The people who work here are always courteous and polite. I have had the "pay it forward" experience of people paying for my meals ahead of me in line at least 4 times here - which is 4x more than I have at any other McDonald's in the country and I have been to many (prior Army and world traveler). Food is fresh for what it is and the wait time is nonexistent most of the time, even in rush hour. Good job, guys!
We stop here on the way out of Ohio on the drive to the beach every year and it's always one of the nicest Mcdonald's. None of the staff are fighting, nothing is broken, and we get the correct order. This is rare with McDonald's nowadays.
I have never received an incorrect or incomplete order from the Weirton McDonald's. One issue I do have at this location is that more often than not, I am asked to pull forward to wait on my food, even though I typically order 4 items or less.
There are also workers there who do not pay any attention to incoming/outgoing traffic when walking through the parking lot. just yesterday I narrowly avoided hitting 2 young girls that decided to not use the convienent and easily identifiable crosswalk and instead darted out from behind an SUV and directly in front of my car on their way back into the store. Had they simply chosen to cross in a safer, more visible spot (like the conveniently located crosswalk) or signaled that they needed to cross, they could've ensured their own safety and the safety of the customers exiting the drive thru.
Their Ice Cream Machine actually worked! So happy...drove to Florida and back and every McDonalds we stopped at did not have a working ice cream machine.
