My husband and I ordered the trio meal. Brisket, ribs, and wings with Mac and cheese and collards. We also added peach cobbler. Everything was delicious. Lastly, we ordered take out and gratuity was added, I've never heard of such, nor did the female taking our order mentioned it to us beforehand. I don't mind tipping when dining in, but tipping just to pick up is crazy. Nevertheless, I'll do it over as long as the food consistency is good. 👌🏽
Pig & Brew has an excellent barbeque sandwich and delicious drinks! We came here on a weekday during lunch and service was very fast! We ordered the lunch special of the Bbq sandwich and fries and also enjoyed an extra side of Mac and Cheese. The portions were large and great for the price! We got to go rum punches which were dangerously good.
Went on a Friday evening for dinner and it was busyy. Definitely recommend making a reservation if you go on the weekend. The food was tasty and everything was seasoned well. Also didn’t take long for the food to come out. My only complaints were the fries weren’t hot when served, and it was very loud inside, probably because of how small the place was and how packed it was.
2 of my friends an i decided to check them out Saturday evening. We sat at the bar ordered food and drinks. The staff was friendly. The music was nice. Not to loud like some places. I had pork bbq sliders and hillbilly fries(loaded with cheese and chicken)! It was really good. The coleslaw was delicious i actually ate it by it's self. It was homemade and seasoned really well. The bartender was the bomb. She made the best Lemon Drops ever!! We will definitely be going back.
My daughter suggested Pig and Brew for Brunch. The Brunch menu, while a bit limited, was diverse enough for our party of four. Choices in the group ranged from the sampler, which consisted of eggs, a choice of breakfast meats, house potatoes, and toast, a chicken and bacon sandwich, and shrimp with grits. The quality of the food was excellent and the staff were friendly and helpful. I would suggest making a reservation as there is limited table space and they can fill up fast due to the restaurants popularity.
We ate at Pig & Brew today in Richmond. It was absolutely scrumptious! I got the lunch special which was a shredded meat sandwich (chicken or pork), the crispiest fries I've had in a while, and cole slaw with a pleasant, homemade taste. The mac & cheese was soft and cheesy. Yum! The waitress was stunning. Surprisingly so. (I know that doesn't matter in restaraunt reviews, but it's what I recall most about her.) She seemed to have a 6th sense about when we needed her. She was attentive and personable. The prices were fair and the portions were generous. I'd recommend this place to anyone at any time.
I listened to the hype about this place and unfortunately it was ruined for me. I was expecting AHHHHMazing and got “decent for it to being in a ok location”. We ordered the ribs, collards, macaroni and cheese, BBQ pulled chicken sandwich and fries. The best item out of all, was the fries. Now they were great compared to everything else. The consistency of the chicken sandwich didn’t look appetizing but it was edible. Overall, the food was decent. The cocktails we ordered to go were EH. Will I return and rave to other foodies? Uh, I doubt it but if I’m craving some bomb fries, I’ll be back.
We loved this place! The brisket was so tender and moist. We also got pulled pork, the fried fish sandwich, fries, Mac and cheese, and cold slaw. Just overall loved. Got a couple beers on tap. The prices were so reasonable and loved the atmosphere. I believe Ariss was our server and she was awesome. Attentive and kind! Will definitely be back when visiting Richmond.
The food was simply delicious. We had BBQ sliders and loaded fries. The lemon drops were awesome, I've never had one that tasted so delicious and I told the bartender.
What can I say. Every thing peeled off. The brisket would just shred of the fork trying to pick it up. Cobbler was creamy sweet, not candy sweet. Definitely coming back.
Went here for brunch on a Sunday. It was packed, which is never a bad thing. The customer service was on point, I honestly think that was their biggest point because when it gets busy like that , customer service can go down. The DJ was really good so if you don't mind noise, that was a plus. We got seated fairly quickly. Food wise, eh. The grits were bland and bit crunch in some bites. The fried fish was seasoned and cooked well though. I will be back for the actual BBQ part of the menu.
