First time going.* MAKE RESERVATIONS AHEAD OF TIME. Save yourself the pain of having an over HOUR AND 40 MIN. Wait like our family of 4 had to. We did so no problem.😊 Lots to look at .... Excellent choice of seafood and the drink menu had a good variety of fruity cocktails and you get to keep the glass on select drinks🍹...kids menu available. Had the shrimp brochette and they were yummy and spicy. The rice was nice and fluffy and spicy. Outside seating was very nice sitting by the lake. Beautiful view. Will definitely be coming back.
Food was great reasonable priced. Beignets were delightful. Our waitress Taylor was attentive and just all around fabulous. Most definitely will come again...hopefully they will have the side door fixed by then.
I'm amazed this place is awesome it does get crowded because it's right by the lake it has entertainment outside we were sitting outside nice view and entertainment our waiter took good care of us ask for Derek very friendly customer service was great the food was fire 🔥 amazing I had the tilapia plate the sauce 🔥cones with a salad I choose the Cesar my hubby had shrimp and fries also we had oysters with some tequila on it awesome drinks margarita two shots of tequila and hurricane I so recommend this place I will so come back
Food was very good. Had the oysters on the half shell. Very yummy. Everyone was happy with thier food. Waiter was great and food came out promptly and hot.
Great food and great service. And reasonable prices too, I couldn't believe. And it's a beautiful setting.
I really enjoyed the atmosphere and drinks at Dodie’s. But I must say the cajun food was not as authentic as I was hoping. But service was great!
The location and the view is awesome. What can you say eating outside and viewing Lake Ray Hubbard. I had ordered the Taste of New Orleans. It came with Jambalaya, Seafood Gumbo and Red Beans and rice.

The Jambalaya and Seafood Gumbo needed a little more seasoning to get it to 5 stars. The Red Beans and Rice was really good.
