Absolutely love this place! I’m a fried oyster freak and these are the best you can find in Atlanta. For half-shell fans, you will be in heaven! Their sides complement the meals perfectly. And although I don’t drink alcohol, I hear they have an unbelievable Bloody Mary bar on Sundays. If you have not been, it’s time to go!!!!
We had the BEST experience here. We came for lunch to get an appetizer and were so impressed that we came back for dinner! Their oysters are some of the best I've ever had, and the staff is 10/10. Rachel was our waitress during lunch and she explained the menu perfectly, told us about Happy Hour, and convinced us to come back for dinner! One of my new favorite places to eat and I CANT WAIT to come back! So excited to try the brunch and the Bloody Mary/Mimosa bar!! Everyone should try this place out.
My Friend I went there on Saturday everything was great. The food was great,the service was great and the atmosphere was even better. We had a great time. I would recommend Hugo’s Oyster Bar To Everyone, To Have And Enjoy The Great Experience!!!
Ambience and foods were super scrumptious delicious and succulent.We enjoyed every cuisine and it is worth the place to dine with family and friends as we did.It was my first experience at Hugo's that I loved it.Highly recommended for delectable seafood.We would love to come back to savor the cuisines again.
The chargrilled oysters and the Etoufee were excellent. Definitely my new favorite place for oysters! The gulf oysters were great and the blue crab was really good to. Our service was excellent. Great place!
The oysters were fantastic! We had raw oysters, Hugo oysters, Rockefeller oysters and RC oysters and they were all amazing. Our dinners were also great but the oysters made it better. Our meals were crab stuffed shrimp and is was very yummy but I didn’t quite care for the truffle Mac and cheese.
Absolutely, hands-on the freshest oysters and seafood inland. The staff is VERY attentive. Jonathan, the manager, checked in with is a couple of times to make sure our needs we being met.
I would, highly, recommend this restaurant to any seafood lover. The portions are a good size without being overwhelming. The sauces are spot on. The shellfish was very tasty without being drown in a heavy sauce.
We are planning another trip for Valentine's weekend!
This was our 3rd time there and have loved it every time. Oysters were great..crab legs were on point too.

Visited this restaurant the other night and was not disappointed. This restaurant has complimentary valet, which is a bit of an over-kill. As we entered, we were greeted, and chose to sit outside. The waiter was friendly and attentive. We ordered a beer, a Bloody Mary, and Oysters Rockefeller to start. The beer was draught, and a bit warm. My Bloody Mary hit the spot though. The Oysters were amazing. Still hot when they came out, and filled with cheese, bacon, and spinach. We then ordered a Shrimp Po' Boy and Fish Tacos. The shrimp was battered and fried very will. The bread and toppings were fresh. The fish tacos were fresh as well. Overall, the restaurant was a great vibe and is perfect setting for a seafood dinner. Definitely recommend.
Traveling on a case in Atlanta, I found myself on a rendezvous to this Roswell establishment to meet a canary promising to humble himself, thus offering a window I could crawl into.
On a Tuesday afternoon there was scarcely a minion to be found and we likely had the four walls to ourselves. Oysters are a specialty and these did not disappoint.
Everything was splendid and attention was exemplary but I must say, the traffic in this city is quite impressive! Do not attempt to be on time anywhere during the supper hours for it is merely asking for the elf's shadow!

My take on the place; very solid service, food was a several steps past good, portions were spot-on, employees worked well together, manager was very visible and active at the kitchen window, easily matches the atmosphere of their Canton Street rivals. Admirable selection of wine and whiskey. I have a strong sense that these cats know what they are doing.
Loved it. Great atmosphere, the staff was friendly. We had char grilled oysters, blue crab claws, and peel n eat shrimp, everything was delicious! We will go back again, soon!

Great new addition to Roswell. The Mahi was some of the best I've ever had. The atmosphere is chic and the service was attentive and friendly. The manager did a good job of making us feel welcome as well. We recommend this and will be back.

Dined at Hugo's tonight for DH birthday. Food was fabulous. The restaurant just opened yesterday and you can tell they are still working through some minor issues, but the wait staff is very attentive and the management team all came over to introduce themselves, welcome us to the restaurant and talk about the plans for the restaurant.
I had the Parmesan Gulf Grouper which comes over a bed of garlic spinach. Melt in your mouth good! Hubby had he half and half platter - dozen oysters and half pound of boiled shrimp. The oysters were very clean and fresh. Perfect combination for him. DD had the flounder po' boy with fried mac and cheese. Delish!
Definitely a new restaurant to add to our list of regular stops.
The food here is so delicious. It was a beautiful day so we decided to sit on the patio. I ordered the Oyster Combo which consisted of 3 different types of oysters. For my second dish I got the tuna tartar and finished with the seafood jambalaya. Everything was so amazing, kisses to the chef. They even gave us a hot towel at the end of our meal to clean our hands. S/O to our waiter Tony , he was so accommodating.
We've eaten dinner here countless times but had never tried their brunch. We wanted something a little different and I was not expecting this. The food was very good and the fried oysters hit the spot. Even though they were fully staffed, people just standing around, the service here was fairly slow. Overall, it is a great brunch location!
The oysters were shucked to perfection. All were great! I was not to thrilled about the 7 or 8 crab fingers received for the cost. Nor the fact that my drink was taken before I finished it. But overall nice place great drinks and oyster go to.
We had such a great experience for our first time at Hugo’s! We sat at the bar and had friendly and fast service. The oysters were delicious and we will definitely be back!!
Oysters were really good! Definitely order the combo platter. The crusted flounder was ok. I feel like needed more flavor. Red fish was good. Cobia was slightly overcooked. Beignets were excellent and highly recommended.
First time trying this place. Great oysters and drinks! Loved the sweet praline beignets I had for dessert! Will be back soon!!
Absolute the best and most amazing place for oysters. I haven’t even tried anything else. One day, I will. Can’t get over these oysters.
