad wait for the line they had.

This a really solid breakfast/ brunch cafe. It's everything you'd imagine a cafe to be. Its cozy, charming and chill atmosphere makes you feel like you're at home. There's nothing like a local store front that gets it right. I really enjoyed this place. I'll be back.

Tried a couple of their *favorites* on the menu and it did not disappoint. The coffee was delightful and food was great. Will definitely come back.

Came up from NC for that tattoo shop next store. My first time in Richmond! I stopped by for some food and drink before my tattoo appointment and the staff was super helpful and sweet! I’m gluten intolerant and when they ran out of gluten free bread for my breakfast sandwich they happily made me another, gluten-free meal. I’ve had other places cancel my order before for similar reasons, so the accommodation and extra effort was appreciated. One of the staff also gave me some great suggestions on places to go and things to do around town! I plan on coming back to Richmond in the future so I’ll definitely come back here for some breakfast to start my day right!

Quaint coffee shop in the arts district. Yummy chocolate covered coffee beans are available, be sure to get some! Wing mural is located in the back garden, so snap a pic and proceed to be “an angel on earth” helping others!

Breakfast Burrito - Unique with tomatoes & lettuce but super good!! Iced Mayan Latte - wonderful, especially w/ the burrito! Dog Friendly AND my barista Marie brought a water bowl out for my pup Frodo! So kind.

I love the muffins and the chicken pesto panini. There’s a nice private patio in the back of the cafe. They do play some music for ambience but it’s played at a low volume. I like coming to Lift to work on the patio or the cafe and their food keeps me coming back compared to other cafes that run out of food to serve.

A lovely little coffee spot! The staff is always friendly, the coffee is hot and the vibes are immaculate. There's ample outdoor seating as well. I prefer the seating towards the back, as I just think it's a little prettier.
