Really nice little spot in the downtown Richmond area. We were a table of 4 adults and 2 kids. Adults all ordered Old Fashions and they were very good. The server was awesome very attentive knowledgeable about bourbons and suggested some for us. I had the smoked duck with grits and it was smoked perfectly. Wife had the hot honey fried chicken and she said it was great. The smoked baby back ribs were also ordered and enjoyed. This would be a five star review if they would have had everything on the menu. They were out of cheese so we could not try the Mac and Cheese which we had heard great reviews about. Because of the cheese being out of stock there were a couple dishes we could not try. Other that that overall great experience will definitely be back!
Fantastic restaurant and bar. This place is for the whiskey amateur all the way to the enthusiast. We (as a group of all women) couldn’t have asked for a better experience. We tried some bucket list whiskeys and tried some suggestions from the staff that were on point.
Fantastic owner and staff. The food was impeccable from BBQ to the salad.
We will be back as soon as possible.

YESSS this place was AWESOME! Super cozy and comfortable interior with warm lighting and western film posters on the walls. Our server was super nice and told us about some cool exhibits in the museum of fine arts nearby.
Most importantly, the food was absolutely delicious--sweet potato fries were perfectly crisp and not too sweet, the burger was juicy and packed with flavor. Definitely recommend this place if you're looking for a bite to eat around here!
I love going to McCormack Whiskey Grill every time I visit Richmond. From the moment I walk in, I feel the great atmosphere. Nostalgic neighborhood bar. The whiskey selection is impressive, catering to both connoisseurs and rookies.

The bartenders were incredibly knowledgeable about the whiskeys and bourbons. They will personally help tailor a drink to your taste. I would definitely recommend for someone getting into whiskeys!
Great food and service. The only upsetting thing was- ginger ale delivered as 1/4 ginger ale, 1/4 water and 2/4s ice (might be off on exact measurements but it definitely tasted more water than ginger ale).
Anyway, great place and would definitely recommend to visit.
Super impressed. Went in there knowing nothing about whiskey and left with a full stomach and new knowledge of whiskey. Food was amazing. They have a magic touch with the brussel sprouts.
Didn't eat but my hubby and our friend sampled a lot and the bartender was really knowledgeable while helping them choose what kinds to try.

Food was amazing. Nick, our bartender was like no one I’ve ever seen before. His knowledge of whiskey was great. He was able to recommend the best. And he was very professional! We were very impressed with him! Clean, welcoming, and all that you can ask for!!
Awesome. The bacon wrapped dates were awesome as was the smoked duck breast. The bartender was also our server and made an amazing old fashioned cocktail. Great atmosphere. Huge selection of whiskies. Not a fan of Richmond but am of this place. BEST duck I've ever had.
