My 1st trip to Aesy's felt like a trip back in time. Kind service, great prices and fast and friendly service only added to the experience. Upon entering the restraunt I was greeted with friendly service followed by the the best burger I have experienced in Roanoke. This spot is a rare gem and I will be back for more.

Been a big fan for over 30 years !! Still haven't found anything that compares to my favorite...Hamburger steak sandwich with Swiss cheese , lettuce tomato & mayonnaise, hot peppers on a bun. Crinkle cut french fries with ranch dressing.,..Yum ! And the best friend bologna and egg sandwich in town !! Just saying...I love that place !!

A favorite gathering place for friends meeting up for lunch! Burgers and fries can't be beat, juicy pulled pork BBQ, grilled chicken salad with homemade ranch that hits the spot, and of course, strawberry cake to die for! Delicious! Always great service! :)

A mom and pop restaurant that is easily missed in downtown Roanoke. I am glad I stopped by to eat. What I had was a the Aesy specialty - Bologna sandwich with egg and cheese. That sandwich came in a burger bun and it is huge! And it costs less than $3.50. This is a great place. My only suggestion is to go in either on a Tuesday, Wednesday or Thursday as they are really busy on Fridays.

This place is AWESOME! Met the owners that run an amazing old school diner. Staff is very friendly and clean. Must haves are the burgers and the Jumbo drinks with free refills! Food is so classic yet delicious. Love this place will be back!

My goodness this is a not so hidden gem in the Star City! The service is so friendly and personable, and the food hits all the spots. We both had the double cheeseburger and an order of crinkle fries. The burgers were juicy and well seasoned, the sesame seed bun was soft and warm, and the tomatoes were red and tasty (and it's November!). Fries were hot and crisp. We can't wait to get back for breakfast!

Great food in an old time feeling restaurant, she had a cheese burger and I had the bologna, which was about a 5/16 slab of it.

Food is delicious 😋 , owners are so friendly and care about the quality of food they make. Home made vegetable beef soup (family recipe) and tuna, chicken salad, macaroni salad, just to name a few. Killer cake made the old fashion way by hand. Recommend coming and checking it out. Thick fryed bologna sandwiches !!! Cheeseburgers! They have something for everybody.

Fantastic service! The server was on top of his game. I really wanted cake, and was disappointed they didn't have any. Was very happy to learn i could order a full cake! Really awesome!
