The Food was simply amazing, took a while for it to come out.
The ladies who are running the floor, should all have on uniforms and hair nets, it’s a wonderful business, but let’s pull together and look, according to how you want people to be welcomed into your restaurant it helps to keep the morale up. When you look good, you feel good and people don’t mind coming into your establishment and eating. The first impressions are very important.
Nice clean place in downtown Richmond. Food excellent. Large southern soul menu. Service can be leisurely sometimes, but overall, highly recommended.
Love this place! One block from the state capital building. Great brunch menu for the wknd. I had the “Cherish the Day,” which included French toast & bacon. You can choose pork or turkey bacon. I went with the turkey bacon & was not disappointed. It was excellent, as was the French toast. Real maple syrup is standard, but there are two upgrades to choose from. I went with the maple bourbon syrup for a $2 upcharge. It was worth it! The restaurant offers a full bar and Coke products. There is a sign on the wall that says “We don’t do Boogee,” and I for one appreciate that! I am so tired of Boogee food. Give me down home any day! Single stall restroom was clean. Staff were friendly & helpful. It is downtown, so good luck with the parking. Highly recommend.
Best chicken & waffles I've ever had! Great dining experience, fantastic food, I recommend to everyone! The location can't be beat, nice art across the street and a short walk to other great sites, including the capital building. I even walked across the river (on a bridge, of course 😅) to Legends Brewing once, but I can't say I'd recommend it on a hot day if you have to get to work later. The heat/humidity & steady breeze increased my hair volume by probably 500%! Coworkers thought I just spent $$$ at the salon, so maybe it wasn't that bad of an idea after all. 💈 I was so worried about this small business making it through 2020, and I am SO happy they are still open. I will stop in as often as I can. Live jazz is always a good vibe, if you can get a table. 😎🥃
My first time visiting for brunch was amazing!
The staff was very friendly & attentive. They have an amazing menu with many options & creative meal names. Mimosas were tasty although I wasn’t a fan of the alcohol choice and there are no other options.
Their belgian waffle has the perfect taste & texture. The home fries are THE BOMB & they season them without salt.
My only complaint is the benches in the booths were very unconfirmed. Will be back soo!
The waitress was friendly and knowledgeable. The food was good but I would have preferred more seasoning on the chicken.
Had a couple mimosas and a waffle, I had a great time reading the menu I thought it was really fun the names of each meal. The atmosphere was really nice too and the nice lady that took our order was very friendly as well. The food took a little while but it was worth it.
The food here is excellent. I had the Bustin Loose Chicken Tenders (Spicy)w Waffle.
Dill sauce and Maple Bourbon Syrup. Great service and nice clean place.
Amazing food and great service! Novice was an amazing server, super helpful with suggestions and very friendly. I thoroughly enjoyed my time and food at maple bourbon! Consider pitchers of mimosas- enjoyed my mimosa glass but would love a pitcher deal!
We really enjoyed our experience this morning. The staff was very nice and friendly. The baked chicken was the star of my meal. The chicken was so juicy and was seasoned well. I will definitely be back and telling all my family and friends.

There is a lot of love on this dream that someone made it true with hard work. The wait is long but they warn you it will be, since everything is make to order. Trust me : it will be Worth the wait
The servers were professional, friendly, respectful handle their busyness with a smile (my only observation is that they can organize themselves to work more smoothly, but they did try and that is an A for Effort) place was clean and inviting, we love the food, main reason we went, so based just on that is 100 out of 10! EXCELLENT:. Portions were perfect, seasoned right, they were sure to check the order to get it right and they did! , a great combination between atmosphere, services and food. Love the support to local artists by displaying their work! Awesome Place with southern hospitality and soul comfort food
It was pretty good. The waffle with fresh strawberries was delicious. The home fries needed some seasoning, but they were a good portion. We got the maple bourbon syrup to try and the regular syrup. The maple bourbon was a bit too strong for our taste, but the regular syrup was really good. Overall, would return and I think try lunch.
We are back.. love this place. Cool place, food was good. Waitress was very sweet and fast. Worth a visit to see , chicken and waffles is the thing to get
Loved it. The waffle is perfect and my husband had the stone grits. They were amazing. I appreciate the fact they use cage free eggs and recyclable straws.
And I don’t know why people are so mad at the signs. They are hilarious and anyone offended is probably guilty.
Last, our server was a sweetie. We live around the block and will def go again.
