My favorite plate of food in RVA comes from Shawarma Shack. I dream of it. Nothing in town is as delicious. Here is what to order. It is not on the menu this way so pay close attention and order it just like i tell you. It's so delicious you might cry. OK so first ask for the fish shawarma platter. Substitute hummus for french fries. You do not need the fries. You DEFINITELY need your hummus. Ask for extra oil on your hummus. Order an extra pita. It it so delicately chewy and warm and delicious that you will be glad you paid .50 for an extra. OK the fetoosh salad comes with it. OMG you are gonna go slam off when you have fetoosh. It is crisp fresh lettuce, tomato (get extra), olives, freshly chopped cucumber chunks, parsley, seasoned onions, toasted pita crumbles, oil and herbs. Delish. OK now...the star of the platter...the two beautiful white fish filets breaded in panko and fried to melt in your mouth perfection. Oh yes make sure you ask for a little cup of extra mint leaves and a little cup of garlic sauce, tahini and shack sauce. Now you're all set. I get mine to go but eating in is lovely also. Get a pot of Lebanese tea with mint and sit on the hookah sideo of the restaurant while your food is being prepared. It is a sexy little lounge that's oh so very chill. When your order is ready, say give thanks for this insanely amazing food I am about to devour. Always be thankful especially when it's this delish. You are about to have a great day. So tear off some pita, break off some fish, make a little parcel with fetoosh salad inside, add a mint leaf, dip in hummus and any sauce (I love the garlic sauce best). Enjoy Shawarma Shack. I just laugh and say that since his menu is this excellent, true foodies will find him no matter what. Enjoy your plate! PEACE.

We ordered the chicken shawarma sandwich. The taste is similar to the real thing. The chicken is well cooked but the bread was a little dry. Overall this place is really close to VCU which makes it the best option for a Lebanese cuisine without having to drive. The staff were helpful and polite and the order came out fast. Price is not a lot in comparison to other Lebanese places. overall OK.

delicious shawarma. i love their garlic condiment. so tasty! the place is not so clean for me but i came to taste their food. restrooms are on the other side of the vicinity. a club/bar. not sure if same owner.

My friend and I went there today and they were super friendly! Food was very good, loved the beef/lamb shawarma. I only ordered the shawarma and my friend ordered a combo. She shared her small fries and they were more than enough for the both of us. I will definitely be coming back.

I've been here a few times and ordered from here through Uber Eats a few times as well. When I first came here, I didn't think much of the shawarmas, but once I tried the Spicy Chicken Tawook shawarma, this place immediately became a priority! The tawook sauce along with the mix of garlic and with a tiny kick to it, just makes for an amazing shawarma! The fries, on the other hand, are not as consistent. They're very good, but I've had them more than once where they were a bit too soft instead of the crispiness I prefer. I even had the curly fries one time, and they were just burnt. Regardless, the fries are a mere side, it's the shawarma you come here for! The service is pretty quick and the workers are always really nice.

The food us always great and there's nothing better than placing an order online and having it ready by the time I drive a few blocks to get there. Easily the best Shawarma I've had.
