So, I believe in second chances, I had originally given this business a low rating based on a very late pizza delivery. I had always enjoyed their pizza but the delivery issue left a bad taste in my mouth(no pun intended). However, today we tried again and the pizza came on time, warm and delicious. We'll continue to patronize this small/local business and enjoy their delicious pizza offerings.
I went here on a rainy Tuesday evening to feed my family of four. I bought a personal pizza with pepperoni and sausage and a bigger pizza, reminds me of a deluxe topping, loaded fries, and jalepeno poppers. We were in heaven. My four year old came home from school the next day requesting his leftovers. The pizza is really good! I am not sure how long it has been there but I live ten minutes away and feel fortunate to have discovered.
I've enjoyed this neighborhood pizza joint so much over the years! They revamped their menu with the change in ownership a couple years ago and its awesome! The BBQ place next door, 250 BBQ, has roared onto the DC BBQ scene and shares in the deliciousness from the smoker out back. Carnitas Nachos?! Yes Please! If you're coming for BBQ and 250 is closed, Dumm's Pizza is right next door! And they have Pizza! You won't be dissapointed!

The restaurant is located in an amazing neighborhood with lots of restaurants around and nice place to take a walk. Coming to the food we got the chicken pesto pizza (5/5) I got it right out of the oven and it was piping hot. It smelled incredible and the taste was great. Needed a pinch of salt on top. The crest was soft and easy to chew and the pesto was great. A decent pizza for two people at a reasonable price. I’ll go again.
