Great Korean spot in the Rosemont-Sacramento area. Came in for early dinner, 5pm-6pm. Staff was friendly, greeted us, and we sat down promptly. The dining area was pleasing and plentiful.
Ordered the Bossam, Fried rice Kimchi & Kimchi Jige. Food came out nice and fresh. They served lots of side dishes as well, I couldn't name them all, but steamed white rice, kimchi, pickled reddish, were a few of them.
Good for groups. Food came out fairly quickly. Their service was attentive. There's lunch prices for some items
First time trying Korean food. It was an experience eating some items that are served cold. It was a mixed bag of things I liked and didn’t like but I was glad to expand my horizon with different foods. Fresh ingredients and staff was friendly and provided good service.
Beback rating- Sure, but not anytime soon
Pros- clean restaurant and bathroom, very good food served(but see the cons), easy to find location, good workers.
Cons- everything is sweet with no degree of heat(sweet kimchi?)
Ultimate Con- They force a minimum order . In my example, there were four of us and we had to order 3 entrees as a minimum. It’s said to be because of the high cost of the sides. I don’t know if other Korean restaurants do this, but it’s not a good policy. They can reduce the sides as an option.
As my Beback rating says- I’ll be back but not as often which supports this idea- you can make 1 dollar off of me today but I may never come back Or you can make 25 cents today but I come back often.
Best Korean food I’ve ever had! The owners are beyond accommodating and so very nice! There’s more than a dozen little side dishes that come out with every meal and it’s very fun to taste each one of them. I highly recommend getting the stone bowl. The beef is absolutely amazing! I would highly recommend taking friends and family here on any occasion.
YD has been my favorite Korean restaurant in Sac for more than 6 years. However, unlike past visits, it kinda let me down this time. Still not bad, but the taste and size of food are not as good as before, especially the seafood pancake. :(
The food here are incredible, we arrived 8 so hungry they served really fast after saw the small dishes we were amazed I heard about it but seeing with your own eyes is different level and all dish are soooo good. Tofu soup same taste as other place but their fried chicken are tender and juicy inside crispy on the outside, the Galbi tang the broth tasted like concentrated. Cannot wait to go back to try other dishes.
People are so nice good service
PS each table order the fried chicken
The food is great! Served family style in large quantities and ABSOLUTELY scrumptious! It's not a fancy dining spot by any means but extra clean, and running like a Swiss watch. Kudos to the staff!
The prices at first seem high, but make perfect sense once you see how much food you're getting. Plan to split any of the entrees unless you are really hungry.
First time at a Korean restaurant. Loved the experience. Will go back again.
Our Korean friends took us there. We did not know how to order.
But anyone who likes Indian or Thai food will like this. I mean that it is not bland food. Has many flavors. You can request for more spice. It is unlike Indian or Thai food, but it is like Indian and Thai food with reference to diverse flavors.
3rd time at YD tofu house because I really enjoy their banchan. This time I got a bibimbap and hubby got some fried chicken.
The bibimbap was really good and fresh. Right amount of veggies and meat.
The fried chicken was nothing fancy and little lacking of seasoning BUT it was okay.
Service is really good here, they are very attentive and accomodating :)
Went here today with my wife, she has really been craving Korean food. She said this was best Korean Food she'd had in Sacramento. It was really good, large servings served with really good side dishes. Authentic and amazing Korean food, very friendly staff, we had a lot of food to split between ourselves I'd suggest coming with a large group of people.
Went to satisfy our Gejang cravings. pleased with the service and generous side dish. Kimchi is authentic and prolly the best Iv ever tasted since Seoul.
$50 for all this including tip. Hot tea provided at no additional cost. I don't know most of the names of the Banchan dishes, but tasted good. Ordered for main dishes Soon Du Bu and Haemool Pajun and would recommend these. Each is enough for two people. Nice atmosphere and ample parking. Would come here again.
Great place to eat authentic Korean foods. The variety are great and the foods are delicious. Environment are clean and bright and relaxing. The customer service is very good and professional. Highly recommend this place.
Quality of food was excellent & delicioust. Quantity was plentiful and generous. The friendly waitress checked on us often & refilled our appetizers. Will have to come back to try the dozens of other dishes!
