The smell of wood smoke pulls you in and the food doesn't let you down! The chili taco bowl was fantastic! The chili had a rich flavor, with a touch of heat which I'd love to duplicate in my own homemade chili. My husband ordered the chicken fried steak and raved about it and the accompanying parsley potatoes. We'll definitely be visiting again!
We hired them to cater our wedding without tasting the food, because we were coming from Utah, so we were pretty nervous the day of. Not only was the food incredible but the staff was fantastic. They set up, helped serve and break down. They were engaged with our guests and very polite. We had people going up for thirds and practically licked the plate clean! Highly recommend Wildwood Smokehouse for any event! Thank you for helping make our day wonderful!
My husband, kiddo, and I had a great meal last night! The sandwiches, sides, and desserts were absolutely delicious. Plus, our server was amazing! We will definitely come back regularly.
We had a fantastic meal. Huge portions. The brisket was juicy and cut thick, just the way my wife and I like it. Will definitely go back.
Love this place! It was a lunchtime regular when our offices we're nearby. I highly recommend the baked beans and steamed broccoli. The baked beans are just the right amount of sweet and spicy. The broccoli is steamed to perfection, not mushy or hard. Always tastes fresh and not like reheated frozen stuff! The pork bbq plate is awesome! Never walked away hungry!
I work at a BBG pit and I love barbeque no matter how much I work around it. I've been here twice and both times I've loved the food. Also great staff. Definitely reccomend this place.
Family restaurant, friendly staff, home cooked food. And even my children love their chili!
Ate there numerous times and never had a bad experience! Love the brisket.
My Honey & I both love Wildwood! He almost always gets a BBQ sandwich & a side of BBQ beans. He is consistently pleased with his choice! I tend to try different things, but after having ribs last night, I may just continue to get them. They were tender & very tasty! I'd also like to compliment the young ladies who waitress at Wildwood. They are always prompt & polite.

One of the best restaurants. Food is always excellent. Fantastic ribs and the dry rub wings can't be beat.
BBQ hush puppies with real good had a real good waitress
Best BBQ in town with the best service too! They cater weddings too! Yum yum!
Good dry rub ribs and brisket, delicious mac & cheese. Often the takeout options mean the meats are dry. Oddly for a BBQ place, hush puppies are extra.
Good Food. Wildwood has a very 'home' like setting, similar to Cracker Barrell. Vintage decorations. Coke products, friendly staff. This was our first visit, and we went with 'The Porker' tray for two. It runs $23.99, and is pictured above. the picture doesn't do it justice - it really is enough food to feed two hungry people, and it gives you a good sample of the offerings. Included on this are the ribs (wet style or you can get them dry), pulled pork, pulled chicken, beef brisket, and sausage with onions and peppers. Sauces include a mustard, vinegar, and tomato base. Served with your choice of four sides. Hush puppies arrive on the table with all meals. Deviled eggs and Brunswick stew available year round and were awesome. The mac and cheese is a commercial brand that you would expect from Sysco (same bland type that Golden Corral has). Mashed potatoes are commercial as well. We were there close to closing and overheard one of the owners telling his friends there that the mashed potatoes were not instant but they are freeze dried. Either way cover them with gravy and they are good. Not overly amazed with the sides, but the meat - what they are known for was awesome. Towards the end of the meal we were asked about dessert. They have Banana pudding that is home made and is awesome, and at only $0.99 its the perfect amount to end a meal. The carrott cake is not home made but is the 'good' kind with the creamy icing. Carrot cake also $0.99 so very reasonable price, and just the right size after a big meal. There is a nice sized bar with a big screen tv for watching sports.
Overall "o.k.". I got spoiled by the barbecue in NC. That said, servers are very friendly and the Brunswick stew is some of the best I have tasted. I also REALLY enjoy the pulled BBQ salad.
Pleasant BBQ place. Friendly service, bright and clean. Hush Puppies are set on the table as soon as you sit down. Deviled Eggs on the menu are a delight to see. The Pulled Chicken Platter was tasty and satisfying. Reasonably priced pleaant BBQ offerings. Peace.
Great dinner! Loved beeing greeted with hushpuppies when we sat down.
We shared the Porker and some potato skins. This place really excells at their pork offerings! Ribs were our favorite by far! Get them Backyard Style! Our other favorite parts were the buffalo fries and the macncheese!
The bbq items were amazing, the sides were delicious as well but very small portions. Staff is great too.
Ribs, salads, prime rib, steak - all good. Our server was great; efficient, attentive and engaging. Everyone in our group enjoyed this place. Would go here again.
My wife and I have been dining with Wildwood Smokehouse for over 20 years. We usually visit twice a week. We have had most of the items on the menu and I haven't had a single thing that we didn't enjoy.
With their consistent high quality food plus their always outstanding service, Wildwood Smokehouse is a great place to eat!!
Mike and crew facilitated our retiree lunch. The food was delicious and the service first class! We'll be back. Thanks all for a great time and really good eats!!
Just discovered this restaurant, wanted to try something different. I just want to say the food was superb. The ribs were so tender they were just falling off the bone. I bought one of the tailgate specials, which I thought was a little pricey, but after getting all the food realized it was well worth it. The wings were delicious as was all of the food. I will be a returning customer and recommend them highly!
Always interested in an undiscovered (by me) BBQ spot. My buddy had the pork bbq sandwich and I got the dry rib plate. His came with one side, as did mine. They did not put the slaw on the bun.😮 It was his side dish, which meant the Brunswick stew was an add-on. Strange. I also chose the stew as my side.
Impression:. Sandwich was declared good, but Don called the "other" side Brunswick soup. My take was a delicious chunky minestrone like soup. Side bar:. Don is a Brunswick stew master and is on a quest to try as many as possible with the goal being the perfect stew. I have tried his and agree.
The ribs were fall-off-the-bone delicious. The red bbq sauce was sweetish, but worked well with my dry ribs. Not generally being a fan of mustard based sauces, I still enjoyed it as a contrast to the red sauce.
Yes, I will stop on my next loop through. For the best reason: the dining room staff was attentive and very welcoming. I think everyone of them came by our table more than once. Plus the local boys were out for lunch and, while loud, made the place feel like a family event.
A particular one of "the boys," remarked that the food had a lot of love in it. And that was desert.
