Hands down the best place to go have the best pizza in town. Anything you order is delicious, the staff are amazing and the owner is always there...ready to welcome you or thank you for stopoing by! Been coming here for over 25 years!
We always go to Roma's pizzaria on Folsom Blvd for dinner after our car shows. The service is great and the food is the best. No other pizza place can compare. I would recommend anything on the menu.....all their food is good. If you haven't tried them...your missing out !!!!
What other pizza places. There are 3 places to get pizza all in the same block. Roma’s is in a league of its own when it comes to pizza. This place is like the steak and lobster of pizza goodness. The ingredients are premium and although you pay a little more, you won’t be disappointed.
This sweet little family-run restaurant serves the most amazing food! Last night I ordered two pizzas as a walk-in and they were done in 20 minutes. Perfectly!!! Very generous toppings, fresh sauce, perfectly baked crust.... I won’t go anywhere else for pizza in Sac again. Period. Hands down awesomeness!
Best pizza in Sacramento, been going there since I was very little. Was always a treat in my younger years, and I can count on memories with every bite. Great staff who are very accommodating and friendly. My Dad (rip) loved this place, and I continue the tradition with my little ones.
By far the best pizza in Sacramento. The pizza of the month is always a hit. We run into the owner, Maria, at the farmers market on Saturdays. Always the best and freshest ingredients.
Great service too.
Hungry just thinking about it.
Our favorite pizza in Sacramento!! Love the food, service, the family that owns it and the prices! We drive an hour one way to get this pizza because it's best!! The next day, the leftovers are eaten cold because it's that good! Yummmmmmmm!!
So delicious, this is my second time there and this time I brought extra people so they could experience this delicious pizza.. the cheese is delicious and the salad is delicious with the house dressing so so so so yum. Yum yum yum I will definitely return maybe for pasta next time...
My uncle took me here when I was visiting for lunch ... Best place on earth !!!! Next time in California I will be back !!!! love the food and staff
My wife and I have been looking for a pizza joint that just makes our eyes roll back. We found it !! These guys are the best !!

We have been going there since 1982. Only pizza we eat. The staff is the best❤️❤️
Sooo good! Really good pizza. Salad was amazing with ripe red tomatoes that looked like they were straight from a garden.
Excellent margarita pizza, tasty marinara sauce on pasta, yummy meatballs and fresh, crisp salads served by the gracious owner.
Superb way to put a smile on the faces of these visitors to the city. Recommended by our Sac resident sister. Well chosen, sista!
It’s a Saturday evening (11/4) and the family is hungry. This place is near our area and thought we’d give it a try. The restaurant is located in a weird spot and parking is a bit limited in the front and in the back shared by several businesses. We got lucky and grabbed one of the last parking spots when we arrived which was around 6pm or so. We were able to get a table no problem for a party of 7. The place and atmosphere is inviting and cozy a 5/5. Our server was great. Friendly, polite, and not overwhelming. We didn’t have to wait too long to get our food after placing our order, maybe within 15 minutes or so. So service is a definite 5/5. The food presentation is as good as any pizzas I’ve seen in other places so a 5/5. The pizza is heavier on the bread side though as others have said. I personally prefer my pizzas to have less bread and more toppings but it’s a personal preference. The taste was good for a local eatery here. Not over seasoned or over done either. Definitely enjoyable. Even though the taste did not disappoint, I’ve personally had much tastier pizzas elsewhere so I’d give the food a 4/5. It's a different experience. We probably spent about $175 for the evening that included salad, beer, pizzas, and cannoli. Value to price ratio is about a 4/5 for a pizza dinner. Overall impression is a 4.5/5. Definitely recommend folks to give this place a try. It’s good food. The place gives out a good vibe, warmer feel, higher quality experience than your traditional Mountain Mikes or Round Table Pizza. Would definitely return. Find this review helpful? Give it a thumbs up below.
This establishment is the very best from service to food to cleanliness. The half chef salad is enough for two loaded with Italian meats and cheese the pie is superior to any . Medium pepperoni with onion and half chef salad with garlic cheese bread like 51 Dollars plus tip. Do not miss this place !
We love this place! The lasagna is amazing! The service is always fantastic. The food is always delicious. That's why they've been open for so many years.
Pizza was good, and I enjoyed it. Although, it was too hot and the cheese just kept coming off every single one of our slices. The cheese finally stopped coming off after the pizza was just warm and not hot. The penny pesto was very good. I very much enjoyed that plate. Service was just three stars since the lady did not come to us after we got all our food. She came when we basically finished the meal, and because of that I didn't want a refill in my water anymore. I had to savor all I had during the whole meal. It was busy so I will admit that. Due to that I did not tip since all she did was bring out our food.
All the food here is delicious. We ordered a pizza and it was probably one of the best I've ever tried!
Edit 6/17/2023: Tried some subs here, all very tasty but none of the subs come with ANY vegetables (apart from the veggie sandwich). They wanted to charge us $1.25 for each topping (onion, tomato etc). A bit underwhelming, unfortunately. I am going to stick to their pizza and pasta.
