Ive been eating at Melito's for 20 years. I've never had a bad experience. The food has always been consistently delicious and high quality. On occasion I have noticed less than great waitresses, but they usually are not there long. I think the owner struggles a little with hireng, training, and .managing servers. The long term severs always offer consistently excellent service.
It was great to get back and enjoy lunch at one of my favorite RVA eateries yesterday! As usual, the place was busy, but the service was friendly and attentive, and my crab corn chowder, sailor sandwich and fries hit the spot for my hankering for a good, hot meal on a cold winter day!

As always - fast & friendly service! Delish Dishes. I used to be a server there (many moons ago) and the patrons are just as friendly...it's like a neighborhood CHEERS!
We came in to eat last night around 9 o'clock after my husband's graduation. We had a larger party but had no reservation. We were seated in a private room where we were able to talk, relax and enjoy a lovely dinner. Our waitress was very nice and our food was very tasty! My out of town family said it was, a must eat there again when they visited place. Thank you for a wonderful evening!
Awesome grilled chicken sandwich and sweet potato fries! I have frequented Melitos many times and have never been disappointed.

Great Food,and Service,was there 2 times last week for lunch and 1 time for Dinner with Doreen and Becca.always busy,the staff is awersome.

I know that Malito’s has been a staple in the west end for a very long time but this was the first time we ever went there. It was fabulous. I had the 2 chili dog meal and they reminded me of being a kid again. My son had the club sandwich which was easily 2 meals worth of food. Beer price was a bit high but otherwise it was a great place to go and we will be back.
I had one of their famous hot dogs. Chili was a little dry but overall very good. We had about 10 people ordering a variety of food and all very good. Salads, fish sandwich, pork tenderloin, etc.
Great local bar 🍸 and grill. Cozy relaxed atmosphere with good food. Service is fantastic! The Flat Iron steak was better than perfect!!!!
Classic American diner. Been around forever but a positive change has happened with the service
I went with 2 other people for lunch. 2 of us got one hot dog and fries with different condiments. Those were really really good. The third person got a plain burger. She said it was good until about half way through it started tasted like onions were mixed in and she couldn't eat it. Her hands smelled like onions. Hot dogs great! I will be back for those. Not the hamburgers.
I tried the hotdogs, they were good, the worlds best, not sure but still good. Nice atmosphere, and I will go back to try other items.
Great service with great food. My dad and I went to one of his fav places, Melito's. He has been eating here for a long time.
We were seated quickly and our server was timely & friendly. He ordered the Crab Cake Sandwich with fries and I got the Rueben with fries. Cold beers.
All in it was reasonably priced. I didn't pay but my dad didn't complain, so it had to be reasonably priced.
Lunch experience was overall great. Promptly seated, fast and friendly service. Waitress frequently made sure everything was up to par. Straight forward menu and ordering process. Food didn’t take long to come out and was overall excellent. Highly recommended.
Very nice waitress; small amount of seating available outside ! Seems to be a nice bar area w/ locals . Cheap rail vodka 😩🤮( . They could do much better in that arena .) good Rueben sandwiches. Overall nice local place for very casual meal !
Loved everything about Melito's. Varied menu satisfied our differing desires for the day! Service was fast and my friend's coffee was continually refilled !!

The hot dog plate was ok, had better & had worse. The star of the day was the chicken salad special. Server was excellent.
I eat here a lot with my family. We all love it. Food is always good and service is fast. Great local place to eat.
This is a good old Staple in Richmond. Stop here for lunch every so often, lunchtime can get a little busy. They have great daily specials. The food is usually very well prepared and you get pretty good portions. The world famous hot dog, I don't know if it's actually world famous, being kind of a hot dog snob I do like it, it's a great little lunch item. They always have good french fries and salads. They have a little bar you can take a seat at a couple of TVs to watch some local sports or programming. A little area out front just outside. If you're in the area I don't think you can go wrong stopping here for lunch or dinner.

Met friends here and the food was as good as I remember that Greek Salad is the bomb with a famous hot dog on the side of course !
My son and I stopped in for a quick dinner. I enjoyed the Reuben recommended by our server. My son had a plain hot dog, which he said was good, but I think I remember feeling the price was a little steep for a hot dog. Not a big deal, though, I'm supportive in general. Our server was super nice and the atmosphere was lively. It's a tightly packed setup though so if you don't like that, just be aware.
Local place that satisfies the local crowd that’s older in the area. Hot dogs are top notch. Good alcohol selection.
My husband loves the hotdogs with chili. My favorite is the summer salad with salmon. Yum!
