Fun place!!! The lobster grilled cheese was to die for. Tiki Cajun shrimp skewers were very good. I ordered natchos without the chili. I wanted to replace the chili with the pulled pork. That was a no go. They offer pulled pork sandwiches, now I’m confused. So I get the natchos without chili, basically cheese wiz, jalapeños and a side of sour cream for full price. Mind you they offered pulled pork nachos a few months back. They were very good then as well. I still give this place a 5 because the staff is wonderful. It’s the back of the house that needs attention. ( cooks ).
Absolutely WONDERFUL! Our service was perfect and the soup and salad bar was the best we've ever had! I ordered the pistachio-crusted scallops and they were to die for along with the loaded mashed potatoes and roasted veggies! Best meal we've had in a long, long time! Great place to celebrate and we will definitely be back!
Absolutely loved this place! Opened an office In Apollo beach and could not pass checking this place out. Great music and a great waitress named “Beth”. The combination made for an amazing experience. I will be back!
Great Easter Brunch with a beautiful view as well. Food was well prepared, hot and well organized even with a large crowd. Highly recommend.
Went with my husband the other day and the waitress Jessica really made our meal enjoyable she went out of her way to make sure we were happy when we left. I’m gluten free so she recommended the cedar plank salmon and it was to die for. Five stars for food and service.
Peaceful, serene place on the water. Great appetizers, drinks and music. One of my favorites! Thank you Debbie Pye for sharing your secret place. Need to go back soon!

Sunset Grill is properly named; sunset's are awesome, and spectacular from this Bar Grill. We split a grouper sandwich which included fries. Food was plentyfull, and very tasteful and presentation was excellent. Price for meal was a little over 13 bucks. View of the beach and water was simply striking. There are jet skis available and other items for rent at this location. Nice place to spend an afternoon.
We had a great dinner there. My wife said it was the best margarita she has had in some time. The Lobster Grill Cheese plate was fantastic. Our sever Patty was also wonderful. SIt right next to beach and watch the sunset . this is view from our table
We do not live anywhere near Ruskin so this was our first time at Sunset Grill. It has a beautiful waterfront view, with a beach on the property. We just had drinks and the calamari strips which were amazing. They have a lovely cocktail menu, and we hope to go back if we are ever in the area to try all the wonderful sounding entrees on the menu; & the other appetizers looked wonderful as well.
I had the grouper Oscar which is grilled grouper topped with a giant crab cake and drizzled with a creamy shrimp sauce on a bed of rice and asparagus! The flavors were all there! The fish was flaky and juicy! The crab cake was filled with chunks of crab meat! My friend had the grouper sandwich with a slice of American cheese. The fried grouper was so big it hung off both sides of the bun! We also shared fried calamari and coconut shrimp! Everything was fresh and flavorful! Outside seating is available as well as indoor dining. There was a live band playing great music that just sets the vibe! Great atmosphere and the staff is super friendly and gave great suggestions! After dinner you can walk the dock or sit by the fire pit.
Very good food, fun entertainment and great location right on the beach with a fun pier! The fish and chips seemed over cooked to me, the fish was a little dry. But the Oscar grouper was DELICIOUS!
This place is really good. The food is made fresh and the waterside dining is amazing. Sunday brunch is $25 and a buffet. Perfect place to watch the sunset with your significant other. The food is made to order by a chef and the food was amazing. The meatloaf was really good and the blackened chicken pasta was delicious as well. I had the seafood bisque soup which was delicious. The service was amazing, we were attended to very nicely. Will worth a look if you get the chance to come here. They have a resort where you can stay and rent a room. It is a little pricey, but that's what you get when you're on the water.
