I had to check out Wegmans in Rochester since everyone swears by it! It’s a really nice alternative to Whole Foods…. I still would pick Whole Foods over this, but that’s a personal preference.

Generally a very good shopping experience. Parking lot can be maddening, but getting there early minimizes the hassle. We pre-order subs frequently and usually they are great. Lately have been a bit sub-par, sometimes missing ingredients or getting instructions wrong.

Wegmans is amazing. This was ‘recently’ remodeled too. It has a new look but definitely has a very different feel on the inside. It’s much smaller than your typical Wegmans. Really great place though. Parking can be a nightmare in this location at times.

Regular Wegmans outstanding produce, meats and dairy products. Pricey but sometimes worth the extra cost. This particular location has one of the better bakery selections and is far less busy on a weekday mid afternoon than Pittsford Plaza or location on Pittsford Palmyra Road. Close and easy parking, more considerate other customers.

Love this grocery store it's really an amazing place to find all kinds of different foods from all over the world. There is a huge assortment of snacks and treats for any age. A wide selection of cooking supplies. Foods from all genres and cultures. You can spend hours shopping or just a few minutes if you follow signs and use express checkout. Really helpful staff always looking to assist or help you to the care if needed. Even dining for freshly prepared foods, a dinner hall, etc... Not much else you can ask for.

Wegmans is a great business. Everything is tip notch. The employees at this location are top-notch and friendly. This location is crammed into the neighborhood. Unfortunately, it is one of the only Wegmans in the Rochester City limits. It serves three different municipalities and caters to a clientele broad socio-economic spectrum. Because of these facts, this location is often busy and packed. Space is at a premium in this store. I have had more problems with rush hour traffic in this store than anywhere on highways in the city. Although this branch is on the small side, It does have a unique selection of products that rival its sister store in Pittsford (which has been referred to as the flagship store).

The store overall has a very nice selection to choose from. The store is smaller than other stores around and sometimes that equates to smaller sized aisles. If the store isn't too busy then that doesn't matter, but if you are trying to shop during peak hours, the aisles can get packed.

Excellent store I always look forward to shopping at Wegmans and checking out the ethnic section and bakery for specialty items

As a Rochester native love Wegmans. My favorite buys are sushi, and the big packages of salmon, the salmon filets are great and price is too. One of my favorites is chorizo sausage but that is pretty expensive, although canned goods, salad dressings are cheaper at Wegmans than at Walmart, you just have to know the store. A 25 year fav is Wegmans granola cereal, not expensive and excellent.

My father recently went to Rochester on a business trip. There, he found a Wegmans and fell in love. He said the food variety was insane. A good wholesome store that is an experience for the whole family.

The Rochester city outpost of the excellent Wegmans fleet. Biggest drawback is the very crowded parking lot. Floorplan is limited so shelves can be stocked high.

Went in to a different Wegmans then i normally do my shopping at today. Other then the entire building getting a bit more cramped. A tighter layout with less aisle space. The store had everything i was looking for. Had a great conversation with the cashier. No complaints whatsoever.

Really nice place. Heard so much about it and finally visited on a trip to upstate New York. Has a bit of a Trader Joe's vibe, but is considerably larger. Prices seemed expensive to me, which stands to reason. Can't have so many fancy displays etc. without the costs being reflected in the goods sold.
