As a restaurant, this place is good... the bakery, though, is phenomenal. By far the best macaroons I've ever had, and I've had them at some of the finest places in the world including Harrods (the Larterie), and the ones they have here are better (but not nearly the selection or exotic flavors). The coconut macaroons are unreal, so soft, buttery, and coconutty.

Amazing sweets!. I got the individual black forest and a strawberry tart for a friend. We both inhaled them! Sooo yummy! I also picked up a strawberry shortbread cake for a party I am going to, I hope everyone enjoys this food as much as I did. I will be going back!

Favorite Restaurant. The food here is classic made with high-quality fresh ingredients, and perfectly prepared. Anyone who has spent any time in France will instantly recognize the authenticity from the intense flavors perfectly balanced. The omelets (served only up until 11 a.m.) are as well-prepared as anywhere, and those who appreciate a simple dish expertly done will understand why we love this place so much. The desserts are superb, especially the St. Tropez, the strawberry shortcake, and the Almond croissants.

Being authentically French, the place does indeed suffer from what many will consider French shortcomings; the service can be slow, and the coffee is only fair at its best. It's best to avoid peak times, or not be on a tight schedule, and the expresso is better than the coffee, but still not great.

But these flaws are easily forgotten after enjoying their flavorful tourte au poulet or boeuf bourguignon. The Roswell location barely advertised, yet just through word of mouth it went from empty to nearly packed in just a couple of months.

This place is a rare treat.

Agree..good food, bad coffee. Coffee is..not acceptable for a coffee lover Food is really good, so are the baked goods. I will be back, my hubby not so much. The menu lists a price but when you go to pay, they charge you by item. It ended up being pretty expensive and hard to tell if it matched what we saw on the menu. I dream of the quiche and nutella crepes but I'll probably end up going there alone :)

Good food, good service, bad coffee. This hard to find location of Douceur De France is worth trying, if just for the almond croissants and the other pastries. The breakfast was good, especially the ham and swiss omelet. I highly recommend the Jambon Beurre Fromage cold sandwich, a baguette spread with butter and topped with smoky salty ham and swiss cheese. Just great. The brewed coffee, on the other hand, was very disappointing. When asked, the waiter told us he thought it was Folger's. A french restaurant with food this good should serve European coffee in the cafe' tradition, not restaurant warehouse Folger's.....will try a cappucino next time.

Great place. This is a great new restaurant / bakery / pastry shop!
French atmosphere, with the same great food than Douceur de France Marietta.

The white chocolate mousse Christmas log is awesome!

Douceur de France is a small breakfast and lunch restaurant specializing in French pastries and dishes. They have another location in Marietta. We ate here for brunch on a Saturday morning and the dining room was full the whole time we were there.

It appeared as a place where you sit down and leisurely enjoy your breakfast, brunch, or lunch. I guess they really wanted to give the French charm, down to the leisurely service.

We hosted a baby shower at the Marietta location, and it was the perfect venue. The staff was incredibly accommodating, especially Michelle, who was our decided server for the event. The food was delicious, as always. We were even able to order their adorable meringue booties as a favor for the shower. I would highly recommend using them for an event!

Best pastries outside of France! I am continuously amazed at the the skill and perfectionism that goes into them, and the huge variety they have on offer. Puts a smile on my face every single time. It is almost impossible to find traditional French pastries this well executed anywhere in the USA. Highly recommended!

This a small no frills cafe serving good food. Their portions felt a little smaller. We ordered the Panini Benedict, Eggs Ratatouille and french onion soup. Everything tasted good. Service was excellent. We also saw many freshly made baked goods coming in. Will definitely try there pastries next time

Quaint, seems authentic. They work super hard and seems like they have a hard time with enough staff like everyone. They have a great bakery case and even items to take home to heat and eat! Love their crepes! I think their Beef Bourguignon is ok, but could definitely use more flavor. Doesn't even taste like they put salt nor pepper and has no carrots, as is traditional. (or at least all of the other places I have eaten it and recipes online). Also, their baguettes are pretty flavorless and no crisp on the outside - very white too. Not trying to be critical, but you would think that a French Cafe would have GREAT bread and Beef Bourguignon. Unfortunately, I think they are overworked like everywhere and that some of there foods suffer as a result. Still like going though. The outside sign and flowers could definitely use some sprucing up.
