I’m out from California for a couple of weeks and went into see Joe the other day, hadn’t seen him in 40+ years!
Love this place!! Food and Drinks reasonably priced, Super Bar Menu. Service is Great! Outstanding Bands/Music you can dance to. Joe & Anne always make you feel at home. The atmosphere is friendly and lots of fun. Come on out on Sundays, when weather permitting, Bands play out back. Good time for all and it won't break the bank!
Joe and Anne are great host. The staff is friendly and respectful. Food is good for a reasonable price. Friday awesome bands. Every time I go there I have a great time and always slot of laugh. Once you go there you will want to go back.
Had a great time, the night of 7/30/17 the band Freightrain from Buffalo, NY were awesome, so glad i went. Hope to definitely go back again.

Checked this place out a few weekends ago and loved it. The food was great, had the buffalo garlic Parm wings. Super friendly staff and was made to feel at home. Joe's excitement in regards to live music will keep me coming back. Was lucky to get to see Todd East perform. Highly recommend.

I went there with a friend for live music on a summer night and it was great! Joe, the owner plays the drums amazingly and is also a fantastic host. So glad we went. It was a wonderful experience. And the food is great and so reasonable!

I love Joe and I love this place. Outdoor bands, great basic foods, killer drinks. Parking lots on both sides. Don't let the neighborhood bother you. They're an oasis.
Great place to listen to Live Music or Grab a Bite. Above average bar food. Never a cover charge. Reasonable prices & Always Clean! Some famous people have been to Joe's. Be prepared to Dance!!

Great house band, owner sings and plays drums. Fun place, not in the best neighborhood, but worth a stop! Relaxed stop for a good drink.
The ones are the best. Fantastic Rochester music from all of the greats. Ya never know who will stop in or who you are standing next to. People are great and food is wonderful for a fast menu. Once you eat a burger you will have to go home for a nap. They are massive and price is perfect. Thank you all Joe and Annie.

Wonderful experiance ..... in town from South Carolina for the holidays. Met up with a few of my nephews for a holiday drink. Most places were closed early but not Smokin' Joe's. We were greeted with a warm smile and the few patrons that were there seemed to be there to have a last minute drink in this cozy atmosphere. The bartender was wonderful lady that didnt seem to mind being there on Xmas eve. We had a few drinks ,engaged in a little holiday talk and laughed quite a bit. although the bartender left before we did to do some last minute Xmas wrapping her company and conversation alone was enough to make that a spot that I will definitly visit before I leave and when I come home to visit again. ( The bartender was Joe's Ol' lady ..... wonderful lady)
Cool place, great vibes, great food... Owners and bartenders are awesome ppl and very welcoming.. Has a juke box and drinks aren't expensive just overall nice bar..
Best Burger in Rochester. Have gone there for 3 years not 1 complaint ever! Highly recommend to eat in, or to go. Your won't be disappointed!
