Never had anything from here I didn't like and the pizza is some of the best in town!
In, out, it's the place to go for food downtown. Part cash, save money. But you just gotta know what you want. Their selection of rooms of the build your own is phenomenal. If you go anywhere else, it could be almost as bad as a war crime
This place has some of the best pizza in Richmond. They have NY Style pizza and Jamaican beef patties 2 of my favorite foods. The service was quick and great. I was in and out within 15 minutes during lunch and didn't phone in my order.
Really cheep pizza and the service is all ways nice you can’t beat their 2 for 20 pizza deal

Solid NY pizza. I tried many in this area and this place nailed the taste of a pizza. I'm surprisingly pleased
The pizza was great I enjoyed three 🍕 while I waited on my ride and had some beer there to wash it down. It's was very cold that day visited like 15 degrees and they didn't mind me staying inside with then until my ride arrived 2 hours later. I loved it.
One of the things I miss most from New York is authentic NYC Pizza. Not anymore though because this place really nails it with an excellent hand-tossed Neapolitan slice. Outstanding!

After reading the mostly harsh reviews I was really on the fence, but it was late last night (10:30pm) and my other place was closed.
I ordered a large cheese pie and added sausage, spinach and mushrooms. For dinner the next night, I went ahead and ordered a calzone with the same toppings as the pizza and added garlic knots for the fun of it.
The order arrived hot and within the hour!
And, not sure who those folks are whining about the quality, but what I got was amazing! Maybe I got lucky, but I am extremely impressed with this place. The quality of everything was better than I've had in a very long time. The pizza and calzone crust (I usually always order thin crust elsewhere) we're so light, airy and crispy on the top and bottom.
The garlic knots were just as light and crispy and OH! so tasty with their garlic seasoning.
All the toppings were fresh and flavorful.
My only regrets were
1. The little amount (3 tbs at best) of garlic sauce (yummy) and marinara you get.
2. They don't offer "extra" or" add on" anything, but I suffered through it. Extra sausage would have rocked!
So, in short... even with the cost, I don't think I'll go back to my "usual" pizza place unless I get a bad order from The Pizza Place.
BTW- no adverse GI issues I get sometimes with my other place.
I urge you to give this place a try if you're getting delivery (GrubHub).
