My husband and I had a date night here because we wanted to try a new place! We were not disappointed! The food was absolutely amazing. The seafood gumbo is to die for! We got to meet the owner, who was so nice and informative on the food and what we should order. This will become a regular place we dine at!

Wow... to get such fresh seafood at a restaurant that is not right on the Gulf is a real treat! I'm very picky about my seafood and I have to say that Joe's met my standard!
The oysters were the best I've ever eaten in my entire 54 yrs! They had the perfect coating. They were large, plump, flavorful, juicy and cooked to perfection.
The shrimp were wonderful too! The way to know a quality seafood restaurant is by their tarter sauce... and Joe's Oyster Bar and Grill did not disappoint! Their tarter sauce is made in house and it is delicious!
I live in Houston but to get oysters like this, it would be worth the trip out to Rosenberg! I'll be back again! Better yet, how about opening a Joe's in Houston so I don't have such a drive?!

The raw oysters were some of the best I’ve had. The owner is on site and friendly. We go for the crawfish so I’m not sure about the other food on the menu but it always looks really good.
Great restaurant! The food was wonderful with a nice selection or fresh seafood and CRAWFISh! The shrimp cocktail and crab cakes for dessert were fabulous. Shrimp are large! I had the grilled shrimp dinner with a nice size baked potato and fresh veggie medley!! Service was outstanding and attentive, atmosphere nice as well. We will go back again and highly recommend to others looking for good seafood in this are and really great prices! For first timers, we were very pleased!! Congrats Joe's!
We're so happy to have a nice locally owned restaurant come into our area! I've been in several times already and the food has been top notch, the wait staff very attentive, and the owner very friendly and engaging. I'm looking forward to going back soon!
Recommendations so far: clam chowder, oysters, ceviche, crab cakes, grilled shrimp, grilled and fried fish, and the wine's pretty good too ;-)
My wife and I ate dinner tonight and joe the owner came up to us while we ate and ask if how was it. It was a amazing food and he was cool � and really helpful with our questions about the place and food. We will be back for sure! We needed a seafood place like this!!!

Oyster Rockefeller, shrimp, fish, crab cakes and Mac n cheese sooo good! Not to mention the service was great as well. So glad to have a seafood restaurant so close to home. Definitely recommend!

Pleasantly surprised by this spot. 1st time diners and we just ordered as much as we could stomach, which was too much. Raw Oysters as expected, but drier that most oyster spots. Chargrilled ones were cheesy and grille well, as fore mentioned, drier than other spots I’ve tried but maybe it’s the season… Mac and cheese was made with gouda cheese so it was flavorful. The clam chowder was off the charts, and better than most. Clams were soft and melted in your mouth chewy. The fish in the fish tacos were broiled perfectly, but would have liked the slaw on top to be dressed with some kind of dressing in the slaw instead of just being a plain cabbage. I mean there was dressing on the side but again, comparatively to other fish tacos, the salad on top usually is more flavorful than just the raw veggie. Ceviche was great, perfectly seasoned and citrusy. Overall a great experience. Unknowingly, To boot they have specials that made it better cost wise, but we just wanted to try as much as we can… defiantly going back to try other things.

Best chicken fried steak, fried okra and Mac and cheese! Fried mushrooms are a must and If you have room the cheese cake is delicious.
Not fine dining. I sat at a table covered in a fine layer of dust from a dirty bar towel, the little fibers caught my eye in the setting sunlight. That's what made me look around. The floors had not been swept in a while, and food debris was everywhere. I purchased a steak, steamed broccoli, and a simple garden salad. The salad was dry but fresh, the steak was cooked to order and tasted delicious, but the broccoli tasted of fish. This is a seafood joint, so who knows if they use the same steamer for both vegetables and the fish..The staff was amazing, even pouring my water to my glass, and accomidated my request to try an oyster or two. They (staff named Daniel) and the great steak are the saving grace for my trip to this restaurant. If you do not mind eating at a bar, you will like this joint.
I like Joe's, but they should upgrade to booths . The food is good , my dad likes it very much .

My friends brought me here for lunch & the food was fast, hot & very good. The service was excellent. The price was good as was the amount of food you got! I Would highly recommend Joe's & I would come here again!

This was a good choice for an early supper. I had a perfectly cooked ribeye and my wife had chicken Alfredo.
The ceviche was really good, but my grilled Salmon was a bit dry. I'm hoping that was a fluke, because I really like the other menu options I read. The owner was present at the restaurant and seems very involved in the operation. I always appreciate that level of commitment.
Ordered the RibEye with a salad and baked potato. Everything was very tasteful and as it should be. We will go back and try the oysters and seafood next.

Sat at the bar and ate oysters on the half shell and some brewskies of course.
Had the Joe's Deluxe Platter and Seafood Gumbo to go and I most say the platter was awesome. The gumbo I must say had a bit too much bayleaf for my taste.
Overall I can say that this place awesome and would recommend.
