Just ok. My sister had a Gold Margarita and it was very weak and bland, very watery taste-actually ended up ordering a different drink. Salsa tasted something like roasted peppers from a can, mooshy and not fresh. Onion rings, enteres and desert were good.
In a word: service. We were there for a high school graduation dinner and the service we received was excellent! The waitress was very efficient and patient with all of our party of about 25 people including children. She got everyone’s order right and the food came out pretty fast. I love Applebees perfect margaritas and they didn’t disappoint! The food is good but I can’t say it is great! I think for a neighborhood franchise restaurant, Applebees has decent food and the prices are reasonable.
I usually take my wild boys w me here and they love it. Great place for family. My boys rate this place all 5 🌟 🤩.
The unlimited riblets were good but the brewpup pretzels were my favorite. Definitely coming back. Heaven was the best server and bartender. She made it happen while they were short staffed!
Service was quick. I really appreciated that this establishment had physical menus rather than having to scan a QR Code with you phone to view the menu on you cell phone. I got the Lime Chicken with Spanish rice, it was so good. My husband got the Bourbon Bacon Burger with fries, he said it needed more of the bourbon sauce, they only gave a dot of sauce in the middle. So it was dry. My mom had the Classic Cheeseburger and said that it was dry as well since it came with no condiments. I had a top shelf long island iced tea with my meal, it was delicious. My mom had the shark bowl, she said you could not taste any alcohol in it and the gummy sharks too to frozen to eat. I would recommend eating here, where my husband and mother may not have enjoyed they're meals, I throughly enjoyed every bite of mine.
The food was good. Portion sizes weren't MASSIVE which is good. I have a pretty healthy appetite and some places still just give way too darn much food. Not the case here. It wasn't too expensive either.
Got the free veteran's day meal for my dad. He seemed to enjoy it. It was from a specific menu they had for vets, but it was also on the regular menu as well and not just some tiny thing they throw together because it's free. Thought that was kinda nice.
Given that they were giving free food away, I was grateful that there was no long line. The restaurant seemed to be close to full considering Covid restrictions, but there was pretty much no wait at all. We were seated immediately and I was surprised at how quickly the food came out.
They did have this special Mountain Dew flavor I wanted to try, but unfortunately they were out. It's a little too bad because allegedly it's an exclusive flavor, and I don't go out much. So I'm likely not going to get another chance to try it. Hopefully it's not limited time only and it'll still be there whenever the next time I go out will be.
Over all, good food, good service. It was the number one place my dad wanted to go to get his free veteran meal and I can see why. He was not disappointed, so all good for me.
We've lived in the area for over 4 years and come to applebees atleast once every 6 months. We happened to come during the happy hour and you can't beat the deals. Our server was not the very best. We got all of our food, but she failed to get us the straws and sauces we asked for. She didn't give us a refill or even stop by our table. The table next to us complained about something and the server and manager both apologized atleast 3 times.
The food was great but not the service. I'm glad for self check out! We would have waited longer had we not checked out via tablet on the table.
Honestly, the chicken wonton taco appetizer is always fire! We got the quesadilla burger, but subbed grilled chicken for the burger. The quesadilla burger (beef or chicken) is where it’s at! Tex Mex Shrimp Irresistibowl was also very good. Staff was very friendly and you could tell they were all working very hard!
My twins birthday today so I took them to Applebee's and they enjoyed their burgers and fries. I had 12oz ribeye steak ($21.99) with broccoli and mushrooms ($0.99). Strawberry lemonade was $3.99.Finished it off with triple chocolate melt ($6.79). Social distance between diners, clean tables and masks required. We had a good day today.
The waiter was friendly and nice for our 4 person table. The place was cozy and had more than enough arm room for 4 average sized adults to sit comfortably.
Both the combo appetizer and chicken noodle plates were delicious. Recommended.
