One of the best customer service experiences I have had in awhile. I had never been to Mitch’s (big mis-steak ;)) and called ahead to see if I could come pick up a couple of hand cut ribeyes for later that evening. I spoke to Star who immediately knew I was a first time customer and she took the time to explain the set-up as well as the many options I had to customize our steaks. I was placed on Will Call for my order, which made complete sense. It wasn’t long before I received a call that they were ready. When I arrived I was greeted by Star who gave me a shop tour. I was blown away by the availability and equally impressed by the cleanliness. It really is a pristine shop. The quality of the steaks was far superior to any local market. They were beautiful. Thank you for the experience. I will be back.
Just finished our biscuits and gravy from Mitch's after returning home from our first visit. Well worth the extra amount of thought put in to preparing for the visit. Mitch and his staff are very hospitable, knowledgeable and generous with their time. To be honest I left with the feeling of what it must have been like for my great grandmother when she went to the butcher. I know the rules of engagement can be intimidating but if you can push that aside and you will not be disappointed. The level of personal care and attention are what is lacking in most retail experiences. I'm hooked! Thank you Mitch's Meat & Fish team. Did I mention the best biscuits I have ever had? And I've had many a biscuit. I wish I could give you 10 stars!
First time shopper. Arrived a few minutes after opening and there was one in line in front of us. The staff here was incredibly helpful and the cuts of meat present at Mitch's are far superior to anything I can find locally in North Alabama. My wife and I love to travel to Alpharetta for weekend getaways and this place will be somewhere we always stop on our way home.
Fantastic meat shop. Wide range of offerings! Mitch is a true pro and his staff are very amicable. Helped out my super pregnant wife. Venison, gator, scallops, salmon, crad cakes, tons of sausage, custom cuts of steaks, pre cut as well. unique spices as well! You need to try Mitch's magic, turns Mac n cheese to 11! They have a customer for life.
