My favorite sandwich shop in Georgia! Soooo good. The best fried green tomato sandwich. Also the homemade chips and fried pickles are amazing. I go there anytime i can.
The food was great and the kids had such a good time in the “old house” atmosphere. Then to top it off, the Sugar Shacknin the Back was a hidden treasure that they discovered and they completely lost their mind! It was a great experience and the kids eat for free on Tuesday’s! We will definitely be going back!
Good location, good food, good prices, very nice and quick staff. I love their burger nights. A nice go-to restaurant when visitors come in to town because of the casual atmosphere.
I use to work here, I can honestly say I love the food so much and Andy was a fantastic boss. I still crave their food and come back frequently even though I worked there for about 5 years. Everything is fresh! And Andy is a flavor genius.
A must stop every time we come to Roswell. Amazing food . Outstanding customer service. Love the Pickle bowl! Then after eating we head to The Sugar Shack in the back for yummy baked goods ❤
Great food and amazing service! Fried pickles are the best!

Great staff, organized and very pleasant even in the face of a big crowd. Fun menu, kids love it and then there's the ice cream shop behind the restaurant! Perfect lunch for grandparents and their grandkids.
Great place for families! The catfish is amazing and my girls loved the Sugar Shack around back.
Amazing food! Parking sucks but the food is so worth it! Loved everything. The potato salad was a bit heavy handed with the mayo but everything else was 5 Stars. This is a must visit in the Roswell are!!!
Delicious Cajun poorboy sandwich that was cooked to perfection. My wife had the Asian salmon salad again where everything was fresh and amazing.
The location is perfect, situated right in the middle of Downtown Roswell, a charming town with loads of foot traffic. The restaurant is in an old house, which adds to its appeal and obvious "homie-ness." The food was great and the staff was attentive. I went with a coworker, the line was long during lunch hour but that is to be expected. We still managed to get in and out in an hour. My coworker raved about the Brie BLT and the shrimp southwest salad was great. Two very satisfied customers.
This place is amazing. You can really tell how they take the time and thought into each ingredient to make each dish special. A wonderful farm to table place.
Two words... Food Porn! This place is awesome! My husband and I started with the pickle platter. We then shared a Cuban sandwich and a strawberry almond salad. All of it was delicious! I can't wait to come back and try something new.
Located in the center of the southern charmed Roswell is the Fickle Pickle. The menu is basic, the food presentation is simple but the food served is outstanding in taste, texture and design. The fried green tomato sandwich with its balance of herbs, fresh vegetables and homemade bakery fresh tasting bread bursts with so much perfection it makes your taste buds sing. To put in simple terms this is the best green fried tomato sandwich I have tasted so far in Georgia. Six out of a party of six went home extremely satisfied with their meals. The restaurant is located under ancient giant oak trees is a historical rundown house that needs a proper restoration and repair. The interior is spotless but sparse in design. Walls are covered in artwork by local artists. Ordering is done at the counter but food is served on real plates. There are three small in house dining areas but ample outside dining areas. Lacking in decor the real star attraction is the food. The place is very casual, kid friendly with mid scale pricing. The staff is friendly but not intrusive. The bottom line this is not a restaurant to impress with atmosphere but it is a place to visit for great tasting simple food. If you need a place to eat alone or spend time with family and friends over a good meal the Fickle Pickle will fit the bill.
Shrimp burger?! You betcha! Visiting friends, went for lunch, great chips with blue cheese. Of the group, 3 Reuben's, a Cuban, and a shrimp burger. House made coleslaw is worth a shout out. Good food, great company!
Their fried pickles are the BEST!!!!!
In the outside the perimeter culinary mecca of downtown Roswell you will find the Fickle Pickle. It’s impossibly charming. Warning to adults, it is very kid friendly so keep that in mind when dining there. It’s an old house and walls peppered with local art for sale. The staff is all smiles and sunshine. Parking in this area is always Russian Roulette but you can usually find something closeby if not right on the ground where you are wanting to get your eat-on. You can get take out counter service (chalkboard menu at the counter) and laminated for indoor and outdoor seating. The side pickle is more bread and butter than dill. I can only assume to make it kid friendly. I like them just fine. The sides of iceberg wedge is more of a portion of intact iceberg with a buttermilky blue that is very mild. Potato salad is very simple and tasty, again I think to be kid friendly but I liked it very much. Creamy but not gloppy mayo dress with very fine dice of onion. Roast beef cold sandwich is on bakery sourdough with blue cheese, arugula and raw onion. One delicious restaurant style deli sandwich. The bread has a nice spongy interior and crust chewy exterior. Creole Cuban Panini is on the same bakery sourdough. Full of all things you want out of a Cuban sandwich. Smoked turkey, ham, swiss, pickle and a cream creole spiced spread. It’s hearty and satisfying. I love the kick of spice in it. Staring you down are irresistible baked treats for dessert. Brownies, blondies, cupcakes and half a dozen types of big homey style cookies. Delicious homemade taste and a perfect ending to comfort food you will find in here. I don’t know if I will go back due to my aversion to kids but if you don’t mind that or want a place to take your kids go on in to Fickle Pickle. They have a kiddie menu and high chairs your little bundle(s). Posted July 16, 2012 Author Stephanie Anderson Urban Pl8. A review. The ever current chic industrial look. Clean and roomy inside. I was happy to see table
Creative food, good atmosphere. Wish there were more vegetarian choices. Fried green tomato sandwich is good. Patio under a big old Elm is nice.
