Many reviews had so many negative posts,I was afraid to attend this place with my family. Would we get enough food, respect from staff, have to wait long to eat, ect.? All the above surpassed our expectations plus more!!. Friendly staff and a fun manager that knows how to get things done.( as I watched him take out every single bucket from the window)The buckets full of flavor ..mine with just butter/garlic-but 2 family members of mine asked for magic dust and it definitely was magic( their mouths !)All you kept hearing was Mmm. It was my 33rd birthday and even had my birthday sung by all the staff! Along with free cheesecake. Hell yea haha. Look guys I came there hearing you don’t get enough food , so some of us over ordered. I thought the prices were correct in what you’re receiving. If you want all you can eat crab legs go to Captain George and wait at some buffet.Whether it’s the new manager with new staff. Give it a try before you judge with this new turnaround. We received upmost respect, and love. Best 33rd birthday! I will never forget. Ps some idiots said they don’t give free crackers for crabs when they do! Gooooo Crustaceans!! worked so hard for change and it worked for us.

Tried the magic dust with clams, shrimp, and snow crab and it was full of flavor. A little too spicy for my son so we ordered snow crab legs prepared with lemon pepper and garlic butter, which was also really tasty..

The service was slow. There was only one waitress. Food was ok. The fried oysters were bland . Taste like they came straight from the ocean to the grease. I had Coops Combo which was well seasoned, just something about them shrimp made me not eat them. House of love was good.

Very satisfying!!! This is the place where you want to be if you love seafood. You can order individual type of seafood by weight at a market price, or you can choose from the Preset Buckets. Deep in the Ocean was one of the choices. There were six of us, we end up ordered five Deep in the Ocean with 1/2 lb. Dungeness Crab, 1/2 lb. Snow Crab, 1/2 lb. Shrimp, and 1/2 lb. Mussels. We each chose our own seasoning and the spiciness. The seafood was boiled in a bag with your choice of seasoning and complimentary corn, pork sausage, and baby red potato pieces. My mom and I shared a bag and we still had five pieces of shrimps left. However my husband finished everything in his bag and was very stuffed. I loved the mussels and thought the shrimp tasted rubbery and didn’t like the fact that the shrimp poop was not cleaned out before cooking. The seafood was very fresh and season was perfect. I highly recommend this restaurant. Please note that service fee will be added to the bill automatically for table of five or more. After tax and tip, the bill was $200+. Not a cheap meal for sure.

Absolutely love this place :) The server was the sweetest. The seasoning and its spice levels are one of best in town. We always feel welcome and love trying new things on their menu

Seems like a Mom and Pop run place. Pretty average prices for their type of seafood. Our waiter was nice, but a little scatterbrained. Forgot our hush puppy order, that he blamed on take out orders, did bring us some near the end of our meal. Kept forgetting to bring us a water, when we asked as well, but just a couple of minor things. Thought the food was cooked pretty good, all was pretty tasty. We got some boils with their homemade seasoning. Been twice and always seems to be a wait, so be prepared.

This is such a vibe..... our waitress was super friendly and super attentive! The food was amazing the drinks definitely were strong, I thought the atmosphere was just so welcome and! My fiance and I are of the lgbtq+ community and we definitely did not feel uncomfortable. We also saw quite a few like-minded people and the facility. The music was great it was just a very nice cool place to just have dinner and relaxing so welcomed! So I'll definitely be going back there!

OUTSTANDING CUSTOMER SERVICE! First, "Thank You," TRACY, for providing outstanding service during our first visit to Crustacean Boil N' Grill! TRACY made us feel like her personal, honored VIP guests! She was friendly, very caring and provided professional, customer-focused service throughout our dinner. Because of the excellent service we received from TRACY and the DELICIOUS hot food (fries, oysters, etc.), we will be back!!

Excellent food, great service. Everything tasted great but the shrimp were the best to me. The spicy stuff was seriously hot and I am a fan of spicy foods Update Sept 2018 my favorite new order is to just get 2 lbs of shrimp and ask to double up on the susage, potatoes and corn. Also I get he entry level heat which is just the right amount of spice.

I loved this place! The staff is very attentive and really helps explain the menu. I got the magic dust seasoning on my seafood and it was really good. They did say it has the kick of Texas Pete but I would argue it's more mild than that. I did wish they put more potatoes in the bag but that's okay. Also, the hush puppies are worth the extra money! Nevertheless this place is really tasty and it's a rare find in this area!

Our dining experience was excellent. The food was delicious. The waitress Tia was very knowledgeable and assisted us with our selection. The restrooms were very clean. This was a unique dining experience. They also have military discount.

We arrived with no reservation on a Saturday @ 7pm. We were seated in 10 minutes. Which was fast. Ordered the Whole Rowe which was HEAVILY seasoned. HMD sauce, a combination of the three main sauces was a surprise. We were "elbows up" the entire meal. My wife and I enjoyed every minute of it. That 5th star is for when they relocate the tv to the bar which is oddly placed in the dining area. Pricing is a bit high in comparison to similar restaurants. But overall, it's worth a visit?

I think there was only one person manning the front of the house. However, she managed to keep everyone happy. The food was good, I shared The Whole Rowe, and it was satisfying. Next time I think I'll have my seafood grilled or broiled

I absolutely love it here. This was my first time coming and please believe It won’t be my last. My husband and I have been in Virginia for a short amount of time as you can tell from previous reviews and we have complained about every seafood places because it is not what we are used to. However, CBG is definitely what we are used to. My server was so kind (can’t remember his name- but he was y’all with long sandy brown hair). I ordered the shrimp and snow crab legs with the magic dus and an additional 1 lb of crab legs with magic dust and entry level(additional spice)-omg talk about perfect flavor! I love spicy food but the entry level isn’t even needed because the magic dust is a perfect blend by its self !!!!! My husband got the Shrimp, crab legs and an additional 1/2 lb of snow crab legs and 1 lobster tail. Honestly, the only complaint we had was how small the lobster tail was for $16. However, I love the seafood in a bag because the food is extra flavorful. The sweet tea is very delicious as well. My two kids shared a crab leg and shrimp combo and we also ordered French fries and chicken fingers. Our bill came to nomore than $150. I ended up taking my additional orders home because we were definitely full. I am so glad we found CBG, it definitely is well worth it. Other reviews stated the size of the restaurant was small but it really isn’t, it’s a very good size but they get crowded quickly. We called and made reservations for 1:00pm and although we didn’t have to wait, it was still relevantly busy. There are signs outside the establishment which also advise reservations so be mindful before you go.

Cajun style seafood boils are what this place is about. You can choose your spice level and the standard sauces are tasty. I was annoyed by how many mussels in our two bags were not opened, making them inedible. I would say about 15% of them were not open, meaning they weren't boiled enough, or already dead before they were cooked. I would avoid the mussels in the future, but they are standard in many of the pre-set bags. It was a busy Sunday, so it did take us a while to get our bill, but we didn't have to wait too long to get our food.

I only had the snow crab legs and shrimp ut it was so good. I'm the type of person that has to be in the mood for seafood but the food here is good to me, I ate there every weekend. If you like seafood with seasonings or even if you dont, you can dial the seasonings down, but it's so good. The waitress/waiters I had there were nice to me. Didnt have a bad experience at all.

Love the mixture of spices in the seafood bags. They have the best, juiciest corn!! Wish they put at least 2pcs of corn and potatoes in the bags especially if you dont eat pork sausage.

Had an awesome experience there. Love the food especially their house magic dust that goes perfectly with the shrimps and crab legs! The environment and the service are great too. Would definitely recommended!
