Stopped in on a whim. Cute little place with an extremely friendly staff. Super cold beer on tap, which is always appreciated. The raw scallops were amazing! Ocean fresh and very sweet. Best I've ever had. Excellent sea steak. Large sliced portion. The rolls looked incredible and large as well. Will be trying them next time. Don't let the horrible parking situation intimidate you. Park on Broadway and walk. I promise it will be worth it! Taking a friend next week to share this hidden gem in my neighborhood!

This restaurant has a small footprint, which I love. These folks have it down. Anything cooked, comes out fast and perfect. Best edamame and pot stickers I've ever had. The sushi was right on the mark. We had various dishes at our table; from sushi to chicken teriyaki to ramen. All of it excellent. Everyone at our table was quiet because they were so focused on the food. This is my sushi place from now on. I've been eating sushi since 83', and the only sushi that was even comparable was in Tokyo.

Yummy! Had the vegetarian tempura appetizer, the Bob roll and the unfiltered Nigori Sake. Delicious. They do a pretty steady dinner service. A lot of to go orders but seating for dine in was no problem. I'll be back.

Was surprised by how good the rib ramen was! It gained more flavor over time the linger the meat sat in the broth! Can't wait to try the bone marrow ramen next time!

I would definitely go back! And have been back on several occasions. I try to switch it up, but their Mt. Fuji rolls are too good to pass up!!

Favorite sushi place in Sacramento. Small and unassuming makes it a find. Little parking, so be prepared to do a little hunting. Every dish has been to our liking. Temperature, flavor, and texture are spot on.Big fan.

We loved this visit. The food was amazing. Jimmy, our server was attentive, funny, quick and personable, they way a server should be only he is a super star. Food came out quickly. Libations are what you should expect from this place. It was my son’s birthday so Jimmy gave him and his sister a super ice cream macaroon treat. The house ramens are delicious. Shrimp tempura are large and scrumptious. You have to try the pork belly appetizer. The beer on tap is cold and glasses are chilled perfectly. Definitely check this place out, a new favorite for us. We will definitely be back.

Don't let the location and size of the restaurant fool you. This small local sushi and ramen place is a jewel. Wonderful staff and owner that treat you like family. They get busy, especially around dinner time. Dine in or take out you can't go wrong. Sashimi is always fresh, tasteful and beautiful. Variety of ramen that has very rich and flavorful broths. Wide range of sushi rolls to choose from , also can request the chefs to build your own roll. Highly suggest to give this spot a try, you will not be disappointed.

Good quality food, quite expensive. The bone marrow ramen $19 only has a bone and noodles. Soup tastes good.

We've been to many ramen restaurants in Sac and this is the best one in my opinion. We go here at least once a month, sometimes more than that. We always bring our friends and have NEVER had a bad experience. Ramen is amazing. Kaarage is amazing. Really good rolls and pot stickers as well. My wife gets the oxtail ramen every single time and I always get the pork belly ramen. So good.

Really good. Me and my family came here for something quick and nice and it was a lot better than we thought it would be. Food got to us quick and we had no problems. May be the best sushi and ramen we’ve had.

Ramen was sooooo good! Parking was a struggle which told us it must be good food and indeed, it was! I ate my leftovers the next day and it was just as good if not better!

This is my go-to place for sushi. It's a small restaurant about 6 or 7 tables and the bar. The spicy vargas is my favorite roll it's spicy and lemony and so fresh. The service is awesome as well. The ramen is delicious too but I hardly get it because I always get the sushi. The menu is smaller but they do everything they have very well. I definitely recommend this place. I've been going to this place for years! Now I have 2 kids and live in Oregon but anytime I'm in Sacramento I must come here! Spicy Vargas is the best roll I've found yet!

I recently dined on this restaurant and I was extremely impressed by the overall experience. The food was outstanding, every dish was cooked to perfection and had the perfect balance of flavors. The sushi and sashimi were incredibly fresh and the tempura was light and crispy. The presentation of the dishes was beautiful and added to the overall dining experience. The service was also top-notch, the staff were friendly, attentive, and very knowledgeable about the menu, they were able to recommend dishes that I wouldn't have tried otherwise and they were all delicious. The atmosphere of the restaurant was elegant and traditional, it truly felt like I was dining in Japan. The traditional decor and ambiance added to the authenticity of the Japanese dining experience. The restaurant was also very clean and well-maintained, which added to the overall enjoyment of the meal. I highly recommend this restaurant to anyone looking for an authentic and enjoyable Japanese dining experience, the food, service and atmosphere were all excellent. This is definitely a place I would return to, it was an amazing experience. Oishi! Itadakemashu!
