This is like the best place in Virginia not only the salvsdorian /Hispanic food its amazing, but the costumer service too, it may take a little while to get food on weekends because they are super busy, but it is worth the wait every minute! Most recommended, best pupusas in town!

I've been wanting to try this place for a while and finally stopped in today. I had three tacos: asada, pastor, and tripa. All three were incredibly delicious! I ordered to-go so I could get back to work, and they packed the order with sauce, cilantro and onions, radishes, cucumbers, and limes. Who could ask for more? After taking a good look at everything else on the menu I will be back soon and often.

OMG! Best food I have had in a long time! I got three tacos: beef, pork, and tongue! They were all fantastic. I think I could eat here every day!

Enjoyed several different types of pupusas here...cheese, pork, beans. All of them were delicious. Ordered ahead which helped a lot with the wait time. Would eat here again.

Food and service was excellent. I knew the quality was going to be good as my father and I were the only white people there and the place was packed! Seriously good quality food tucked away in little shack. Do yourself a flavor and come in here and check it out. I had the three tacos (carne asada, tripe, and tongue). My father had the fajitas with chicken steak and shrimp. We were both completely satisfied with our meals and will be returning. Edit: I have returned, and this place will keep its five star review. Be warned though, there will be a slight language barrier, and it does take a while for the food to come, but it is definitely worth it.

Papusas are very good here. I also liked the horchata, but the service wasn't as good as the food. I will call in a to go order from now on.

I ate pupusas from there 5 stars. Speed 3 stars and if you phone in your order in advance make sure you give them an easy name because they will write anything and they will not find your order.

I enjoyed the food, but it was very disorganized when I entered. I was unsure which line to get in to order food. It was crowded and took a long time for the food to be prepared. I was glad that I can speak some Spanish, because I don't know if anyone spoke English. I will definitely try it again because the food was very good.

Authentic Honduran food. I enjoyed the pauses. The service was a tad slow and no one speaks much English but the atmosphere is fun and genuine. Their menu is huge! Wasn't sure what to order at first because of the size. My Spanish is rusty so it was hard to ask questions. Everything is made in house though.

Pupusas here are very delicious, soft. ...But I think the place might be cleaner. Chairs were with someone's greasy fingerprints. Plus I always think about the cabbage for pupusas in those big jars: It looks like nobody changes it after previous visitors... If the owner will read this - please, improve the cleanliness of the place and use smaller containers for the cabbage, in portions on each plate.

Really good Mexican food. One of the best carne asada burritos I have found on the east coast, and I am picky about my Mex food being from San Diego, CA, and living in New Mexico and Texas for 2.5 years. The chicken taquitos are good too, I just wish they had beef. Their hot sauce is ok and their service is slow due to understaffing, but their food is good.

My favorite place around Richmond to get authentic Mexican food. I will drive 30 minutes and pass several Mexican restaurants just to go here. It takes a little while but so worth the wait.

This restaurant is great. If you want authentic mexican food this is the place to go. I am white and only know a few words of Spanish and I still get great service. I spoke to several south American people in richmond were I should go to get real south American food and they all said go to tako nako. They told me to stay away from tex mex restaurants. They said tex mex was garbage and trash. They said tex mex was not the same. When you go to tako nako you will not be disappointed.

Food is always delicious, can take some time to get your order though, and be prepared to order in Spanish.

Very authentic, but felt out of place. Food was very good but not great. Hard to understand the waitress, again, very authentic. Great adventure food and you will probably leave with a good story for you friends.
