Cute country cafe with breakfast, soup and sandwiches on the menu. Easy to miss if you're not actually looking for it (and despite a huge sign by the road) but worth looking for! The sandwiches are good sized and the breakfasts are served all day. I wasn't able to experience the bar upstairs though I did get a photo. 😊 I did not get a street view photo or a shot of the front of the building but they offer outdoor dining which was nice on this beautiful day! Highly recommend stopping by if you're in the area!

Luckily I came by on the night that their specials were Mexican themed, although I've heard that their regular menu is great. I will be back to try their burgers and pizzas. Great beer selection. Will also have to come on a night with live music.

The fish stew was excellent! Local place with local folks and local eats. The cook was doing everything in front of us and chatting us up while he made our meal, it was a relaxing and quiet spot for lunch

First time enjoying The Common Cafe and found it to be very nice. The staff was welcoming, the food and drinks were terrific, all in all, a place a little off the beaten path that we'll be sure to visit again!

Great local spot. Food was good at the cafe and for dinner. Came for live music two nights in a row. Both acts were fun. Definitely a good little spot for the climbers to come eat and stay warm. Service was good even though it was quite busy. 4 stars because the beer selection wasn’t the best. They regularly have one person cooking at the breakfast food. They do a fantastic job but i just feel bad since they can have 10 people walk in the door at once. Lastly it’s too bad their conservative beliefs don’t align with most rock climbers. Some of their signs can make people feel unwelcome.

The entire experience was amazing. We ate at the Tavern upstairs last night. My first impression was of the decor upstairs. Rustic live edge siding on the ceiling, old oil or gas lamps, lots of local art hung on the walls. The staff were friendly, attentive, well groomed, clean and for the most part smiling whenever I glanced around. The patrons we're of varied age. It did not appear that the place left anyone feeling unwelcome. Definitely family friendly. We found the place as guests of friends who had received a recommendation from their friends. Word of mouth is abuzz about the tavern. Last night there there was live music and the band was very good. Bluesy, a bit or Rock and even some Zydeco influence. Upbeat and entertaining.

We are in town for a mini vacation, and we went there twice! The quiche is ridiculously good, and the pancakes are home made and served with real maple syrup. The coffee is excellent as well, and the baked goods look really good. We will definitely come back!
