We order food from here way too much. It’s always my go-to for take out nights. The food is so fresh and well cooked. A lot of Chinese food in America can seem processed and similar. But the food from China Chef tastes like home cooking to me. Their WonTon soup is one of my favourite meals from anywhere. I love it!
This is some of my favorite food in the salt lake valley!! I came this afternoon with my boyfriend and one of the workers greeted us immediately and was so kind and patient. the food was great, well priced for the amount of food we received, we will definitely come back more frequently!
We had a large order and they did an amazing job cooking it and packing it up for us. The food tasted so good! All of the containers were labeled and packed tight with Saran Wrap so they wouldn’t leak on our way home. We will definitely be going back again.
This is by far the best Chinese food I’ve ever had. I’ve had this place twice and it’s been absolutely amazing each time and they have great and fast service. My order has been ready early by a few minutes twice now. 10/1 would recommend.

Read both bad and good reviews so thought we'd take a chance. Was a bit surprised how empty it was considering it was 5:45 pm on a Friday. Service was quick and friendly. A bowl of fried wontons and warm sweet/sour sauce. We ordered cream cheese wontons, lemon chicken, cashew chicken, and walnut shrimp. All came within an expected time. Ten to fifteen minutes. Egg drop soup had plenty of egg and tasted very good. Wontons were very delicious. Walnut shrimp dish was very good! Lemon chicken looked like orange chicken but we were assured it was lemon. The chicken was dry and sadly lacked flavor. No lemon flavor at all. Cashew chicken was one of the best I've had. It's usually my dish to decide if I like the place. Wasn't overwhelmed with vegetables. Good flavor and plenty of chicken. The spring rolls that came with the dishes honestly need more flavor. Just didn't cut it. But the flattened shrimp that came with the dishes was crispy and good.
Would we go back? Maybe. Not for the lemon chicken but the others...

6/3/2023 update. I had Hunan Pork today. Pic included. Anytime I am in the area I stop in for a meal. These people are so nice and it's authentic Chinese food. Don't miss a chance to have the Best chinese meal you can have! 😁
One of my favorite places to get Chinese food. Try General Taos. It’s by far the best in town. Usually you get your order in 20-30 min time. At the time of this review it’s drive through only.
I got food to go, it was gas. Ate enough for a family of 3 in one go. Definitely recommend them for your Chinese food fix.

Brought my disabled parents and the staff were beyond helpful with them. Place was clean and food was so delicious. Best we've had in many years other places. Prices are good too.
While I don't enjoy or recommend all of their dishes, the ones I do get and enjoy are very good.
The no longer provide dine in services. Ordering online and picking up is still great. Depending on driving time I'd recommend ordering before you leave.
Fantastic place service is awesome... Everything I've tried is delicious... Pon pon chicken, Mongolian beef, general Tsos chicken, Szechuan chicken, sweet and sour pork... Atmosphere is ok but did and service more than make up for it... Have been here a couple times and will definitely come again.

So happily surprised! Very good food and tastes so fresh. Super good chicken dishes and sauces. Every item was delicious! Our new favorite Chinese restaurant!
The food is excellent. The service is quite good. The ambiance is a little dated. Recommend the General Tso's chicken, but there are many good choices. I chose Pon Pon chicken, which had a sweeter tone.
