Serviice was great, servers friendly, large menu to choose from. Prices $8-12 for main meal, desserts about $7. But big enough to share. Lots of parking in lot. Indoor and a patio with large umbrellas. We are definately going again.
My favorite place! There's other crepe places around town. Just can't even try. Been going here since it was at Town and Country. My favorite is the Karma crepe with spicy batter. Or the blueberry crepe. And the garlic lovers appetizer! Plus everything else. ❤️Best way is to go with a friend and get both and share!!!!!
Love Danielle's Creperie (Crepe Danielle). I have loved it since the late 70's when they served amazing crepes from a small trailer mid-town to their restaurant at 24th and J to the spot at Town and Country Village until now. The menu has been fabulous over the years. The service continues to be impeccable. I just love Danielle's Creperie!
Exceptional good and service!! My only thing is I ordered hot tea and only got one tea bag. I like when restaurants offer a little basket of tea.
Good food , my spinach and mushroom crepé was very tasty 😋 service was ok , felt a little rushed
We've never had any issues whenever we come here. When I was pregnant I craved for their Tuna Salad Sandwich! We've also enjoyed their Crepe Normandy, Crab & Spinach Crepe, Escargot, Garlic bread and Waffles. Ok, I'm salivating! We will definitely miss them now that we've moved to the Bay!
I usually get one of the breakfast crepes. Always good. Service is excellent too.
One word....Delicious!! I ordered the Crab and Spinach Crepe and requested mushrooms be added.....and it was!
Great company - Good food - Excellent service!
I hit the Tri-fecta in the dining experience for lunch!
Great service..great food..best french onion soup around: )
Absolutely loved it ! Great taste and value ! Breakfast crepes were delicious! Can't wait to go back to try lunch or dinner !
The food is always really good--fresh, perfectly seasoned, and delicious. We enjoy the Fuji salad, the Bolognese, and sliders. Plus, the turkey BLT. You can't go wrong with those choices, for sure!
I had our food to go and it was excellent. Love the French dip with au jus and the French onion soup.
One Soup - French Onion Soup!!! So awesome. Crepes, wine and a lovely gathering spot for a nice bite to eat.
Outstanding variety All prepared to order. Great food of all sorts from gazpacho with shrimp cucumber, and avocado to French onion soup to other deleicious soups.s to sandwiches to dessert crepes. soups and sandwich combos Prices are riciicoulsy low for what you get!!
My favorite
I had the Spinach, Tomato, And Feta crepe. It was really light and oh so good. I had a strawberry crepe for dessert and it was rather simple. It was kind of disappointing, but I still enjoyed my time there. The staff was really friendly and made sure we were doing okay. I intend to go back again.
Love the Karma Crepe and French Onion Soup. We love to come here often for the best French Onion Soup in Sacramento. Two sizes to choose from. Hearty, filling and with lots of cheese.
My favorite crepe is the Karma. Think East Indian flavors with breast meat chicken inside and a spoonful of sweet chutney and cashews on top. Yum! Still haven't had room for dessert. May have to make a separate trip for that!
Excellent service, delicious Normandy crepe and the Tres Leche is to die for!
Love Their Dessert Crepes!. My husband loves their chocolate and banana crepes, but my all-time favorite is their traditional crepes with lemon, sugar and butter...mmm...!!!
The Goddess and I were craving a good breakfast and decided to pop in to Danielle’s as we hadn’t been in years and it was a good call. The service was excellent and it was comfortable and chill inside. The food was delicious and worth returning for more. They offer outside seating for those enjoying the fresh air while they dine. They are conveniently located with plenty of parking.
Very good experience, slightly above average across the board. While their prices may seem a bit high at first, they give very large portions so maybe just scale back on your order.
I had two double cappuccinos back to back and they were pretty inconsistent. The crepe dishes are really big, and I had to try the French onion soup so we had quite a bit of leftovers.
The French Onion soup is very good. Top tier, and worthy of a visit on its own. They use soo much cheese and the cheese pull is so good. It's great, just go try it. Recommend the 16oz because it's like $1.50 more for twice the size. Just really amazing. The French onion soup is a 5 star for me, the rest of my ratings stand.
Edit: Second visit was on par with the first. French onion soup was consistently delicious.
I'm surprised on how much I LOVE their version of Eggs Benedict. Instead of ham steak on an English muffin they do black forest deli ham on a baguette, so it's kind of like an open faced sandwich meets eggs Benedict. Plus they make their hollandaise sauce in house from scratch, rather than using the stuff from a packet. Bright flavor from the sauce complemented the creamy texture, and crispness of the toasted baguette marvelously.
The dessert crepe I got I custom ordered strawberries in the banana crepe. I feel like giving them the benefit of the doubt here.
