A hidden gem! We went for dinner on a Friday. It was crowded but service was quick. You order at the front and the bring it out to you. The prices were more than fair. Lots of good beer and wine options. I had the fish taco and the steak taco and they were both good. The horchata was also awesome. If you like Mexican food, you'll love this place!

Like the other reviews say, this place is in a random location but the fish tacos are amazing. It’s really nicely decorated inside too and would be great for a big group but it’s also good if you’re just two people. I had a fish taco and a carnitas taco, I liked the fish one best. The chips and salsa were good too, and plenty for two people. We came on taco Wednesday and the 2$ taco deal is amazing! The tacos are packed, even when it’s not taco Wednesday they would be a great deal. I want to come back and try the breakfast on Saturday sometime!

We went here, while visiting and it happened to be vegan day, so all vegan items were 25% off. I had an awesome taco salad and my boyfriend had a burrito. We also had the vegan carnitas. The food was so good that I kept eating, even though I was full! The bar tender was friendly and was the only one working, but he was able to handle all the customers himself. There's plenty of space for big groups and it's family-friendly. They had some good beers on tap, too. I'd definitely recommend this place to anyone! They also have locations in Virginia Beach and Norfolk.

Pelon's is one of my favorite spots to go for burritos and tacos. As a born and raised Californian I find it is very difficult to impress me when it comes to burritos and tacos. While Pelon's isn't necessarily legit Latin American food, it is the closest I've found to Baja California style fish tacos other than cooking them myself. My staple is the Unemployed Surfer burrito, and I'm never disappointed. Simple and delicious. Give it a try!

This place was awesome. Tried a sampler of their tacos, and the fish taco might be the best fish taco in Richmond. Drinks seemed reasonably priced too. Kind of a weird location, but the vibe inside is awesome and relaxed.

The only problem I can say about this place is weird location, but it’s still only 5 mins from the house in Ginter Park. We really enjoyed our carnitas tacos and queso. The margarita was also well made and not super sweet but a nice mild tart. Perfect little hidden gem!

The food was Delicious and on point. Service was great too! Prices were reasonable. I like the fact they have vegan/ vegetarian options. It did remind me of baja Californian food.

Very good tacos. I had the carnitas, chorizo, shrimp, and carne asada. The tacos are not very spicy but plenty of sauces to cure that. $2 tacos and domestics on Wednesday night makes for a great cheap night out.

Had some of the best fish tacos I've ever had. Great happy hour specials, definitely worth a visit. They have tons of specials, a great happy hour and delicious beers. The place is a little hard to spot unless you know what you're looking for so be on the lookout for the blue awning.

Only been here once so far, but it was fantastic. Staff was friendly, service was fast and the food was good. I'm not that familiar with Baja style Mexican food but this was certainly different from most of the other taco joints around town. My partner got the asada burrito and it was packed with meat and no rice to speak of. They also offer vegan/vegetarian options for almost all of their menu items. I look forward to going back soon!
