Great food, great price, great ambiance, great service. I would definitely recommend this place.
The chili cheeseburger was amazing! The staff was super friendly and knew the menu. They could answer all my questions with ease. The beignets were wonderful! They had a nice selection of beverages. Plus, the paper towel dispensers mounted on the walls by all the tables was genius! When I go back to Sacramento next year, I will definitely be back!
Great food great friend great time. Definitely recommend willies. A must go
I was expecting dinner to be so big very filling garlic Fry's the whole meal was filling.
DJ.
This was good food. Enjoyed sitting out side and talking to people as they walked by.
A tasty chili burger. I ordered the Slammer C with grilled onions. The burger and chili were flavorful and hot. Cost about $6 for the burger which seemed like a fair price.
Took off a star for cleanliness because it felt like the tables and floors hadn’t been cleaned recently.
Food is good! But the inside was a bit small and not well planned. Regardless, a great place to grab a bite in old Sacramento!
Me and my co-workers decided to eat here and it was great food and great service. Definitely recommend going here. The staff is friendly and you can ask them for suggestions 😀
Edit: this place was great! Burgers were priced great and decent sized. The wait this time was not long at all. The onion ring portion was huge, way too many for one order but great for sharing!
This place was great, Keto options which I love. The burgers were a good prize for the size. The garlic fries had waaaay too much garlic for us but I'm sure somebody would love them. The small fry was huge! The wait for our food was long considering there was nobody in line and I wish we could eat at those tall tables outside the restaurant but you can't.
My coworkers and I all went here for dinner. Good overall atmosphere, friendly staff, and quick service. Burgers were good. Onion rings and garlic fries were a big hit. The only downside was the lack of AC. Will be back!
Super good burgers and best zoo fries you'll ever have. Stop by here If you're in old sac for one of their signature beignets
Was in old town Sacramento waiting for a comedy show and looking for somewhere to quickly grab a bite. A lot of the local restaurants had forty minutes wait, finally came across Willie’s Burgers.
Wound up getting the bacon cheeseburger, garlic fries and onion rings. The burger was tasty with crispy bacon, the garlic fries weren’t overpowered with garlic which is what I like, but the onion rings had a sweet batter to them which I wasn’t a big fan of. Would definitely come back here when in the area and looking to grab a quick bite.
Loved the Burger and the fries! Its a bit oily but very tasty you'll love it👍
I grabbed a Doordash order here before & needed to give them a try on my off time. We ordered 2 Slammer DCC's. Took it home to eat. & they were delish! Their prices are affordable & the food is waaaay worth the money. I'll be back to try the other food items. If you haven't tried Willie's, it's a must! You can also see your food being made right on the spot. The wait way just 5 minutes for me. I love this place.
In a neighborhood filled with tourist traps, Willie's Hamburgers has the feel of a local spot. It's patrons looked like locals, but who knows?
My Hammer #4 add bacon and avacado, was delicious. Every burger guy's hope in trying a new place. Mine had a bit too much lettuce, that's the only critique I have.
The cheese was phenomenal, almost sensual
Bold yet supple, it complimented the meat like two tango dangers complement each other. These cooks know how to keep a grill seasoned, and betrothed me two perfectly cooked flat patties, savory, juicy, with just a little smokiness. Topped off with a healthy mound of bacon, fresh veggies, and a toasted bun, and you got a burger worth swinging by for- at a very reasonable price.
The vibe of the burger spot is somehow lively yet private, a good spot if you have people or are on your own. I definitely recommend eating out on the walkway bar so you can people watch and enjoy historic Old Sacramento.
Great burgers and fries, VERY reasonably priced, especially for a tourist attraction like Old Town.
If you are a fan of Tommy's chili burgers in Southern California, you MUST get their chili burger. It was close enough to evoke nostalgia in this former Tommy's devotee (we moved away from SoCal).
The owner and staff were friendly and made us laugh.
One quick note: if you need to use the restroom, don't freak out if you find yourself in the storeroom. The restroom door is to the right, and it's very clean inside!
Visited Old Sacramento and after a walk around we knew this was the spot we wanted to have our lunch at. The burger options are plentiful and the beignets were great. The place is extremely affordable and is a good option for a lazy Sunday lunch meal.
Kinda a good sign when you forget to take a photo bc you devoured the food right? Lol
Their veggie burger was really good! My friends all got different things and we all enjoyed it very much.
