Your chicken avocado curry with brown rice is on-point! Can’t drink just one Thai Iced Tea, either! My only complaint is that I need a place to take a nap after your meal. I would suggest adding a cot to the decor.

My favorite lunch spot. The food is fresh, well-cooled, and flavorful. Bonus: "Thai-hot" is really spicy; love it. Going to try this place for dinner, soon.

Best Thai food in the whole CV. Glad it did not go out of business when it moved from south Land Park.

What Amazing place to eat with family. This is my fourth time visiting this restaurant. It is quite nice and the food is delicious and the staff are very friendly. Most Thai places in Sacramento are good but this spot is in my top 5.

The Thai food here was soooo good! All the food had a very comfortable amount of heat without being overpowering! We got the red curry, fires rice, spicy fish, and pad Thai, and i couldn't stop eating it was so good. I think my only complaint is that the spicy fish didn't have much fish for $16. It was maybe like 2 pieces of fish per person. Also they do not provide any complimentary rice with any dishes, even the curry, and that's an extra $1.50 per bowl, which I didn't like. The service was good though and they were always coming up to us refilling our water and asking if we were doing well.

I came in for lunch on Memorial Day and the place was empty. I’m not sure why, because the food was great! I had the basil stir fry and the flavor was great. The decor is neat too.

Today was my family’s first time visiting JP Thai Kitchen. I used the reviews to decide where we would stop, so I thought I should contribute after our meal. We were greeted by friendly staff members as we walked in, so great start. The tables and floors were all very clean. The meal was served family style. We had the fresh spring rolls with shrimp, chicken satay, cucumber salad, wonton soup, crab fried rice and chicken pad Thai. Everything was made to order, so they were able to leave egg out of the Pad Thai and the onions out of the crab fried rice when we requested. My daughters shared the sticky rice with mango but I was entirely too full for dessert. Everything we ate was EXCELLENT, though we all ended up having different favorites. I feel that the portion sizes were good, the quality was excellent, the prices very fair for what we got. As we left we were already talking about how much we look forward to going back again. I’d have trouble ordering something new because I liked what we had so much. You should definitely consider trying JP’s.

This place is such a hidden gem, the food is amazing!! I was looking for a good place to eat during a short visit to Sacramento and we chose this place on a whim because of it's high rating. The atmosphere inside is lovely and the servers are nice. I was surprised that we were the only customers inside everytime we went. We ended up eating here 3 days in a row because we got addicted!! The pad thai was my favorite, it's so saucey and delicious.

Always a pleasure dining here. It's been a while but I'm happy to share that the flavors are still robust and food is still delightful. We had the papaya salad Lao style. Drunken noodles with chicken. Red Curry with seafood combination with a side of rice. The two of us were stuffed. No more happy hour available due to the pandemic but the food portions are plenty and price is affordable. Competitive with other Thai restaurants. Support local because this husband and wife duo knows where the flavors at!

Pad Thai with prawns was excellent. The shrimp and chicken wonton is excellent as well. The stuffed chicken wings were dry, so I will stick with the sunrise bags. This place is as good as my old go to in West Sacramento! They are closed between 3&4 pm...FYI!

Our go to Thai spot. Consistently delicious, quick, good spiciness and great mild plates for the kids. The whole steamed fish 🐟 is tasty.

JP Thai is one of the best Thai restaurants in Sacramento. The food is made fresh to order, the food is flavorful, and the staff are always very friendly. The restaurant is conveniently located in the heart of South Sacramento. There is plenty of parking spaces and I felt safe in the area. I highly recommend this business if you want a taste of Thailand.
