I have visited Ravello by Toscano several times, they have a great atmosphere and delicious food. Yesterday I attended a party and the food was catered from there. The food was delivered hot, on time and the portions were very generous. The ingredients in the salad and main dishes were all fresh and very tasty. I would highly recommend Ravello by Toscano for dine-in and catering events.
I was fortunate to have the most amazing experience at a rehearsal dinner, in to my opinion the Best Italian Restaurant in my life. I've eaten in so many, but never came across one with this versatility. It was serve Family style, and everything from beginning to end was outstanding. I would drive from south Jersy for dinner there anytime.
We eat pretty much the same thing every time: Chicken Francais, Emma's Meatballs and Vodka Rigatoni. Always fresh and tasting good. I didn't give 5 stars because some of the food was cold.
Since it is a product of Toscano it shouldn't come as a surprise that the food is amazing. We went on the first night that the governor of New Jersey felt it was safe to do inside dining again. The tables were sufficiently spaced all the staff was wearing gloves and masks and we're very very friendly. We will definitely be back again. I highly recommend this for a very good meal out.
This place was amazing. Best any where near here. We had meatballs, sautéed calamari, which they agreed to do no problem, and the short rib tagliatelle. Followed by flourless cake and a coffee sponge cake. Hopefully you will get Mackenzie as your server, such a pleasent wonderful young girl. There is hope after all. Highly recommend..
The food was fantastic. Great atmosphere and great service. We love this place and we will be back.
Our second time at Ravello by Toscano, the first one took place eight months ago. Again, very positive experience. Inventive menu by Executive Chef Dominic C., combining modern trends, exploration of and venturing into other world cuisines, new and bold flavors with the great traditions of cucina italiana. Carefully selected fresh ingredients by local producers, attractive plating, and very very generous portions. The menu features daily specials, including different steaks, expertly cooked.
The prices are quite forgiving. Most pastas are priced in the low $20s (cacio e pepe is $18). We would particularly recommend the following dishes: short rib egg roll (braised beef short rib, Vermont cheddar, roasted mushroom bruschetta, truffle cream spinach), which even though being offered as an appetizer is capable of filling the hungriest stomach, grilled peaches and capicola salad and 14 oz steak, very reminiscent of Bistecca alla Fiorentina, served with deep fried squash florets and roasted potatoes.
Good and friendly yet professional service, spacious dining area, ample parking and convenient location with a direct access to both South and North lanes of route 130.
Highly recommended.
