Easily one of the best chocolates in Northern California, hands down! You also MUST try their hot Chocolate drinks, absolutely delicious and rich, right amount of sweetness, and you can not get enough so make sure you order the larger size. Parking isn't easy, but not terrible. There are lots of great choices on custom and many flavors of top-notch chocolates and drinks, making this a must for chocolate lovers.
They also have some great macaroons and merchandise.
Brought my daughter and mother here today for a little dessert for her birthday 🎉🎂
It is so cute inside. We ordered hit chocolate and some macarons.
I had the Oaxican hot chocolate 8 oz 6.25. they offer you either mini marshmallows or whip cream or both. I had both. The chocolate is very good. I did not taste any spice. I really enjoyed the flavor of it. Very rich and decadent. I definitely would order this again.
My mom had the regular hot chocolate and loved it and my daughter the rose chocolate. She really loved it.
We ordered 6 macarons which came to 15.00
Pumpkin pie... Amazing flavor
Salty Caramel... Good but very sweet
Chocolate ... Very good
Snicker doodle... Very good
They have a light snap on the outside. The middle amazing.
I have also tried their pastries.. they are absolutely yummy.
If you want a nice treat... This place is awesome.
The confections and baked goods here are fantastic and I would highly recommend visiting while in Sacramento. You can tell everything here is lovingly crafted and made with quality ingredients. I tried the American hot chocolate which was rich and creamy and the cinnamon roll which had a tasty frosting. Last but not least the cinnamon toast is dangerous! It’s prepared on their homemade brioche which is a shining star on its own. I would go back for that item alone. I hope to be back soon enough and try their signature chocolates and macarons.
Lovely desserts and ALMOST too pretty to eat. Loved our visit and the amazing people who created those treats.
First time coming here. Parking is a bit challenging. It’s a bit hidden since it’s in a multi business building, it’s the first business on your right as soon as you walk in. However once in, the place is cute and neat. Nice pink in and out the business. They also carry interesting items such as boxes of chocolates, jam, coffee bar soaps. They also make the pastries there, so the pastries are fresh. The staff is very friendly and efficient. The line went quick since they have multiple employees, which is awesome. They do have indoor dining and outdoor too. I ordered 1 latte coffee, 1 oaxacan spice hot chocolate and 2 pastries = $26. Overall delicious pastries not to sweet, which I enjoy. The hot chocolate was very unique in flavor, it was a bit sweet but enjoyed the blend. The coffee was very delicious felt the caffeine immediately. Overall great place, highly recommend.
The chocolates and desserts here are not only beautiful but tasty. Today we had the caramel cupcake dessert in a jar and a peppermint cocoa, both of which were delicious. We’ve been here before and the jarred caramel is also good. Super cute shop with great gifts too.
The best croissants I have eaten so far!
Really friendly team, very clean cafe, tasty food and great coffee!
I had an absolutely delicious Oaxacan mocha, it was a bit too sweet but enjoyable.
WOW!! So many great things about this place! Start with location, atmosphere and the decor. All are fantastic. It is so welcoming and has a great vibe to it. Also it is very clean! Next the employees. They were all very friendly and helpful. Able to answer questions about the different pastries, great customer service. THE FOOD! It is really good. Breakfast sandwich with sausage and potatoes is very filling! The tomato jam ties it all together. We got a few different pastries and all were delicious. The drunken monkey bread is ridiculously good! The chocolate crasount is light and very good and has an amazing filling. Cinnamon roll is packed with flavor and there is just enough extra sweetness from the frosting to bring it all home. The biscuits were really good as well, perfectly cooked. You gotta stop by and check this place out!!
The staff is always so friendly and sweet! Their items always look and taste perfect. Good gift items, too.
I like their coffee over most coffee shops.
Definitely worth the visit. Their quality is top tier.
I still pray they bring back their potato breakfast sandwich!
Nice bakery. Love the chocolate and the different pastries. This spot has sandwiches for breakfast/brunch which seems popular. At times the place is packed with customers which limit the experience but I guess that is the price of having a great product. We take a can of chocolate home to do our own hot chocolate. Overall, highly recommend to visit.
Very interesting experience. We started with the kraken, which is a "smoked" salmon sandwich on a squid ink croissant. The squid ink does not do much of anything to the flavor but it does create a dark black color. The sandwich is supposed to be smoked salmon, but it was so far from smoked that it was basically raw. The overall sandwich was tasty but definitely something that is not for everyone. We also got a chocolate au pan, which was very flaky with just a strip of chocolate in the middle. As well as the pumpkin pie macaroon, which was basically a bite size pumpkin pie. And lastly was the pumpkin pecan muffin which fit its name to a T.
Awesome desserts.. they run out of all great bakery items real quick. Better visit them in the morning
Cute desert spot, high end chocolates, macaroons, and hot chocolate...don't count calories if you are planning to stop in. Staff was friendly, helpful and patient. It's a small shop and can get crowded quickly. No real place to sit or hangout so plan to order and go.
I got two pastries take out from here. The bread pudding and apple croissant were both delicious and not too sweet. I find that many bakeries often make their pastries ridiculously sweet but this strikes a perfect balance. It was more expensive, of course, but I would definitely come back for more.
Absolutely world class. The location is really cute but might be easy to walk by because the patisserie is in its own suite next to a waiting room for a hair studio. Anyway, the staff is so so friendly and I loved talking to them and getting their insight/recommendations. I was a first time visitor and shared about myself and really appreciated their genuine interest in connecting with me. The product itself is so beautiful and quite honestly you’ll just want to look at it for half an hour before you take a bite! I got the pistachio cruffin but could have easily been happy with a blueberries scone or their almond croissant. Oh and excellent decaf!! Bravo!!
I discovered Ginger Elizabeth via Doordash. I was craving hot chocolate and wanted a different kind. When my order arrived, it came with a nice paper bag, and the hot chocolate was by far the best I had. That's when I started buying other goodies like the cookies and macarons, and just recently, I finally got the chance to check out their physical store. It was so quaint, and the service is phenomenal!
Literally THE BEST CHOCOLATE in the United States. That's not hyperbole either! If you're in the area, you have to check them out. Like, you have to. Everything is delicious, everything is absolutely high quality. It's pricey, yes, but absolutely worth the cost
