A good, solid American breakfast. Generous portions and crispy bacon. Potatoes could have been a tad crispier for my liking, but overall, the food was great for the price and convenient for an airport meal (don't need to go anywhere, it's right at the airport). Nice spot for small or large groups, cozy atmosphere with fun decor. Only downside is that it seems to be a popular spot and shorthanded staff means long waits to be seated, get your food, and pay the bill; though everyone was very friendly and were trying their hardest. Come here for the food/views, not the service- it will still be a good experience.
This is my favorite place to take my family to breakfast and lunch. The 70's vibe and great food and prices make it my go to place whenever I'm visiting my family in Sacramento CA. The various collections of random mugs, the great service, abundant options from great eggs and sides to pancakes, french toast to salads and entrees including Chinese fried rice!
They have senior discounts for age 55 and over and the prices overall are simply great for what you get here. Try the little wood barrel tables on the upper floor.
On top of all this, you get to watch smaller airplanes take off at the airport while having a fabulous meal!
Aviator's Restaurant & Catering is a great restaurant and bar located at the Sacramento Executive Airport.
Aviator's Restaurant & Catering serves breakfast and lunch daily, provide great customer service, and have reasonable prices.
Seared in the restaurant, you can enjoy watching planes and helicopters take off and land.
After a meal, you can stroll around the airport and enjoy outdoor seating along the tarmac and runways to watch airport operations up close. A real treat for younger children.
Do yourself a favor and give Aviator's Restaurant & Catering a try; you will not be disappointed!

Located at sacramento executive airport. This is a local go-to restaurant. Food is great and extremely reasonable. Service is very attentive and will go out of their way to ensure you have a great experience. If you like watching airplanes come and go give them a try.
The food was good. Pictured is the steak and eggs with potatoes, then the chicken fried steak with potatoes as well and then a short stack of pancakes. I did have my taste buds set on orange juice but they ran out of it and apple juice, so I had to settle for coffee which tasted watered down. The service was okay, I think they did alright for only having (from what I saw) two servers and one guy doing just drink orders and two cooks. It's not an easy feat but they pulled it off.
What's also great in my mind is the small menu, not like some places that have 4 pages of food to choose from where this place has just a simple front and back menu. I definitely would like to go back on a weekday, not a holiday weekday and try the other items. Would I recommend, absolutely.
Had a great time here while visiting Sacramento in August 2022. I live near a small airport and airport diner so I was excited to try out an old school airport restaurant. This place is so classic and classy. Friendly service throughout our visit. Love the decor and the big windows to see planes and helicopters taking off and landing. Really enjoyed my BMJ omelet (Bacon((a ton of bacon!)) Mushrooms Jack Cheese). Good coffee. Great place to come with a group or big family. They had two round alcove type booths that looked so neat. Definitely would come back.
My uncle's favorite restaurant for American and Chinese food. Owner (and head chef) and staff are friendly and hard-working. The restaurant was reserved after regular hours for a birthday buffet and it was delicious. Can't say about the regular menu but was informed most of the buffet items are on their regular menu, too, so sounds like a win all the way around. It's at the airport and you get nice views of the planes landing and taking off.

Met a friend here for breakfast today and Aviator’s never disappoints! Had the hamburger steak and eggs with their (bacon fried rice - off menu, ya gotta ask for it) and it totally hit the spot!
They’re only open for breakfast and lunch and I highly recommend this place if you’re in the area!
My father's and I favor place to meet, and eat. Every Monday for years!, and to know how the building owner is treating his tenant is uncalled for. I hope my father and I can keep coming for years to come, but only if it's the same people. Love you Aviators
Really a unique location with a good feel, good food, service, and ambiance. Good menu selection with ample portions. Watch the runway of this quiet airport or gaze at vintage plane models overhead.
An interesting place, located inside a small aircraft airport, and decorated appropriately. Although it is mostly a brunch spot, I opted for the Stir Fry Chicken, which, although wasn’t the best one I’ve ever had, was quite decent. Also, it seems to be the most reasonably priced restaurant in the area. I’ll be back.
Great service for a group of twenty. Waitress took care of our every need. Food was excellent, hot and fast service. Was with a Church Men's Prayer Breakfast Group. Highly recommend the restraunt and the Prayer Group. Let's Pray.
It’s my home away from home. Great food, great chef, service, prices and ambiance. It’s a Sacramento ambassador and treasure. Chik is a wonderful Sacramento ambassador for delicious food and a warm, welcoming place.
I brought a group for breakfast this morning. The restaurant was very busy. We had wonderful service and food. A big thanks to all the staff for a wonderful breakfast.
We got there at 10am and the place was packed! We had to wait just a couple minutes, but got seated with a view of the airstrip. The place is beautifully decorated and the food was delicious! Mildly pricier than I expected, but still quite reasonable.