Saw the pictures of the meals and had to stop. We've never been before but we were so glad we found this place. Food was amazing and Jeanette was very sweet. The pesto was fantastic. The meatball was exactly what a meatball should taste like. Roma Pizzeria is now added to our must stop list when traveling thru the area.
This is one of my favorite places on the planet. Anything with Pesto is my favorite. Pesto pizza with chicken is heaven! When you walk into this place, they treat you like family.
My girlfriend was getting her nails done nearby and I noticed this place. It looked interesting and I love Pizza so I came in to give it a try.
I love the interior, it brings me back to my childhood. It isn’t dated, more like a call back to a simpler time when you would go out and eat with your family as a kid.
I ordered the 1-topping pizza with Pepperoni. The total came out to be about $18 - BUT TOTALLY WORTH IT!
Here’s the details:
1. Crust is crispy and delicious. Flavorful and tastes home made.
2. Pepperoni had a good spice to it, and wasn’t overly greasy.
3. The cheese pull was amazing, and there is a lot of it but I love cheese. Any 90s kids who remember the cheese of 90s cartoons pizza needs to come here. This is the goofy movie pizza you’ve dreamed of.
4. The red sauce is fantastic. A bit tart, and not overly sweet like chain restaurants. This is an actual SAUCE - it makes a huge difference.
Here’s the only reason why I knocked it down a star. I’d give 4.5 if I could:
Customer Service
Maybe it was because I was one dude getting a pizza for myself, or that there were bigger groups to serve but the service felt cold. I could see the server having good conversations with other customers but he seemed to give me the cold shoulder. I’m not sure what it is. He seemed like a nice guy. Maybe it’s just me.
Other than that the location was clean, nostalgic, and the vibes were good. Great place for the family.
This is the best pizza I’ve had in sac. Better than Luigis, better than old world, better than Zelda’s, and FAR better than any chain you’ve been too.
Update, 5/18/23:
This is my second time here and this is now my favorite pizza place in Sacramento!
Everything has such a unique and REAL taste to it. I’m not sure what they do with the dough but it is so flavorful.
I ordered the Margarita and Spring Lamb Pizza. Both were delicious, the Spring Lamb bring a standout dish.
Compared to last time, service was much much better. Very friendly, helpful, and warm. My server was welcoming and kind.
I’ll be coming here often!
I got the margarita pizza from Roma‘s and I had LOVED IT! After ordering a large one night to have pizza and wine with some friends, I went back the very next night and got the exact same pizza again! Everything was so fresh. The woman at the restaurant told me she picks out the tomatoes from the farmers market every morning, and it definitely tasted that way! The basil was incredible the bread was light and fluffy, it felt like a REAL pizza that came out of somebody’s kitchen rather than something you would settle for after getting the drunchies. I asked to add marinara sauce on mine because I am a person who loves sauce, and loves tomatoes. I couldn’t have been happier with this experience, the large cost $31 so while dominos may to two for $5.99 the truth is you get the quality you pay for and this is worth every penny. If you were looking for an incredible pizza, one that’s actually worth remembering and talking about, look no further you have to try this place!
Great first date night spot ir simply for a family night out or any occasion really. It has a warm cozy vibe and despite the busy foot traffic the service is amazing and very quick to check on your table even while busy helping others. 😀
Definitely my go to place for pizza. The house salad is a must along side and pizza u get. Meatballs are to die for if u do choose a pasta vs pizza at this Italian restaurant. 😋
The best pizza I have in years...Place is kinda small, but packed with hungry people.
Food is always the best. Sauce for pastas cannot be beat.
Everything is very fresh. Salads are crispy with just the right amount of cheese.
Prices are reasonable.
Wonderful pizza. I've been here a number of times over the years but not recently due to no longer living in the area. Doesn't change the fact that every pizza I got from this business was incredibly delicious, great crust and toppings, as fresh as can be. Good value for the money. Keep in mind you're buying a premium pizza made with premium ingredients.
One of the last old Italian style pizzerias, and don't neglect the homemade pastas, ravioli and spaghetti. Definitely worth a visit.
First time. Definitely enjoyed the food it was delicious, aside that the crust/thickness of the the bread was a bit much for my preference; the crust itself was great (some sort of seasoning) not just plain. As you can see from the picture they are definitely not stingy on the toping so that's a plus. We asked for the half pesto (add on was chicken and tomatoes; it's our preference taste get over it) and the other half house special. The wait time was not bad. The server was very kind and respectful. Gave us the rundown on the menu. The price is perfect for the pizza size. Honestly do see myself going back for there delicious pizza maybe try there pasta.
Casual atmosphere. Fast service. We got a small pepperoni pizza for two people, no other sides, and we still took 1/2 home. Love the pizza!! They could, however, select another brand of sparkling wine. Something low priced but commercially known would be fine.
Great dining experience. The atmosphere is so friendly and welcoming. Food was delicious and fresh. Great service!
Excellent pizza, and their customer service is exceptional. You will not be disappointed.
