Hello! We just visited yesterday! I ordered the Galley Paella and my partner ordered the Gut Burger. The burger was fantastic! The burger had a fried egg with bacon, and pimento cheese. My paella was lacking but wasn’t bad, it was a “Galley Paella” and instead of more seafood options they went with Ham instead. The muscles in the paella were a bit small but of course that is dependent on the current market. My main compliant is that the star of the Galley Paella the Ham was lost in the rest of it. Even when grabbing a good portion of Ham you barely tasted it. It should really stand out since most Paellas don’t normally use it. The cornbread was extremely dry, and I don’t think you could finish it without a drink. For almost double the price you’re better off sticking to the burgers and sandwiches. Speaking of drinks though, this place has an amazing array of draft beers, specifically we had the pumpkin ale which was awesome! The customer service was very friendly and prompt with orders and refills of drinks. Definitely recommend anyone to come in and you’ll be in for a pleasant surprise!
Great place, very straightforward sit and eat. The menu is extensive, but creative. I had a hard time deciding what to have. The specials are different without being pretentious. The draft menu is also extensive and seems to have thought behind the selections.
The tortilla that came with my chicken tinga special was better than any dish from a chain restaurant. The food is fresh, and creative.
Great food and drinks at reasonable prices. It's easily in our top 5 places to eat in Richmond.
Best eggs and cheese anywhere..usually get Meaty Yolker but chicken fried steak was "fire"(and side of Rana sauce)...omletes are a big winner too and French toast and bloody marys..
Wow! Galley might be our new favorite spot! From delicious pizza to creative food specials and a stunning, family style dining experience where you can see the magic in the making, we won’t be able to stay away! Greg was the bartender for my first visit and he made everything so relaxing by enhancing the entire atmosphere! Whether you want to grab a beer or a snack or bring in the family, Galley should be your new go to just like it will be for us! Thanks for everything Galley!
Had a fabulous lunch here yesterday! My 1st time there, won't be my last! I had a BLT w/slaw, my friends had a reuben & the Caesar salad w/chicken. Portions are big & so good. Our waitress was lovely. Left my cell back at the house, so no foodie pics.
Great atmosphere, great staff. Huge appetizers! Really good food!! I got the mussels sauteed in white wine and the chicken wing appetizers, these are both meals by themselves! Very impressed, lots of good food for cheap prices!
The Galley is one of my favorite local restaurants! They offer 'blackboard specials' throughout the day.
I love their dinner specials which begin at 5p! Their standard menu is ample and offers a variety of selections.
The beer offerings are exceptional for lovers of craft beer!
The atmosphere is great with their open kitchen and the music playlists they feature are amazing!
I've been a patrol from the beginning and the 'blackboard specisls' have never disappointed!
5 stars because of the pizza! Try the sweet hot, the fennel sausage, the fig and ham, heck while you're at it get the grape and gorgonzola!
Usually pickup but have dined in a couple of times and enjoy the vibes and the outdoor seating. Pizza is best thing on the menu imo.
Cozy Stratford Hills staple (across from new Sheetz)!! Great Pasta, Pizza, & sandwiches. A fresh seafood selection, Med dishes (paella) & appetizers! Good value for casual, local dining & take out! 4.0 stars food/ 4.5 star value; friendly 4 star service; 3.5 star busy atmosphere with booths and a few outdoor tables for 2!
Went here on recommendation from a local. The restaurant was quite full when we got there for Sunday dinner (which seemed like a good sign). The wait staff was extremely friendly and helpful! The environment was clean and comfortable. The food was absolutely amazing! I was craving a burger and this place definitely satisfied that craving. I ordered the Lentil Burger (vegetarian) which came with feta cheese, tomato, and tzatziki sauce on top. I replaced the lentil burger with a beef patty and added lettuce. It was delicious! The fries were great too. They were able to make my meal with no added salt and it still tasted fantastic! Would definitely recommend this place for some good American food.

Got the Seared Ahi special with WASABI MASHED POTATOES and bok choy. The mashed potatoes were NOT messing around! Absolutely delicious and definitely had a serious kick. Place fills up fast to go early. Will definitely be back.
Stopped by Saturday midday before the crowd. Excellent service and food, as usual. Had the chili, which was great, but I'm including a pic from a previous visit when I had one of my faves... Baked Polenta w/ fried eggs.
Great neighborhood market/ cafe/ coffee shop with Italian/ Cuban/ Greek influences which goes to say it's pretty unique. I've already made 3 trips just to buy the ready made to-go foods from their awesome chefs, the market also sells a variety of local products. They are now serving pizzas, breakfast dishes, sandwiches, salads, and soups. As well as beer on tap, wine and everything you expect from a coffee shop too. There were a variety of customers at brunch time reading papers, sipping on coffee, shopping, waiting for a to go order and people just enjoying their meal in the relaxed neighborhood atmosphere. I'm super excited for this addition and hope it thrives!
Servers are really sweet and food is good and reasonably priced. Kid-friendly atmosphere, seating and good kid’s menu.
It doesn't look all that much from outside but this no nonsense restaurant, with its row of booths opposite a bar stacked with great beers and ciders, serves great food cooked from the heart. Treat yourself!
The Creole Shrimp and Grits is always amazing! The service could use help-had to request wait service as well as a check after we were seated b/c no server ever came to assist us.