It's a winner!. Love, love the Fickle Pickle! Great food, great service, quaint Roswell and delicious fried pickles! The menu has something for everyone! Kid friendly and the prices are reasonable. Go check them out -- you will leave full and happy!
Simply Delicious. I could very easily write a long and elaborate review ranging from the crispness of the fried pickles to the sweet tang of the peach tea. But instead, I'll tell you The Fickle Pickle is simply delicious across the board and you will not be let down. My wife and I will return often!
Love it!!!. This is one of my favorite spots to bring the little one. Kids eat free on Tuesday nights (one kid per adult). The line to order can sometimes be long, but once you're seated the staff is readily available to bring you extra items. I cannot stress the importance of this when dining with kids. There are constantly servers walking by your table clearing plates, picking up dropped forks, bringing extra napkins for spills and checking to make sure the food is great. And it always is. They have taken the time to put together a great menu using quality ingredients and it shows. Their breads are high end and they offer healthier sides. Plus it's an older house that was converted into a restaurant, so it has charm galore and a large outdoor area with comfortable seating and even a barn out back with more tables. I absolutely love this place!!!
Good stuff. Sandwiches are great and their mac and cheese bowls are really tasty. The service sometimes gets slow because of the way they have the ordering process set up. Good prices too.
One word to describe the food.... Amazing. The catfish po-boy was excellent. The price and atmosphere wraps up a great experience.

Get the roasted veggies sandwich grilled, not cold as it's listed on the menu. Food is good but menu needs tweaking. Very helpful and friendly staff! :)
Stand and wait to order. The food is usually always great. I was 2 deep in line to order, 10 minutes at least. The guy taking the orders was also the sommelier. $20 for a sandwich and glass of wine. The food did arrive quick.
Good with great service. Just had lunch with the wife and kiddies. Food was good. I had the catfish poorboy. It was tasty. Servers are helpful and very happy. Everyone liked the food they had. It was a little pricey. They screwed up our order but fixed it right away. There was a line out the door.
Overall grade C+
My favorite restaurant! I love the fried pickles and bre blt. Eat there very often and have recommended it to many!
Grilled ham and pimento cheese... Y. U. M.
The Owners of This Place Are Doing Something Right!. Several Fridays ago I had plans with a friend to meet here for lunch. Fickle Pickle is so popular, people were virtually pouring out the door, and we actually had to go elsewhere!
This is a great place for 'ladies who lunch.' The food is good, fresh, reasonably priced and cheerfully presented. I generally order either a roast beef sandwich or salmon salad, and peach iced tea. Everything is always good.
The decor is charming, though I have a complaint. There are so many tables -- which they do indeed need -- that when the place is packed, it's difficult to carry on a conversation since the noise level is high. (I think from now on, I"ll avoid Fridays.)
Lets here it for the Cookies!!!!. Got to say the food at the Picklle is awsome. When your in the mood for something gooey and peppery nothing beats the Brie BLT !!! soooo good and of course the fried pickles are a must have, but lets hear it for the cookies!!!!. Where else can you get a carrot cake in cookie form come on!! Eating your oatmeal never tasted so good. Devine chocolate brownie and toffee bars. All I can say is YUMMMMM where is the milk yall!
Great Ambiance. This is a special place with an exciting menu that makes you want to keep going back to try new things. We had the pimento cheese and ham sandwich and the fried green tomato sandwich. Both were good -- I thought the ham with the pimento cheese was a nice pairing, and it was served warm, which I enjoyed. The fried green tomato sandwich was good too. The Caesar salad was really good, and the cream of asparagus soup was delicious! I really love the ambiance and the artwork and the staff was super friendly in the midst of a very busy lunch rush. I can't wait to return to try their night time menu (mac and cheese with pimento cheese and bacon sounds like sinful heaven). They also have a great little barn in the back for parties and other functions -- the catering menu looks interesting too. Truly a new fav for me.
Always Delicious. Best sandwiches I have ever had. One of my favorite places in Roswell. Many original tastes that give it such a great southern flavor. ANYTHING is good here. I salivate every time I look at the menu
Fried Green Tomato Sandwich is best I have tasted.
