I use this place to cater all of my meeting and events. Jenny is always so friendly and helpful. If you have not tried their banh mi sandwich you need to.

The staff is always friendly, and helpful. The food is wonderful. When I find myself with business to do around Capitol Ave. and 4th Street, I like to stop in for lunch.

The food is unbelievable and it's for a great cause. I used My Sister's Cafe for a bridal shower and all the guests raved about all the food but the jalapeño chicken quiche and tomato basil frittatas were a huge hit. Terrific service and they delivered everything on time.

I found this place by accident. The food was amazing. I would come and try all the daily specials if I could. I came on Thursday so I was able to get the tacos with the side salad. I got it with pork but u can get it with tofu or chicken also. It was only $10 and it was filling. The sauces were awesome too. I would for sure come back.

Darling cafe with very nice people working. I ordered the pork Banh mi thanks to all the other positive reviews on here and was delighted to find it lived up to my expectations! I visited at 10am on a Friday and they were serving breakfast and lunch. My matcha milk tea was ok, but everything else was great so I kept 5 stars. Next time I’ll get a Vietnamese coffee to go with my sandwich :) Also, it was cool to see the staff making a mass food order for their non-profit side. Cute cafe, will definitely visit again. Also, I don’t think it’s hard to find; they have good signage in the little alcove, can’t miss it.

Nice diner experience for lunch. We arrived around 1:00 pm so there was no wait. My cheeseburger had a thick beef pattie with the right amount of lettuce and tomato. My wife's Banh Mi sandwich was fresh and tasty. The folks that worked there were quick and friendly. I'd have lunch there again.

One of my favorite lunch spots in Downtown Sacramento! I eat here weekly and love the Thai peanut wrap with chicken. My Sister's Cafe is a program of My Sister's House and is doing some great work in the community.

I was in the neighborhood today and craving bánh mì. I remember seeing reviews about this place.Decided to give it a try. I ordered a chicken bánh mì at the counter. The people were very pleasant. Service was friendly and prompt. And the sandwich — it’s a bit messy to eat, but really worth it. Love their pickled veggies and (I’m assuming) house mayo. The chicken meat was also good quality. Fresh sandwich and toward a good cause. Definitely a win! Will come back!

This eatery on the Capitol Mall in Sacramento has a big sign. I thought it would be easily found, but it is tucked in behind some other business that is closed now. I almost didn't find it and quit looking. I'm glad I didn't. I ordered the teriyaki bowl and a large coffee. The tables are each furnished with Kikkoman soy sauce dispensers (5 oz.) and Sriracha sauce (Ox Brand). Some are low and some are high. There are some outside as well. The only problem with those is the potential of wind tunneling. However, this is made less likely by its being perpendicular to the thoroughfare.

Loved the fresh and crunchy ingredients in my veggie sandwich. The bread smelled nicely toasted. Portions were generous. Everything tasted home made and it was delicious 😋 The staff was attentive and professional to the patrons. Thank you. I will see you again hopefully soon.

I visited My Sister's Cafe a few months ago while in town for a business trip. With no reservations, I recommend you patron this restaurant! The food was delicious and service was excellent. The employees were easy going and hospitable. Additionally, proceeds from the restaurant support a great cause! Order "Nancy's Noodle Salad" if it's on the menu when you go. It was the daily special when I visited & it was so good!

Ate here for the first time yesterday, and I was very impressed. I tried the chicken curry salad sandwich. I'd never heard of such a thing, but I may never try anything else because I don't ever want to pass it up! Staff was friendly, and could tell there were lots of regulars. That is always a sign that the food is great. I highly recommend checking it out.

Incredible! Their kimchi sandwich is one of the best sandwiches I've had in Sacramento. Great prices too, and a huge menu. Might have to walk a couple blocks but it's well worth it. Plus the money goes to a great charitable cause. You have every reason to eat here.

I really enjoy the food here as it is freshly prepared and the money they earn goes towards a very worthy cause. They have awesome Asian fusion food (Banh mi, salad and wraps) that are wonderful, and their specials (Pho, curry, noodles) are amazing too.

The sandwiches are excellent (veggie with the capers and pesto instead of cream cheese is phenomenal) and this place is out to serve a good cause, which makes me feel better about eating out. Try their recommended tea!