The constructive criticism I'd offer is the beat the crepe batter less. The crepe was a bit tough and chewy - a sign of the batter being over beaten. I know if the batter is not beat enough the crepe will fall apart because of it being tender and delicate. It's a balancing act and I recognize it's not easy to get perfect. The chocolate was nice, if it were me I'd sprinkle some kaldon flake salt or kosher sea salt on top to add depth of flavor to the rich semi sweet drizzle.
This is my first time in and the first thing I've had. Service is kind and friendly.
Physical environment looks a bit worn, and kind of bland. Neutral colors are good, but there's not much character to the environment.
I'm going to start with the food - 😋
This was my first time here. We were looking for something different - found it!
They offer a little of everything and we tried a little of everything. I even ordered quiche meal to take home 😉 we were seated pretty quickly despite it being brunch time on a weekend. The servers were doing their best for as busy as they were. Indoor and outdoor dining is available. Their menu has something fir everyone and any dietary need. Clean, family friendly. Reminded me a bit of a neighborhood diner where everyone knew everyone - that type of ambiance. I will be returning definitely- the only negative 😕 there is a charge for not using cash
The restaurant was clean and not at all busy on a Monday at 11am. Or first time we both decided to order the daily brunch special. The croissant was toasted and served with jam and butter. The fruit was cantaloupe and strawberries with whipped cream. The crepe omelette is an omelette word in a crepe. It was thick and difficult to cut. It tasted just ok.
The coffee was decent, nothing special. The lady walking around with the coffee pot never let my wife or I get below half a cup she was wonderful. The waiter guy moved to the patio and forgot about us but, the coffee lady was visiting so often she rescued the review from being just 3⭐.
My family and I have been coming to this place for decades. It’s amazing French food without the fluff. The crepes are all amazing and made to order. We love the karma crepe (chicken curry) the artichoke heart and ham crepe, and the Spanish crepe is amazing too. Definitely check out the chocolate fudge crepe and the tres leches for desert. The French onion soup and side salad are great starters. Service is fine, atmosphere is bright and friendly. A perfect pace with family or a chill spot to take your grandma. Granada’s love this place.
Excellent place for Crepes, with plenty of selections to choose from. Service was on point. Nice and clean interior. They're also serving alcohol as well, but since we were there for brunch, i didn't get to see what kind of alcohol selections they offer. Saw a bunch of wine bottles on display. Plenty of parking in the lot outside.
The crepes are delicious, the portions are moderate, and sides are extra. If you are a party of 2, the menu suggests split a savory and a dessert crepe, we did a mushroom and spinach, and a raspberry chocolate crepes. Yummy!
If you're craving an authentic French dining experience, look no further than this remarkable restaurant. From the moment we tasted the first bite of our perfectly cooked French Onion Soup and Beef Bourguignon Crepe, we knew we had discovered a culinary gem. The attention to detail, paired with a carefully curated wine selection, made our evening an absolute delight.
In a word: wonderful! I really enjoyed the food here. There were lots of menu items to choose from. The crêpes were very large and filled with lots of great cheese, veggies and meats depending on what you ordered. The French onion soup was delicious, a must try at any French restaurant worth it's name. I will definitely return to try some of the other menu items.
This is a great spot for breakfast. We loved the toasted baguette that came with the breakfast special. It was perfectly buttered and crispy. The crapes and eggs Benedict were fabulous. The staff here is super professional and very friendly.
I recommend to ask for a spinach/mushroom crepe and add chicken. It’s yummy and more filling that way.
Their clam chowder is reddish, different. Their smoked salmon Benedict is way too fishy.
Their croissants with preserves are delish.
Excellent service!!! Delicious crepes, best place for french onion soup.
UPDATE Oct 2023
My mother in law wanted to eat crêpe and since she was visiting us from Mexico, we took her there, she & my father in law liked the choices they made (fresh strawberries crêpe & breakfast ham/cheese crêpe with added mushrooms, they shared) , the service was EXCELLENT and everyone was very attentive even tho we were a party of 7 during an almost full restaurant (most tables were 4 people max) . My daughter favorite crêpe is the traditional Nutella & strawberries, this time, I got the Christine Favor Crêpe (which was sweeter than I expected but still I enjoyed it)
I had the Potato and egg scramble with a pancake on the side. Flavor was great and the potatoes were perfectly crisped. Leftovers the next day were just as delicious!
Owner Alias, along with Maria, Anna, chef, and team, are kind and stay aware of your needs. Wonderful and pleasant experience. Tasty food
Love the French onion soup - arguably the best in town. Karma Crepe delicious with peach chutney, cashews, and cayenne pepper! Relaxed atmosphere 😎.
Staff is excellent and very attentive. Ordered the California Benedict and a capuchinno. My food was exceptional. Menu is diverse so you have many choices. Their environment is comfortable and cozy. You must dine here soon. Looking forward to another visit.
