What a wonderful dining experience from the service to food. Had a large party celebrating a birthday and had reservations in their outdoor seating section. It was a very charming area.
Started with calamari, and it was full of flavor. We fought over the last few pieces. The bread came with an assortment of add ons. The focaccia bread was a table favorite from the variety in the basket.
I ordered a veal special, and I'm sorry my picture doesn't give justice to how good it really was. The food items arrived hot...a must in my book.....and thr veal melted in your mouth. My leftovers were even better the next day......
Highly recommend. Just know it's pricy but for quality 👌.
The atmosphere is very pretty and romantically lit. The food wasn't what I thought it would be. The red sauce tasted a little bland ( for me). However the artichokes french was absolutely divine!! Prompt service and our server was remarkable!
Had a group dinner for work here. Was my first time to the Avenue but have been several times to the one on the River.
Calling to book the reservation was easy. Our table was ready on time. The service was triple teamed and they did a phenomenal job. Would definitely choose this place again
Wow is all I can say. This place is just amazing! The staff is the best, food is just a work of culinary art, the wine is delicious, and you have to love any restaurant that has an open kitchen. And don’t get me started on how nice their outside dining is! Just go!
So this place has great food and the waitstaff is trained to take care of you properly. This isn't super high-end fine dining, but it's fine dining with white table clothes and what not.
Now, there were a couple instances when we were waiting a bit longer than we would have liked for someone to check in on us, but they were very attentive when they were there. Water and drinks refilled frequently. Just took a little longer than we would have liked to get us some pasta. They also may have been a little short staffed because it was a Wednesday night too. Not exactly prime time for tons of people dining out.
I'll definitely be going back there to try other things. Their homemade gnocchi was really good, and the lobster version was just awesome.
We had a absolutely fantastic experience here! Stopped by for a bourbon tasting, and immediately went for dinner after. I had the chicken Milanese, which came perfectly breaded and extra crispy. My girlfriend had the gnocchi with spring vegetables. Thick luscious and delicious sauce, with perfectly cooked, still snappy greens. Drinks were also great. We will definitely be coming back.
Such a wonderful night celebrating my 80th.
The service was outstanding , the were able to help 2 children with fries and steamed clams and salmon which was 4 star.
Our food was served hot to all ou waitress handlers 11 people very nicely.
The piano player had great soft background music.
The owner made a visit and made us all feel so welcome !
I would highly recommend this place .
Great evening at pane vino for an event - Ben, Melissa and Jen were standouts. Definitely recommend. Only complaint was that the passed food was all passed in the first 30 mins of the event - kind of wish it had been spaced out a little more, or in two "shifts."
First time here decor is old, and it smelled like paint or varnish.
Hostess sat us with no menus. Cocktails were amazing! For apps we ordered the wedge salad, calamari and lobster bisque all were plentiful portions and very good. Entrees were pasta dishes, one shrimp dish and lobster gnocchi, and chicken parm. All entrees were huge portions and enjoyed except the chicken parm it was very dry. Our server was attentive and friendly. over all it was over priced and menu was limited, I really would have liked more seafood choices.
A very pretty , cozy, romantic ambiance with excellent service . Bread service at start was extra nice imo, and full bar w good selection of wines and good recommendations on wines as well . I felt very welcomed by the staff and attention to detail was excellent. I thought the beet salad was a tiny bit under-seasoned , really liked the caprese. Saltimbocca was better than the lobster ravioli if I had to pick. Overall a yes
I recently had a dinner in one of the party rooms for a family anniversary party. From the coordination with the event planner, the service, and the outstanding food, all of it was wonderful. The server Benjamin was extremely helpful and accomodating. The food was served on time and was delicious. Buffet dinners often suffer in large quantities, but this is not the case at Pane Vino. The food was outstanding.
Attended a private corporate presentation in a large, private room, which had a private bar in it. The room was great. The sirloin filet was perfectly cooked as I had asked for and the vegetables were all fresh. Even the coffee, which was quite strong, was the perfect compliment to the dense chocolate cake or whatever it was. In the main dining rooms, the tenor was lively and there was live music maybe a piano player with singer. Overall, it was very clean and the service team was exceptional. I'll be back to try the full dining experience.
There isn’t a better turkey club anywhere in Rochester
Lovely atmosphere. Fireplace a beauty!! Of course, the food was delicious and beautifully presented
We sat outside on a Thursday evening for dinner. We ordered the special appetizer (bangbang shrimp) and the special entree (halibut), chicken parmesan, and tiramisu. The bangbang shrimp was a generous portion for the price and the halibut special was seriously the best dinner I’ve ever had!!!!! I’m SO glad I have leftovers! Chicken parm was awesome and the tiramisu was delicious. 1000/10 cannot wait to return, such a wonderful experience!!!!!
CELIAC FRIENDLY!!! We hosted an engagement dinner party at Pane Vino on Monroe and we could not get enough of the food! Every dish we had was better than the last. Pane Vino already has the best bread but the ricotta toast was SO worth it. We had salmon, short rib, chicken parm, eggplant, caesar salad, spinach, and asparagus and I dug into the leftovers right after we got home! I couldn’t help myself, the food is seriously SOOOO good!! Awesome portions and very fairly priced. I would’ve paid more to be honest, I couldn’t have asked for a tastier experience! My brother has severe celiac disease and he had a gluten free salmon that he inhaled (and didn’t get sick!) Anyone with celiac knows that’s worth a million bucks. The drinks were amazing and the wait staff was so patient and kind to us. A lovely gentleman ran out after us because we dropped something. Nothing beats this place, I will come here every chance I get and they did amazing with the party!! Thanks Pane Vino on Monroe!!!!!
