I was staying in the area on business and this little gem really hit the spot. Family owned and operated and it shows! The food is prepared just like they would at home. Great flavors and friendly service! I forgot to take a picture of my plate because I got busy eating when it came out, LOL! The barracho beans are wonderful and bold, but not to spicy. They're just right. Chips and salsa had great flavor and the chili on the enchiladas really hit the spot! After you're done with dinner, go next door to the Long Branch Saloon (it's the same owners 😉). I'll definitely stop back in the next time I'm in the area!

We came to Round Rock for donuts but then we wanted some tacos. I ordered 2 tacos and they were really filling. Chorizo is really good. Only down side is the salsa could have been spicier. The chips were so light and fluffy. Really good food!

Fresh ingredients, tasty food, and clean. Proverbial hole in the wall in Old Town Round Rock. Owner welcomes you and thanks you for coming when you leave. Felt like home. Their chips are my new favorite chips.

Love their enchiladas, chips and salsa. As good or better than any place I've eaten in Austin, including Matt's, Gueros, Chuy's, etc.

We have become quite the regulars here at Recuerdo’s! We’re here 3-4 times a month, love it here. Beware: the salsa is SPICY but addicting! Consistently great food (even takeout!) and even greater service. My favorite Mexican restaurant in Austin 100%.

The beef enchiladas and chicken enchiladas were fantastic. Handles takeout very well, we did curbside and the food was still good at home. Top tier Mexican food here.
