Finally trying out this Curtis Park gem, and I love it. Super comfortable place with an easy vibe, interesting menu, sidewalk and patio dining, and lots of deep, comfy booths (yes!). Enjoying a Greek quiche for dinner with black bean soup and a local red ale, reading the newspapers they have laying about.
Ahhh ... after years of searching, I think I've finally found a hangout! :)
My brother who lives in the area recommended Dantorels. My friends and I were impressed with the wide selection of menu items. And, staff was wonderfully attentive and we liked being able to eat outside. There were misters on the front patio, a great, roomy back patio and a variety of seating inside. Friends and I are all looking forward to eating there again.
Great place! Loved the atmosphere and their tea selection was amazing. If you like crepeville you’ll like this place, same menu.
The best place for a meeting Maria is there during the days and has always been helpful as have the entire staff
Great breakfast! My husband and I stopped in on a Sunday morning. The line was long, but moved quickly. We had the Bergen benedict and the Steak crepe. Both were excellent! So was their coffee and a bearclaw that tasted as amazing as it looked! I will definitely stop in again when I'm in the area!
THE IMPOSSIBLE BURGER...
Oh my god, my favorite meal in Sacramento right now. You would never know it's not real beef. I could easily go vegetarian with plant based meat substitutes like this. Perhaps I will... please continue to make this magical wonder of a burger. I'm a regular now, get used to me, and I will be bringing friends and family to share in my burger experience. See you soon
Terrific neighborhood spot with fresh food selections and good beer and wine offerings. Surprisingly deep offers of crepes, and the sweet ones make a wonderful dessert. The saffron salmon plate was flavorful and a big portion. My spouse enjoyed the brie and bacon burger, saying it was juicy and almost too much. For just $1 more she upgraded to sweet potato fires which were crispy on the outside and moist inside.
Plenty of seating: inside, outside or in the covered patio. Very quaint setting. Order your food and drinks and they'll bring it out. Good spot for groups.
Delightful farm to table feel. Coffee options are great. Had breakfast and sat outside by the fire. Very pleasant. Food was superb and the price was not terribly expensive.
Yesterday was my first time going to this place with my two cousins. They’ve been here a couple times and I love everything about this place. I will most definitely come back and this time I will bring my mother with me because I am pretty sure she will love how nice it is and how the food is so delicious. Thank you for making my first experience great
I know i missed taking pictures for the food but here is what we ordered. I had the steak and eggs omelette which was so good and filling. It was my mistake I requested well done, they didn’t joke about it! For next time i will request medium well. Their orange juice is freshly squeezed. Lastly we ordered impossible burger and it was so good! For later i got the latte and the hazelnut chocolate cafe. Their coffee provided by temple which you can’t go wrong with it. Cake was offered by freeport bakery which was alright not wow! I have pictures for that part tho!
Their service wasn’t the best. The waitress we got was not so smiley or enthusiastic. She kept giving us a weird and unhappy looks.
Overall, i will come back again to try more foods!

I got the Brie and Candied Bacon Burger. Holy smokes! It was insanely delicious. Such a unique burger and a great selection of beers. We sat on the shaded patio and enjoyed the heck out of ourselves on a Friday afternoon. Thank you!
One of my regular places I like to go to when I visit family in Sacramento. Staff is always friendly and the food is delicious with generous portions. I have noticed over the last year that there are subtle changes and it makes the place seem less homey and more like any other place. The patio is still nice but they took away the neat chalkboard menu which I always liked to see, there used to be plants inside to add atmosphere even if they weren't live, the bathrooms have become noticeably less clean, the food/dish carts in the doorway on hallway to bathrooms seems messier with more flies and food on the floor (granted the doors are open hence more flies). They used to have these large cookies jars selling their amazing cookies that are no longer there...so place just is less inviting then when I first started going over 5 yrs ago. At least the food remains pretty flavorful with large portions which make the increase in prices.
Made a last minute decision to try this place and I’m glad I did. The food and coffee is amazing, everything was brought out quickly, and the art around the dining area is great. With the quality of the food and it being a Saturday I’m surprised this place doesn’t have a line out the door. 4.9/5.
Love the restaurant. And today I got a free chai tea because the barista made one that somebody else ordered, wrong, and didn't want to throw it out! I'm a regular here at this point! Today I took my family here, but usually I am solo after work!
Loved the food and the atmosphere! The food is a little bland but they got salt and black pepper for that! The ambiance and atmosphere was so relaxing and chill!
I had the steak and eggs which came with potatoes with Italian seasoning, toast and sliced tomatoes with homemade strawberry jam. I enjoyed the steak and eggs and the tomatoes was a nice addition, but the potatoes were just ok. They have a full bar and their Bloody Mary mixes are homemade and tasty. They have an industrialized juicer! I can’t wait to come back and try them. You place your order as soon as you walk in. Find a table. They have a good sized outside patio available for dine in. They serve temple coffee, which is my first choice. The only service they provide is delivering your food to you, and that you don’t have to take your dirty dishes to the counter. This restaurant serves all meals, breakfast lunch and dinner. The steak and eggs were quite filling, so no room for desert. Next time ;)
Street parking ,and they close at 10pm, open at 8am.
Amazing service and quality food. Sat outside under a heating lamp to enjoy this tiramisu latte.
Always a great time here! It’s a cute little cafe in the Curtis Park area of Sacramento. They have a nice outdoor area in the back with a huge fireplace table in the middle. Every time I’ve been here the food and service has been wonderful. They serve alcohol and have a great dessert case of locally baked cakes. I highly recommend checking them out for brunch! The only down side is they get SUPER busy so there may be a wait.
Kinda pricey but reallllly good food and large portions. The lattes were delicious.
Great service steak and eggs were cooked to my liking (over easy eggs and medium steak) Brothers eggs benedict he enjoyed thoroughly. All in all it was delicious and we will be back
The creamy cilantro burger and Philly cheese & steak crepe were delicious. The crepe and breakfast potatoes had no salt, but other than that, we really liked the food. The food is overpriced, but worth trying.
