Stayed for a conference in adjoining space. Location is a block and a half from a fairly vibrant shopping district with restaurants and shopping/ entertainment. Rooms are updated and spacious. Beds are comfy and firm. Staff was super friendly and helpful. Pretty good sized gym area. Didn't eat at hotel but enjoyed coffee at the little cafe/bar around corner in lobby each morning. Venue was also a nice conference center.

I recently had the pleasure of staying at your hotel, and overall, it was a delightful experience. The front desk staff was notably friendly and professional, providing clear explanations for hold charges and parking fees during check-in. The masquerade ball in one of your conference rooms was a visually stunning event, and the servers were commendably accommodating. Our room was generously spacious, featuring a king-size bed, a couch, and a luxuriously appointed bathroom with a rain effect shower head. However, I must share a concern about the bed's comfort, particularly for someone like me recovering from back procedures. Unlike my experiences at other Marriott locations, the bed, couch, and chair in this particular establishment weren't as supportive and comfortable. On a positive note, your hotel offers a range of amenities that enhance the overall experience. The availability of breakfast, a well-equipped gym, and other facilities contributed to the enjoyment of our stay. Moreover, the hotel's convenient location within walking distance to various restaurants, the metro (train), and accessible city buses added to its appeal. I appreciate your attention to this feedback and hope that future visitors can enjoy an even more comfortable stay. Thank you for your hospitality, and I look forward to continued stays with Marriott.

Stayed here several times and the staff is always top-notch. The hotel is well maintained the rooms are well maintained. Inside of the elevators could use a little attention but otherwise feel it's nicely decorated. At the hotel restaurant is fabulous I sort of bartender food is very good. I also love the m club at this location. Their stuff are polite the service provided in the M club it's wonderful. Excellent quality food and beverages. Just a nice space away from everyone and everything to relax quietly have a soda or a coffee and decompress at the end of your day or to work through the last few paperwork. Thank you for this space!!

My son went here for an educational travel experience. The rooms were nice and clean, except for a faint stain in the shower, other than that, the rooms were nicely set and done. Housekeeping came by when his tour group left, and did all the beds, without tampering with personal items. The hotel breakfast buffet was very good and nice as well.

Very nice Marriott hotel especially with the conference room and venue. Rooms are nice, service is friendly and food is good. Located at walking distance from convenient shops and great restaurants with tons of options from fast food to wonderful Brazilian meat place. As it is in Maryland, it is not close to DC, but not too far either to connect using the red line if you want to play the tourist.

Especially considering that the hotel was completely booked because of a conference, the staff was super helpful and friendly. Again, despite the hotel being sold out, our room was not just comfortable, but also completely quiet at night. The location, just a block away from a subway station, allowed us to easily go into D.C. to visit our favorite art museums on our last day in town. A great experience!

My room was clean, but I could hear too much from the adjacent rooms. The bed was too stiff for my liking, but there wasn't anything inherently wrong with it. Service in the hotel and conference center was fast and very friendly, although language barriers resulted in receiving incorrect items occasionally. Lastly, this hotel is disappointingly far from all the major airports. Overall, this hotel isn't bad, but there are a few marginal things that could improve my impression.

Love this hotel! I always get the king corner rooms for their floor to ceiling windows. The lady at the little market (not the restaurant) is literally the SWEETEST!! She has been there every morning I've stayed in the last 2 years and she makes my day every time. She is the highlight of an already fantastic hotel.

Teeter between Platinum and Titanium, currently platinum. Stayed at this location for 2 nights. First room I received on 8th floor was gross, dirty floor and hair in the bed under the sheets. Immediately went back down stairs, Glenn made it right. New room and comped us a few things. New room was clean, no issues. Rooms are a 3, Service is a 5, Location is a 4.

I had the pleasure of staying at the North Marriott Hotel and Conference Center the week before Thanksgiving. This was a vacation to DC for my wife and I. I typically stay at Marriott locations when available due to the normally reliable quality and service. This location DID NOT disappoint. Pros: 1. Room - Believe we were in room 860. Plenty of space in the room for an extended stay. The beds are mildly firm (I actually prefer a little more firm). The Internet was fast and I was able to connect my firestick to the TV (hit and miss with Marriott lately). Bathroom was clean and we loved the shower. Larger than the typical tub\shower and excellent pressure. Great view out the window as well. Overall, the room was clean, comfortable and well decorated. 2. Location. Plenty of places to eat within walking distance. Make sure you check out the Pike and Rose area. Very Nice. If in a hurry, there is a McDonald's right across the street and a small shopping center right beside it. 3. Metro: The North Bethesda Red Line stop is just a few mins walk from the hotel. Since we were in town to see the sites, this was a must for us. 4. Service: From the time we checked in to the time we checked out, Service was OUTSTANDING. Was always greeted with a smile and when I had questions they were prompt to respond. 5. Parking: Yes, some people might list this as a negative. But I found their nightly parking rate reasonable ($19 per night as of November 2023). I actually selected a rate that had parking included. Make sure you look for that if you decide to drive. During the week, there appeared to be ample parking, but we did notice on the weekend it did get near max capacity. Cons: 1. No breakfast included. Not even the standard American Breakfast you get at most hotels. No coffee either. All was available, but came at an additional cost. I did a lot of research before selecting this location for our stay. Again, great location, fair price, and a very nice upscale hotel. Some people may want to stay a little closer to the main DC area. But we prefer to stay a little further out by choice to avoid some of the crowds. You can get to all the key museums and sites in ~40 mins via the metro. Highly recommend!

This hotel has excellent accommodations. It is a short walk from the rail station. The front desk staff are friendly (shout out to Emmanuel Yeboah) and knowledgeable about the area giving recommendations for food etc. A short walking distance from the hotel are tonnes of food options as well as shops. The rooms are clean, spacious, and comfortable. Comfort is key after a long day of meetings. The meeting rooms are also nice and the catered food was excellent. I highly recommend this hotel. They have a fitness room with plenty of work out equipment and an on-site restaurant. I was pleased with my stay!

This marriott is a very nice property and looks to be a newer one. We stayed there on our visit to DC and would like to stay again. We hope the service is improved though. The lobby is huge and very well maintained, room was nice and clean, M-lounge for elite members is also bigger and very well appointed. I wish the front desk would be more courteous, he did not tell us about the location of elevators or the lounge. The person working in M-lounge seemed bored with her job and when asked for fruit bowl refill, she never checked back with us. I have come to expect much better service standards with Marriott.

Was there for a conference. Nice place, staff was great. Location? DC traffic and road construction drops that rating; not the hotel's fault. Marriott should have a low-bandwidth free wifi option

I attended an award banquet there. The sound effect and projector are good. The parking for event attendees are not easy to find. The parking garage sign disappeared and no one pick up the call when I dialed the front desk. I was provided an exit card from the overnight parking.

Attended a conference there. The rooms and food were great. I liked that it was within walking distance to restaurants and the Metro Station.