New favorite place!. I've lived in the Alpharetta area for a little over a year now and haven't really experienced much local food for various reasons, hectic schedule etc. I decided to try something different so I opened the urban spoon app on my android phone and let it pick a sandwich shop for me. Fickle pickle was the first selection, reviews sounded great, menu looked great so I went. It was awesome! The location is just adorable. Parking is a little tight but I also went at peak lunch hour so I asked for it. The staff was extremely friendly and the food was GREAT. I got a huge sandwich and a bowl of soup for about $10 with a drink. I'm excited to go back and try something from the dinner menu next time. I definitely recommend this if you like quaint local down home atmosphere and a good sandwich! Will definitely be back :)
Wow. Great place. Try the Pickle's, of course.
Great Lunch. Cool old house turned into a restaurant. Had the Tuna Melt, Corn Chowder and a Toffee Bar. All delicious. Going to come back for dinner. Catfish sounds great! Parking is a nightmare, but they don't have much space. Great looking patio if you like to eat outside.
Yum!. If you go here, you should go early because it can get crowded! You MUST get the fried pickles! They're the best I've ever had. I also had the Smoked Turkey Sandwich, which was great of course. I love the atmosphere. It's like being in a real kitchen. Everything is so casual and welcoming.
Recommended!
BREAKFAST !!!!!. I just had my second great breakfast at Fickle Pickle. Glad to see someone open for us earlybirds !!!
Great food and great atmosphere!. Never had a bad meal at the Fickle Pickle! Great sandwiches and salads. Make sure to try their fried pickles, which are outrageously delicious, as well as their desserts
Good sandwiches, always busy. I've been to the Fickle Pickle several times, and always have a consistenly good sandwich and great service. The ladies at the counter are so friendly, and it always feels like a bustling little sandwich shop: fun & tasty!
This is a very eclectic restaurant with tons of ambience. Great food in a house turned restaurant where you can experience old Roswell.
The Fickle Pickle Cafe is found in a gray wood frame house on Canton Street, and as you're traveling north on Canton Street it's on the right. Like many other restaurants in along Canton, it's easy to miss, and the parking is a little haphazard. There is
I have GOT to go back to this place, and soon! Just the other day, I met some friends for a casual business lunch at Fickle Pickle in Roswell. This place is a gem. It is carved into an older home, with dining areas occupying what used to be bedrooms...
This place has amazing food, especially if you like pickles. Please, try the potato salad, you won't be disappointed. Fried pickles so good, pickle plate a must. We got a Cuban and fried green tomato sandwich, both equally good. The only complaint is the lack if parking, but down the street there is a free parking lot, just a short walk. Oh yeah, the holiday macaroons are a must!
I lived in Roswell right after college, so I KNEW we were heading to the Fickle Pickle (and buying the t-shirt) on this trip. This is the place where I learned that I liked fried green tomatoes AND fried pickles. Not exactly the best way to prepare food, I know, but OMG, so good.
Son ordered the Brie BLT, and while he said it was good, he expected it to be more "melty." Husband had the Cuban Creole and loved it. I got the Fried Green Tomato (asked for no onions; still got onions and no arugula). SO good.
Kind of packed seating area during the holidays, and it was chilly (for us Floridians at least), so it is weird to stalk tables inside in hopes that someone is getting up soon. But we noticed that even if people sat down immediately after customers left, staff jumped in to disinfect the tables - they're definitely following Covid protocols here.
Highly recommend - some of the food items sound really bizarre, I know, especially if you're not accustomed to everything being deep fried like a lot of the foods you get in the deep south. But ohhh man, so good.
Parking wasnt an issue as we were there just as they opened. I had the cuban and my spouse the blt with brie. Also the house made chips as appetizer. Fries on the side.
The chips were delicious! The sandwiches were good. I might ask to not have it toasted next time. The crust was too crunchy to eat and overall caused the inside to be soggy. Its all deli thin sliced meat. Good quality. Bit pricy. Five would have been given if we didnt have to deconstruct the sandwiches. Staff were all friendly and smiling. Loved the fact its an older home redone to be what it is today.
Very busy at lunch on Saturday. Wait to place our order was 10 minutes or so. Food prep and delivery was fairly prompt considering the circumstances. All food was great other than the chicken fingers. They tasted of old cooking oil. I understand from others that they are usually good. The coconut macaroons were very good.
First time hearing and having lunch there with church members. The food was great and so was customer service! Beautiful customer service! Can't wait to get my hands on another batch of those fried pickles. Although super crowded during lunch, service was quick! Thank you so much for providing quality customer service!
Really enjoyed having lunch here. Old house converted into a restaurant. There is seating inside and out. Order your food inside and then they bring it to your table. All the food we had was great. Pickle Bowl was good too, get it if you’re looking for an appetizer.
Great place for a laid back Saturday lunch with friends! Fresh ingredients, BIG sandwiches & a beautiful outdoor area to soak up the spring vibes with friends. Decent beer selection too, trust the internet on this one!
Great sandwich spot in an old house in Roswell. Amazing outdoor space. I like the horseradish beef with blue cheese and arugula. The BLT is pretty epic as well.
