I tried Community BBQ for the first time on Thursday. Norman provided excellent service. He was very friendly, knowledgeable about the menu and made great suggestions. I told him I never ordered potato salad at a restaurant because it never compares to my husband's. He took that as a challenge. He brought out a sample to get our feedback. It was actually really good. We enjoyed our food, the atmosphere and the service as well as the patriotic signs on the wall. Well done!! This is our new go to place for BBQ.
Delicious Barbecue. Helpful staff. Good brisket, sausage, and ribs. It is a bit pricey but we do enjoy supporting local businesses. The menu was a bit confusing and needs some refinement. Clearly it is a work in progress. They DO BANANA PUDDING RIGHT using vanilla pudding with sliced bananas and crispy nilla wafers on the side.
Always amazing. I didn’t try them until recently and am so glad I did. During this quarantine I’ve ordered take out once a week. Food is always good and always consist (important when you only get out one day a week). I call in my order and able to do curbside pick up. Can pay when I get there or over the phone. Everyone is super friendly and the quality of food is amazing.
I recommend the fried fish plate and/or ribs with green beans but I’ve tried much of the menu and 5 out of 5 for everything.
Great food & service! Very friendly & fun atmosphere. Food is a bit higher priced, but well worth it. This was my 3rd visit & I highly recommend!
Today was the first time I came across this BBQ joint. I don't do a lot of work in the Wylie area and I've been on a massive kick lately for chopped beef sandwich. I'm stopping in different barbecue places throughout my travels for my job. I do have to say for the chopped beef sandwich this place is up in my top three so far. I would like to say that Charlie the Pitmaster has done a very excellent job at cooking this meat it is very moist and tender and flavorful.

Found out about this place from a wedding catering event. The young ladies working the event were awesome, but the food was indescribable. Just went to the actual place. Everything was amazing. And I don't just mean the food. The people were as incredible as the food they serve. They WILL be catering our wedding, and we WILL be to the location again just to enjoy.
