Yeah buddy! This place is like no other. Good food and good service. The sandwich meat is sliced to order. I got the lunch special Mixed Grill, (beef, pork and pastrami in BBQ sauce) enough for two people or save for later. There a two window tables for dining which are neat.

Bud's is a fantastic little spot. I'd never heard about it while going to Sam's for the longest time but now I'm a convert. Got the 2 meat plate with pastrami and BBQ pork and my God it was fantastic. I need to keep going back as I'm pretty sure I'm addicted to their gravy and their pastrami is absolutely fantastic. I'm a big fan of thick cut meat, but I'll make the exception for Bud's. It was. GREAT.

I always enjoy coming to buds. It's a simple cafeteria style lunch place with great sandwiches. I enjoy the hero sandwich, but the roast beef is my recommended choice, especially buds Diablo sandwich. I have yet to try the lasagna, but I've heard great things about it. If you ever have a sandwich craving in downtown sac, come here.

Same great sliced meats. You can have spicy diablo style with any meat. We also ask for aujus to dip, you will need to use all the napkins they give you...

Hands down the Best Roast Beef Sandwich & Dip I've ever had the pleasure of eating. Been many times and will continue to go. Get extra meat if it's your thing you'll be absolutely stuffed. Enjoy drinking the left over Au Jus... you just can't help it.. Oh, maybe order one for dinner later too..

I've just been to lunch here for the first time today. I had a 'Big Bud' with roast beef and pastrami with everything on it. The meat is hot and sliced infront of you whilst you wait. So the meat is tender, hot, juicy and full of flavor...but with the side of dipping gravy takes the sandwich to the next level. I new favorite sandwich shop

Love this place! I've been coming here for decades...it's THAT good. They roast their own meats and the sandwiches are piled high. The family that owns this restaurant are very kind and helpful. If you're looking for Fancy, this isn't it. If your looking for Great food and a good price this IS it. There's always a line but they're worth the wait. Go! You'll love it!

Unpretentious old school sandwich spot. Big juicy French Dip with killer gravy that is a food group itself.

Went in for the first time last week. Still thinking about the fresh and delicious Roast Beef sandwich that I had. It was great, especially for the quality, and price. Busy little place but they get down in there. I definitely will be coming back for another sandwich soon.

Awesome sandwich. Truly the best pastrami and jue in town. Great bread, slivers of onion, fresh lettuce. It's just the bomb for my palate. Same taste for last twenty plus years

Huge sandwiches, and almost always a good experience. Be prepared to wait a bit if you come at lunchtime, but it's for good reason. I love that they slice the meat to order right in front of you and pile it high; fries and other sides are very good.

I obtained the Reuben sandwich which was basically simply bread, sauerkraut and also corned beef, just how a good Reuben needs to be. They sculpt the corned beef as you order and also stack a generous section of the meat. Preference is great and the meat is really tender. Advises me of one of those popular NY design delis. I would certainly consider it one of the better choices around Cavity if you like corned beef sandwiches.Food: 4.25\/ 5Value: 3.5\/ 5Service: 3.5\/ 5Overall: 4\/5

Delicious sandwiches, hand carved meats right when you order. Prices are a bit high in my opinion, but probably normal for downtown. I paid $8.99 for a roast beef french dip. Lots of business people eat here.

Beef dip, horse radish, onions, Swiss cheese is my go to order. The dip itself makes the sandwich. The dip is fatty and delicious.i have tried other things like pastrami and corn beef and they are just ok. But the beef dip alone gives this place 5. Can get busy during lunch but lines move fast.

Listen.. this is _by far_ the greatest, tastiest, most well put together sandwich I've had in a long time. Every part of it was nearly perfect.. the soft roll, the thin sliced onions and meats and the fresh produce. Marco Pierre White was right.. perfection is lots of little things done well, and this spot utterly exemplifies this ideal. Eat here or suffer regret.

First time here. I ordered a hot pastrami (freshly sliced), fries and a drink. Food was good, but not $17 worth of goodness. Staff seem to be friendly, I just didnt have much interaction with them. If your good with the prices it is good food.
