Such a great spot! The sauce on the steak tips dish, I would put that on anything! The lamb chops were so good and perfectly cooked. We enjoyed everything we ordered including the cocktails!
We shared the soup of the day, cream of mushroom, lamb and curry samosa, and the lunch paella. They were all very good. We sat outside, and our server was very friendly and good at her job.
First time eating here, service good even better when explanation of food was given. Delicious lamb dish(Cordero) tapa burger with potatoes! Deserts yummy
One of the best dining experiences I have ever had. Beautiful live music to couple along with flawlessly executed international flavors across all meats, vegetables, AND seafood. Unbelievable cocktails and incredible dessert. Kind and timely service. Can’t complain about a single thing! A must try for the SAC food scene.
This spot has the most authentic small plates dishes outside of Spain. I’ve been here many times and it’s perfect for groups, date night, or if you just want to grab an adult beverage or Spanish wine and Pinchos. Love the dimly lit vibe with outdoor seating available. Tasty dishes like the paella de mariscos, Ras el Hanout Ahi, empanadas, croquettes are all on point. The lamb is also delicious. Make room for dessert; the flan and their fruit empanadas are delicious. Their ingredients/spices and chilies are native to Spain. There’s nothing like it in Sacramento. It’s definitely a must try!!
This is one of my favorite restaurants in sac! I come here probably a couple times a month. It’s a go to when I have friends and family visiting. The prices are great, food is delicious, and the drinks are amazing!!! Highly recommend the sangria it’s mmmmmm so good. I love when they have live music!!! The spanish guitar really perfects the vibe of this place and makes for an overall very pleasant and enjoyable dining experience!!!!
The food is delicious! The ambiance is nice. It did feel a little cold inside and never warmed up. The waitress was not friendly or welcoming at all. Just ignore her and enjoy your food. 😆
I Really loved this place. Same average prices as anywhere else in Sacramento for a drink. Food was delicious! Just overall great experience and can’t wait to come back. The servers were very friendly.
Experience authentic delicious fresh classic style Spanish Tapas in a vibrant and lively midtown restaurant, with a great ambiance and vibe!! All the items we ordered, from the amazing grilled octopus, fresh Mediterranean salad, grilled vegetables and mixed olives where very flavorful, fresh and beautifully prepared. The wait staff and owner where friendly, attentive and on point.
Reservations not required. We visited on a Saturday late afternoon and where seated in a few minutes, with cold drinks in hand shortly after that. We had a lovely dinner and will definitely be coming back!! A midtown gem.
Came across this place by chance. Based on reviews and picture, I was interested, especially because the taps selection looked amazing. Did a reservation via Resi. Upon arrival, we were immediately seated. The place had several parties but was not pack. There was one waiter doing most of the service. This was a bit of a concern. When he finally made it to our table, we ordered 5-6 tapas and two cocktails. We were surprised that the food arrive 10-15 minutes later. The croquettes and empanadas were amazing. The tortilla was good but a bit on the cold side. The gambas were good but small and did not come with bread. The other tapas were really good but not memorable. Cocktails were good and the selection was decent. I definitely will go back, but will lower expectations. And next time will order the paella which looked great.
Had a wonderful time here! Everything was absolutely delicious! We had a mix of cocktails, wine, tapas, salad and a sandwich. Loved and devoured every last bit
This place is a nice little gem in midtown. The service was great, I really liked the communication. When a dish takes longer then most of the dishes the waitress let us know the approximate wait time. My favorite was the appetizers. The calamari was delicious but what really set it off was the dipping sauce. I will say the sauce with the potatoes was a bit underwhelming, it was basically spaghetti sauce; at least it was better than ketchup.
Amazing! Couldn’t recommend more. Everything was incredible tasty and fresh and you could tell that it was all cooked with quality ingredients and passion. Chef Marcos could not have been nicer too. Him and his wife run this place and obviously Covid has been tough on business, but they have a great patio dining area and are ready to get back to serving the community! Can’t go wrong in supporting this local, independently owned spot. :)
Always a fun place to hang out. It was totally full but we ate at the bar. I really never have anything bad to say about this place other than the bathroom being in a weird place not really in the restaurant but thankfully they have a code now and no one single key.
The food was some of the most flavorful I’ve ever had and the service was impeccable and thoughtful. I am beyond impressed with my experience. The ambience was beautiful and I felt like I was in another part of the world away from all the hustle and bustle of Sacramento’s busy streets. Warm and inviting I absolutely adored every small detail. Food presentation was pure art. Thank you for the wonderful time! I look forward to many more !!!
I love this restaurant. We’ve been coming here for years and the food, ambiance and hosts are always top notch.
We came for my husband’s birthday last night and got the best of the best, both in food and in service. We had delicious wine recommended by the waiter. Menu included champignons, eggplant, chef’s Gambas, and the amazing beef tips in plum sauce. But our favorite is the mussels which bring down the house.
This is one of our favorite Sacramento restaurants. Enjoy!
