The service was wonderful. The staff is so friendly. will surely give Cane’s and Zaxby’s a run for their money. Kinda upset that I didn’t order a bigger plate � Chicken and fries were so flavorful and the sauce was top notch

Great food atmosphere and service. The prices are affordable and I have to say it is the best chicken I've ever bought. Much better than canes and chick fil a. It's a must try!!!

I am a Caniac and a Chick-fil-A Devotee, but Slim Chickens gives them a run for their money. I got the 3&3, tenders and the wings and they were both delicious, hot (temperature) and spiced just right. The dipping sauces were the best. Try the ranch. Yummy!!!

This is seriously the best fried chicken around! Very lightly breaded and extremely moist. Today I went into the restaurant with my 10 month old and 3 year old by myself. When trying to pay, I realized that my 3 year old must have taken my credit cards out of my wallet and couldn’t pay �. I was meeting friends and said I would just wait for them to get there so they could pay for me, but they wouldn’t have it - and just gave me my meal for free. WOW! Talk about incredible customer service!

Affordable, excellent food, excellent service, and a wonderful atmosphere. We will definitely be making a trip back soon!

First-rate chicken tenders!! Super fresh, not too greasy either. You could tell it was REAL chicken, like someone had literally cut it off the bone! Drive thru speed was great, for the time of day of my visit. Cost of my food was reasonable. The desserts on the menu looked amazing, though I did not purchase one. Will definitely return!

Imagine Zaxby's but with a slightly different flair. They have salads chicken sandwiches tenders wings and wraps. They also have a great selection of drinks as well as sides and dessert's. if you like your food more salty Zaxby's is the place to go. Slim Chickens taste is a little more refined organic and at home and far less salty. .The customer service was great. Me being a first timer Kimmee at the front counter was very helpful and patient and had answers and an equal amount of suggestions when needed. The ambiance was very nice and a mix of small Mississippi Delta restaurant and family atmosphered low level chicken serving sports grill. Prices were acceptable. Personally felt the dessert jar price was a little high but everything else in range or maybe a little high. But I will definitely eat there again.

OMG!!! Had never heard of the place until we were in Destin. Ate there twice. Googled restaurant and they have one in RIDGELAND!! I've been twice since returning to MS. THE BEST WINGS EVA!!! And that piece of heaven in a jar: the cheesecake jar will make you slap somebody's Mama!!! So long wiNgstOp and buFfalo wild wings.....

Trying out Slim Chicken's in Ridgeland. It was grand opening tonight, the place was about 60% full at 6pm. When entering, you order and pay at the counter. Next you get a number, find a table, and they bring it to you. Your option is to get the wings/tenders coated for you or sauce on the side. I got the 8 wing combo (all combos includes med drink and French fries) $11 + 2 to upgraded to fried mushroom = $13. I got the wings coated in Korean bbq, and a side of garlic sriracha sauce. Second order we got the 5 x 5, five wings, five tenders combo $13 + $1.50 to upgrade to fried okra. Wings coated with garlic parmesan, sauce on the side was mango habanero and sweet chilli. I like my wings with no breading, skin crispy. The cook on the wings and lightly battered tenders were great. Texture and crispness is on point, just how I like them. We were able to try 5 different flavors. Korean bbq, mango habanero, sweet chili, garlic sriracha and garlic parmesan. The 4/5 sauces were very similar, sweet with a kick and Asian inspired. I enjoyed the garlic sriracha the most, I think we just got tired of all the similar taste, it was our first time, so we didn't know what to pick haha The man wasn't a fan, he said the 5 tenders were almost the same size as the wings, I agree they were small. He also didn't like that the breading on his tenders, okra and mushroom had very little taste. The concept of this establishment is in the sauce. It's not meant to be eaten as is, that is why they offer 17 different sauces, so there's one for every pallete. If they season the wings/tenders and then coated/dipped in a sauce, it could be overpowering in taste...so I see where they're going with this. Also he's a Texan and kept saying "That's not Texas toast!" Clean place, roomy with patio seating. Big screens for games, no liquor. Friendly customer service, food came out quick and hot.
